Disgraceful lack of disabled access.
Am disabled and use a car adapted for transporting a mobility scooter.
Attempted to park at Waterloo Street Glasgow Car Psrk for an overnight stay at nearby hotel but no signage to any disabled parking bays. So parked on level one near lift and unloaded scooter only to find lift so tiny that scooter probably would not fit - not that we could even try to get it in as one of the two lifts was out of order and the only working lift was impossible to manoeuvre the scooter into owing to the lack of space. Their website says they have two disabled spaces and 660 other spaces.
Needless to day we left in disgust but it cost us nearly £3 to discover that this place is impossible for disabled access.
This is probably unlawful under the 2010 Equality Act assuming it applies in Scotland. Q Car Parks obviously don’t think it applies to them nor do they care about disabled customers. Totally appalled!

I’ve only given Q Park one star as zero stars wasn’t an option!
After using Q Park for business around the country as a first choice for my parking for years I made a bad mistake when I used the Q Park in Cardiff bay last Saturday and Sunday whilst on a motorbike tour with two other bikes.
We made a point of parking all three motorbikes in one parking bay but were still told by the man over the tannoy on the ticket machine that we would have to still pay for three spaces.
So we basically had to pay the same as three separate cars when we only took up one space.
I emailed Q Park customer services upon my return but was knocked back once again.
Poor show Q Park.
That’s three business customers who drive all over the country from Monday to Friday who will no longer be using your car parks.
Shocking
Shocking - don’t use. We parked at the Sheffield one. Picked up a friend from the station. Was back within 15 minutes.
The doors to the car park wouldn’t open. There were about 8 of us all trying to get in to get our cars.
Called Customer Services. No answer and 8 hours later I still haven’t had a call back. Messaged them on Facebook no reply. In the end we had to get a passing motorist to drive towards the barriers and open them so we could get in. Then we were charged for the parking as we were more than 30 minutes - because we we were stuck outside car park. Terrible customer service. Will never park there again.

I can’t thank the lovely staff at Musgrove Park Hospital Q-Park enough. They went above and beyond with helping me yesterday at a difficult time. They offered to look after my puppy, so I could use the bathroom facilities inside whilst waiting for my mum to return from visiting my Dad. They also offered him water and shade. Thank you so much, it was heartwarming x
Q-Park Queens Square
Q-Park Queens Square, Liverpool
I must write to thank Ste-G at Liverpool's Queen Square Q-Park. I parked there for two hours on a Thursday night. I met a friend who lent me an expensive book from his personal library. I paid for the parking by card and forgot to pick up the book from on top of the pay machine. The next day, Friday, I phoned haeadquarters in London, who gave me the relevant number. I explained my dilemma to Ste-G, who went out of his way to find the book and arranged to return it to me that very day. I owe him ny grateful thanks for saving me some expense and substantial embarrassment. He was unbelievably helpful and in my opinion weny over and above his role to do all he could to solve my problem. He is a credit to the company and Q-Parks have gone up in my estimation. Ste-G has proved it is not a faceless organisation, but one which genuinely seeks to serve its clients. Well done and a thousand thanks to Ste-G!!!
Pre-booked a parking space at Shambles…
Pre-booked a parking space at Shambles York for bank holiday weekend. I discovered that pre-booking does not guarantee a place. Spoke to customer service on a chat, but I was still unable to book a vip place to guarantee us a spot. The option was not available on any of the 3 devices I tried on. So we arrived, and duly found the car park was at capacity. Had to wait for someone to come and exit the car park to use their space. The real fun came upon leaving. We entered the ticket to the payment machine, and was told it would be £19. We were then supposed to scan the barcode on the pre-booking confirmation email for payment. Attempted to scan the bar code everywhere on the payment machine to no avail. Pressed the assistance button. By this time the queue of people wanting to exit was building up. Still no response from the assistance button. By this point I was left with no other option to pay £19 AGAIN. At this point (after payment) someone came through the speaker, saying they were very busy so couldn’t answer sooner. So I’ve now got to attempt to get my payment refunded. Question for Qpark, why do you take peoples pre-bookings if you cannot guarantee them a parking place, unless they use the vip option, at further expense? Don’t suppose I’ll get a reply from them……

