Was trying to cancel for 2 months but…
Was trying to cancel for 2 months but my cancellation option was disabled,
I email them and they said to cancel with the bank.
They still charged me 2 extra months as couldn't cancel through the bank even if I emailed them !!!!!!

Useable, not nice to go to though.
Nice staff, a fair amount of machines.
Hygiene seems a bit poor, no cleaning suppled by gym to clean the machines after you use them, like other gyms of PureGym. They have a cleaner but I've only ever seen them clean the display screen for the adds.
It's seems to be more often used by teens or kids in groups, usually surrounding one machine or grouped in the bathrooms flexing in the mirrors. It gets really loud when you happen to go when they are there.

It’s ok in a pinch
Honestly, it’s not so much the equipment but the environment I wasn’t a fan of. As soon as I walked in the changing room there were a big group of young lads shirts off posing in the mirror, swearing, playing videos on their phones and shouting to each other. The actual gym was packed full of kids spending way too much time on their phones sat on stations. I was doing heavy squats and found I was being stared at a heck of a lot. Quite uncomfortable.
Couple of nice interactions but the general atmosphere wasn’t great. People just coming to your squat rack nabbing plates without asking.

Great experience on website
They ensured my data safety and I had a good experience on the website and I could easily find everything I wanted, the gym is also very good and the app has good features like it tells you how many people are in the gym so I can plan when I go

Good for the price
Large range of equipment. Good size changing rooms, all generally clean, just some days not quite so. Water now available for free (was out of use for many months) and shower pressure seems improved. Staff need to be more active to monitor member use though, particularly putting away weights. Often staff have gone home and so no one to check or tidy up. The price is excellent and in these recent years of high inflation, surprised they have kept it so low. Maynot be the perfect gym, but for the price, I think 4 out of 5 stars. End of May update: saw staff actually working in the gym recently! Putting away weights, moving items back to where they should be and cleaning! At last - get those lazy employees working!

The gym it’s self is a good gym but…
The gym it’s self is a good gym but there is just too many people in there so it’s hard to get the equipment you want I think it will be better if they make it bigger and have more equipment for people to use.

Our gyms are indeed very popular and so can become busy especially at peak times, but this does fluctuate throughout the day. Members can also use the members area via the PureGym app or website to see how many people are in the gym.

Great value for equipment training facilities.
long term member since 2018 , upkeep on cleanliness and maintenance at all time low.
Changing rooms flooded constantly , litter everywhere no drinking water since September 24. Shame the day to day upkeep has gone downhill.

There has been no drinking water for 3 months either from the taps or from the Yanga Water machine. I still pay the highest fee to use the water but I am losing money because I have no information from the staff as to when the water will be available. Shame.

Changing the gym soon
I’ve been going to this gym for over a year and it got worse and worse. Door is constantly broken, so you have to wait in lines to get in. Weights are scattered all over the gym, and in the second part of the day doesn’t seem like anyone has any interest in tidying that up. Water fountain and hydrating station are out of order for 4 months now and when asked, one of the team members said there’s nothing they can do cause the water in it didn’t pass the safety tests (???? Does that mean it wasn’t safe to drink the whole time people were drinking it?). At least once a month we get a notification that gym is shut cause water doesn’t work/door is completely broken or whatever else, and that we can go to different gym instead. There’s never soap in bathrooms. Blue roll and spray is there but most of the time it’s empty cause there’s literally 2 for the whole gym that has sometimes 200 people in. On top of that we pay for 24/7 and it was closed on 25/12, like, what is even the point? 24/7 means 24/7 not close and deactivate everyone’s codes whenever we feel like. There was a lot of very popular classes, but all got cancelled and replaced with something else that barely anyone goes to. In general, horrible experience and I’m moving to a different brand next week.

Cold and Unwelcoming
Went for a day pass and didn’t get my code by the time I got there, pressed the help button and ended up stood outside for 10mins. No-one answered and couldn’t see anyone staff about - do you even have staff?! No contact number for the club and no staff to help. Makes you feel like a lemon when you can’t even get in. Wasted my time when I was pressed for time anyway! Overall it put a real downer on my session, once I was inside the whole place felt very cold and unwelcoming can honestly say I’d rather go literally anywhere else. If you want a gym experience that makes you feel good then this isn’t it.
