I like the Waterfront Pure Gym because it is less crowded and it is close to Morrisons. The only downside is that they use a lot AC. Nowadays, it is freezing in female changing room :/

The instructors of the classes are great ! Very friendly! Aleksandra, Anthony and Sophie are all fab and even though the classes are quiet in the morning when I go , they are always enthusiastic! (I think they even put on more classes as I requested them!) This pure gym is great because there is lots of space to stretch too and never feels too busy!

Fraser took the time to show me around, listen to my goals and what I wanted to achieve by joining and even gave me and another lady a quick introduction to weightlifting. A very positive experience.

the Gym is well run and clean with the correct behaviour from members. The equipment is maintained and there is space in which to ensure that the use of the equipment does not impede anyone else. The changing rooms are kept reasonably clean but members have a duty to ensure that they bin their rubbish and don't leave it for other people to clean up. There is still a shower out of order and has been for some time. The temperature of the showers has been turned down which is a poor decision and done without any kind of consultation with members. After a workout a hot shower is helpful in relaxing strained muscles, a luke warm one isn't .

I would suggest fixing the chest and rear delts fly machine. In my opinion, a very important machine and part of many routines. It's quite off which could lead to injury and imbalance in growth on the long run. Overall, the gym is okay.

I enjoy coming along to the circuit training classes with Fraser. He makes the classes challenging, interactive & fun and I feel stronger and healthier afterwards. I am also considering PT sessions with him to increase my motivation and confidence.

I have been going to this PureGym for years now. I am fortunate enough to be able to go during the day (usually late morning), and most times can get on all the kit that I want to.
The staff are freidnly and helpful and the place is well laid out and - especially if you love running or cycling - there are dozens of machines to use.
The price is great too and it is only 7 mins walk from home.

Dust and spider webs on machines, missing free weights on top floor, lack of mirrors, very cold in the mornings, not many lockers available as people secure lockers by locking them! There are 3 people at the gym and you have to really look for available locker!