Always use this car park but 2 weeks ago parked for 45 minutes got back car lost my ticket my mistake accidents do happy but lady who spoke to customer service skills were zero horrible no help wotsoever very rude .I had to pay £19 for full day god help if young girl or old women needed help absolutely disgusting be kind .........
deceitful tariffs - dishonest charges
In their site it says that "A Resident Season Ticket is the same as our Unlimited Season Ticket, but residents receive 50% off the Season Ticket price." Yet, when buying there is absolutely no 50% off the price of the Season Ticket. IT IS THE SAME! Checked with Oxford Street and Harley Street. Are you deceiving customers? Has anyone made a complaint?
Terrible service, OK car park.
Payment processing fails with no indication of whether or not payment has been taken. No email updates arrive. Live chat deny any problem and just suggest you turn up and pay premium price. No obvious contact number for a distance selling company. Obscure payment processor I have never heard of. A shame because the actual car park is OK.
Shocking
Shocking. No help. Contact centre only open until 5pm, says 24/7 live chat on website but there is no such thing. Will avoid ever parking in a Q-Park ever again.
Worse company I have ever dealt with
Worse company I have ever dealt with. Utterly appalling! I paid for a 3 month parking but then covid happened and were put into lockdown on March 23 2020. No one saw covid ever happening. They froze my parking as I will not be using it due to covid and I had to work from home now. I contacted them to say, I don’t know when I will be in the office again I want a refund. They owed me just under £300. They took me round the houses for months and refused to refund me. Not helpful at all and just awful service as they couldn’t even workout who I needed to speak to get my refund. Finally a finance department refused to refund as apparently covid and lockdown happening was my fault! Till this day, I can’t understand how an event like covid and lockdown could have been predicted that meant I would never ever get my money back. So many companies were understanding of this unforeseen circumstance but this company no. Absolute disgrace of a company. Lining their pockets. Thieves!!! I would be ashamed to work for a scamming company like this. Shame on all of them.
Absolutely disgusting customer…
Absolutely disgusting customer service!! Parked at the Sheffield car park across from the Children's Hospital today. I was at the hospital just over an hour and unfortunately during this time, I somehow lost my parking ticket.
I explained this to Rick who was working in the car park office who told me to contact customer service via the pay machine. When I did this I was told that I needed to pay for the full 24 hours at a cost of £16!! I find this shocking that you cannot pay for the actual usage of the car park when there are camera's monitoring you arriving and leaving. I refused to pay this as I thought it was an absolute joke and when I tried to explain this to Rick, he was vile! No customer service skills at all, he was very rude and did not help causing me to become very angry. The woman I spoke to on the phone at customer services was also very rude, I had absolutely no respect for either of them as their attitudes were appalling towards me.
This happened just after half 2 and I explained that I needed to get to my child at school for 3pm and they had no interest in letting me out until I paid the £16. I even had 3 very kind people (customers) offering to pay for the ticket as they were also disgusted at the service I was receiving. They could not believe that I was not allowed to just pay for the hour parking I used to be able to get back to my child at school in time. But instead they would rather have an innocent child be left on their own for the sake of being greedy for money!
I ended having to pay the full amount but the only reason I did was due to my child needing collecting from school, otherwise I would have refused point blank.
I think especially during these current circumstances with Covid, they could be a little more respectful and actually understand that people are struggling financially.
I would never use this car park or any other Q car parks again! Just a money grabbing company and judging by the amount of negative comments, I hope that you lose alot of customers!!
Oh and also, how often are you supposed to sanitise the machines? During the time I was trapped in the car park I saw a large number of people using the machines and they were not being sanitised at all even though it had a sticker on the machines saying they were being sanitised? Disgusting place aswell as disgusting employees!!
Absolutely DISGUSTING company
Absolutely DISGUSTING company. £40 ‘special offer’ for 5 hours parking, which I did not use due to ill health, and they are flat out refusing a refund as I’ve requested it a little more than 24 hours after the parking time.
Their car parks Monitor vehicle registrations coming in and out. They KNOW I wasn’t there, yet still will not refund me?! They are thieves!
Avoid!
Royal liverpool hospital
A very good and clean carpark, no issues. Only problem is people inside and outside the building begging.
Don’t recommend it
Don’t recommend it, Their customer service is awful, they don’t respect customers, very rude. I had my seasonal ticket for a quarter and talk to them by phone transferred the money by phone when I got the ticket I couldn’t use it on Saturday. I explained to them but they didn’t changed the date.
Stuck at Q-Park edinburgh for 40 minutes.
20 cars stuck at the car park at Omni centre Edinburgh car park. I was there for 40 minutes. Problems with barrier machines swallowing tickets. Various people called the operators but barriers would not be opened, police eventually called and barriers were then opened somehow. I never enquired what the problem was in my haste to escape a terrible experience. I will never use a Q-Park car park ever again.
Fantastic experience would recommended
Arrive a Q park, get a ticket. Done.
Get car in valeting space. Done.
Left ticket in THE MIDDLE of the dash. Done.
Pay valet guys. Done.
Get ticket to pay. Henry the hoover swallowed it.
Go up to level 3, “ya bois Henry the hoover swiped pass mate, lemme out”.
The delightful woman, “ i'm sorry to hear that Henry sucked your pass yeah i actually am like obviously i'm i'm going to be upset about that init yeah and Mike, you know the only thing is yeah is that no one can force me to be your mate or anything yeah and i don't want to be mates with you alright”
Pay £19 to leave. Done.
Awful!!!
Awful!!!! Supposed to be secure it’s not! I called them on their buzzer and a lady from Leeds would you believe, answered. I told her the parking lot is not secure at all! The pedestrian entrance and exit did NOT lock. Nor was there an attendant as per the webpage said. Moreover they charged us money just to exit!!!! After we paid online!!! Do not trust this company!
