The equipment is new and varied. The PTs and managers are very friendly and the classes are great.
The music through the classes is fab: a special shout out to Sonny, Curtis and Bella. All the PTs encourage you to do your best. I always come away from the gym feeling great.

New
Standards in decline/ toilet rolls on the floor- toilet roll dispensers damaged for months-a year/ gents toilet poor and unhealthy air ventilation/ hand wash basin stinks ran and urinals are appalling. Must say that members play a big factor- on standards that are heavily damaged by a group of members but still management don’t do anything about it. So I’m not longer attending there

The gym was clean. Although busy, there was enough equipment for everyone to use

Good gym great friendly knowledgeable staff. Really good classes. Although I wish there were more 45 minute classes. My only issue. That aside, the Brentford gym is excellent

I love coming to this gym(mornings Only !!) but what the heck is going on with the air-con ?
Its so hot in there. I overheard a PT telling her client that it wasn't working properly. Is this true? If so you should at least warn people ! especially last week during the heat wave. Please get this sorted asap. It must be a breach of health and safety rules.

Went to the Warrington branch, as usual. The new layout is nice, much less complicated than before. The app is also very informative.

Having been with Pure Gym at Park Royal for ohhhh so many years and seen a lot of changes I write because I believe they are finally listening to us ... the clients!! I love the pump, circuits and core classes, I wish they were 45 to 1 hour long as anything less isn't quite enough!! Rhian, ibz, Patrice,Domenika and Mo make sure you're glowing at the end of their classes ... lots of fun and hard work!! Let it be said the facilities are good and the space is great, it's a fantastic gym without the frills so if you want a sauna, you need to go somewhere else!!

Had a train glutes class with Oana and ended up doing her BURN class straight after. She was so friendly and informative and really helped set us up for our first visit to the gym.

I was being charged and emailed Pure Gym member services when i noticed the fund was being taken out of account by mistake so they emailed me back the next day to let me know that i will get that money refunded back into my account.

PureGym Scunthorpe.
First time I've stepped into a gym in years! Told Sam, who did my induction, I was a little anxious as I'm not a fan of busy places and he was very supportive, and took his time to show me around. Reassuring me and made me feel at ease.
Looking forward now to a new journey, of being healthier and fitter.

First day of my membership waiting for a bench press. Couldn't get on as the person using it was busy on his phone. After a few more unsuccessful attempts on other equipment gave up in disgust. People on their phones taking selfies etc. Don't recommend at all.

I’ve visited a couple sites up and down the uk, more frequently Sunderland.
This place will live on fondly with me, as it was my first ever gym I joined as a member, and I learnt my trade, so to speak, and built my knowledge for training here.
There is plenty of space, a high quantity of machines and equipment, and the 24/7 aspect and low prices at the time made it very accessible and affordable, an excellent place for beginners to start their training.
However, I must say, as I’ve grown older and more experienced, I now train at a privately ran gym and noticed some stark differences.
Firstly I would say although puregym offers a vast quantity of machines, I’ve noticed these matrix machines used in commercial gyms, lack a decent range of motion, feel rather ropey, and become frequently damaged and need repair, and I’ve never seen pure gym update their equipment and bring in new state of the art machines, which for me limits the progress that can be made and does not provide the enjoyability factor, higher calibre equipment does.
Also, the gym can get packed to the rim, which is fine, especially at peak times, however, there needs to be more strictness when it comes to 3/4/ even 5 people (mainly bairns who’ve just finished school or college) hogging a machine or bench and hardly using it, and deciding to treat these machines like they’re a booth in the maccies across the road with their heads buried in their phones, and also, every machine either has a unholy amount of weight left on the bar, or plates are scattered on the floor as if it were mine field.
All in all, it’s a very good gym for beginners, and people who like to take classes/ do their cardio, and is relatively cheap and accessible due to the opening time, however, if you are an intermediate to experienced lifter, I feel the quality and diversity of the equipment the gym offers does dwindle, in comparison to other gyms, and the overcrowded mess and poor gym etiquette doesn’t help the experience.

Great gym and even better since the refurb. The women's workout space is really well equipped and the functional area has been improved and made bigger. Lots of shiny, new equipment! But the best bit about this gym is the staff. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I wouldn't go anywhere else. 5 stars!!

Is very good installations but I think they need someone to be more aware of the new people
