This gym needs a number limit on the amount of people who can be signed up- every time i go to the gym all the equipment is being used and it’s a mission to get anything. This can make an anxious gym goer not feel comfortable in a gym. The space in my local gym is very small for the 60-70 odd people in there at peak times and these are times which you can only go to the gym during- therefore it’s hard to go when it’s not absolutely rammed ((between the hours of 4:30-7))
However, the staff are so kind and supportive. if you need a hand they are always there with a smile and positive advice. They really make the gym what it is and the cleanliness of the gym is always top notch

The equipment hall is very well…
The equipment hall is very well arranged and organized, so it can be said that everything is perfect. However, regarding the heating in the equipment hall, it is not good—it is constantly cold. In the men’s changing room, there is very often no hot water at the sink; it is very dirty and very cold.

Temperatures/air con in our gyms are automatically regulated by Smart machines, but if there is a persistent issue staff may be able to override it and can certainly report it to be checked by engineers. Excellent PureGym experience across…
Excellent PureGym experience across multiple locations; Bromley, Sutton, Walton on Thames, Staines, among others. Regularly refurbished, great selection of classes and different times, and nice selection and quantity of equipment and machines. Staff always friendly and approachable. Especially Mahrez - Walton on Thames & new manager at Staines.

Very good
All the staff are very nice and the equipments are well maintained.
The only problem is an unstable supply of hot water in the female changing room. Most of the time it comes cold.

I'm not a gym rat
I'm not a gym rat, I'm over weight and trying to lose some. It's reasonably friendly atmosphere, equipment pretty good and easy to access. It's a great cost compared to other clubs and a good location easily accessed. I love the app giving me coaching tips and exercises to help me lose weight.

I have been a member of the gym for a…
I have been a member of the Walton pure gym for a few years now, and there have been some improvements. The most significant improvement is that the car park is now free. Otherwise, I don't know if it would still be there. The price/quality ratio seems excessive compared to the surrounding area. There are some major shortcomings. For example, I was at the gym yesterday and decided to take a shower, but I gave up because it was cold water (it was also cold outside). By a strange coincidence, there was no one on duty to complain. This may have been a strategy, or the showers are simply decorative. I would give it a 2/5 rating just for the car parking, otherwise it would be a 1/5 at the moment.

Signing up was so so easy
Signing up was so so easy, the app is straightforward and so from sourcing Pure Gym website via a Google search, to joining, to downloading the Pure Gym App, to starting my first work out - all done in under 30 mins!!

Taking out a Day Pass was really easy
Taking out a Day Pass was really easy. As was entering the gym - the instructions how to do so straightforward. The manager on duty was helpful and friendly. The equipment clean and well maintained. Shame about the water problem. But I didn't need to shower and the public toilets are only a few steps from the gym, so didn't present me with a problem on this occasion.
