Needs improvement

Toilet facilities - appalling . Constant issues with blocked toilets , sinks , sewage issues , missing toilet seat in one of the cubicles - not fixed for months .

Please invest in tissues and paper towels
Please invest in tissues and vending paper towels. This gym never ever has paper or tissue or anything available to wipe surfaces or your sweat!
Absolute unhygienic.
Now considering joining another gym as the place never has any tissue or pepper towels to wipe anything down!

PureGym prides itself on being able to offer state of the art fitness facilities to our members in a safe and welcoming environment. We developed industry-leading cleaning and hygiene protocols to help keep our members and employees safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, however, with the reduced risk and in line with the Government’s ending of legal restrictions, we have decided to remove self-cleaning stations in our gyms, which will also support our sustainability objectives by reducing our paper towel waste. We’re proud to say that many of the protocols implemented during lockdown, such as frequent and regular cleaning, and improvements to our air ventilation systems, will continue to be a core part of our TrainSafe Commitment.
With the reduced risk & in line with the Government’s ending of legal restrictions, we have decided to remove self-cleaning stations in our gyms, which will support our sustainability objectives by reducing our paper towel waste. The gym will still be frequently deep cleaned.
If ypu have any concerns, we would advise raising these with the Gym Manager.

Looking to move on now been here for 5 months and the locker situation in the dressing room has not been addressed. Also been on 3 occasions and no blue roll to wipe down your machine. I'm done.

Have used this company twice for my son's membership and found them so great to deal with. Stress free during set up and cancellation procedures which is so refreshing. Highly recommend.

I've had a great experience training…
I've had a great experience training with Sinan. He is professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about his clients' progress. What I appreciate most is that he takes the time to explain every movement in detail, making sure exercises are performed correctly and safely. His instructions are always clear, and he's very attentive to individual needs and goals.
Beyond his expertise, he's also friendly, approachable, and creates a comfortable training environment.

Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken. We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. If you have any concerns about equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can.

God awful clientele
God awful clientele, exclusively full of doctors and engineers that don’t understand basic human etiquette, equipment is decent, PTs are alright, some of them are daft.

We don't have pools/saunas etc. as standard in our gyms as our focus is on providing quality fitness equipment while keeping costs affordable for all members. Please be aware due to the situation of our gyms it isn't always possible to extend the site itself, however, we are always looking to expand and improve our facilities where possible so any additional feedback is always appreciated! Have been using this gym for a little…
Have been using this gym for a little while now and I'm really happy I chose this one. The staff are great but I'm especially happy when I see Simon on shift as he's helpful without being patronising (great for an older lady like me) and doesn't make it feel like it's too hard, just a really nice guy. The place is always clean and tidy, sometimes it's a bit busy but I never have to wait long for anything.

No stars would be great
No stars would be great. I tried to register my car when I got to the gym the computer was down .I recieved a fine through the post today.i complained to them and they told me to sort it out and said good luck with your appeal.even though the gym collaborate with the car parking company and it is their responsibility to get the fine dropped.they asked for my details to sort this out and then tell me to do it.they are a disgrace. They have lost a customer.

The car park is operated by a third party company in which we do not have any affiliation with. Therefore, we are unfortunately unable to cancel such tickets.
Information regarding parking is available on the home page of any PureGym which offers parking. The correct parking procedures must be followed, to avoid a parking ticket.
Our Member Services team has advised the best course of action to appeal the fine and explain the circumstances, so please reach out to the email we provided so we can send you across an appeal document. This is an official letter from PureGym Head Office, stating that you are a member of PureGym and your attendance log for the date in question. This will also be provided as proof to show you were in the gym.
As advised, if your appeal is rejected, we would suggest submitting a case with POPLA. POPLA are an independent appeals process which works with the Ombudsman Service. They investigate whether this fine was issued correctly in accordance with the terms and condition of the car park; whilst reviewing evidence provided in the appeal. On the rejection notice, there should be a 10-digit verification code, and you will then be able to submit an appeal with POPLA via their website: http://www.popla.co.uk/poplaappealprocess.
As we are not affiliated with the car park, we cannot guarantee they will cancel the fine, but we do hope for a positive outcome. If there is anything else we can help with in the meantime, please get back in touch with our team and they'll be happy to discuss this further. Thanks, PureGym.
