Blatant Disregard for PC Players and Anti-Consumer Platform Favoritism
Rockstar Games continues to demonstrate a negligent and exploitative attitude toward the PC community. The decision to delay GTA 6 and then further postpone the PC version indefinitely is a transparent tactic to force sales on inferior console hardware.
Their history of collusion with Sony (PlayStation) is well-documented and deeply problematic. From the premature termination of GTA Online services on older generations like the PS3 to the current gatekeeping of the "Enhanced" features, it is clear they prioritize opaque corporate deals over their actual player base.
Forcing players who already own high-end PCs to purchase a PS5 just to play their latest title is an insult to the community's intelligence. Given their track record, it is highly likely they will abandon current services again as soon as the PS6 arrives, just as they did with the PS3. Rockstar is no longer a developer that values its fans; they are a company that hides behind hardware exclusivity to maximize profit at the expense of consumer choice.
Absolutely horrible
Absolutely horrible. I purchased a Rockstar Games game via Steam and apparently my Steam account is linked with a Rockstar account that I can't remember. Any attempt with more that 6 agents from Rockstar Games failed because they belief that I am not the owner. What proof other than my purchase that I can proof and my Steam account detail do they need??? They are absolute crooks. Their responses are generic, no willingness to really solve the problem. Now I have an account that I can't access. At least I was able to get a refund from Steam. I am avoiding this company at all cost. Never again.

Terrible. Can't change my email, Cant create a new account. You buy the game once and end up having to buy it again. They make you install more crap just to play their games, then they slap you in the face by not even allowing you to play them. This is one of the main reasons why I start playing the game and uninstall it after the 30 minute boring introduction of gtav, Or spending an hour riding around on a horse in red dead tapping A ALL DAY. Purchased gta5, the launcher wants me to log into old email address I had years ago that I have no access to. Even tho I purchased it with a different email address. Go to support, get nowhere, 7 attempts try to explain no use just a resolved from them with no resolution. So I requested a refund and got it now they will no longer get my business but by the reviews here looks like they don't give a s$#+ or maybe have a non automated support system and actually take care of paying customers.

The sad story is that they did make some of the most wonderful games ever. But their problem solving leg is non existing, horrible and the worst ever. No matter what your problem is, their suggestion basically is to address everyone else's problems (network, wifi, computer hartdware, software, security etc) causing this problem and if that did not solve the problem (of course not bacuse everything else is running fine!!!) they suggest to switch off an on. Contect with solution department is impossible unless youre looking for bogus answers.

Title: 13.5 Hours of Support Hell: 6 "Tier 2" Agents, Zero Solutions.
Review: Do not waste your money on Rockstar Games products. I spent 13.5 hours trying to fix a memory access error (0xc0000005) in their broken Launcher. I provided absolute proof that my PC is in perfect condition:
GTA V runs flawlessly on this same machine, proving my hardware is fine.
DISM and SFC scans are 100% clean, proving my Windows OS is healthy.
NVIDIA drivers are updated to the latest version (591.86).
Despite these facts, I was passed around between SIX different "Tier 2" agents: Brook P., Milo S., Russell V., Yong H., Jose R., and Hannah J..
These employees are utterly incompetent. Instead of addressing the actual software bug, they wasted my time for days with scripted, nonsense advice like:
"Try a different Wi-Fi" for a memory crash.
"Scan for viruses".
"Buy or find another PC to test the game on".
This is the worst customer service experience of my life. These agents get paid to copy-paste scripts and ignore customer logs. Avoid this company at all costs. I am getting a refund and switching to cracked versions because Rockstar's official software is garbage.
This company is a joke
This company is a joke. Their support team doesn’t even bother reading your tickets before marking them as 'Resolved.' I am stuck in a loop because my account is on 'Pending Deletion,' which means I physically CANNOT log in. Yet, these idiots keep telling me to log in to submit a request.
How can I log in to an account that is locked for deletion? Use your goddamn brains! They ignore the facts, ignore the screenshots, and give you canned robotic responses. It is the most pathetic excuse for 'customer service' I have ever encountered. Fix your broken system and hire people who actually know how to read.
Rockstar Games is no longer the same
It's unbelievable to me how such a legendary company can't maintain order. They start creating new things, they haven't been able to fix games that have been around for a long time, and they just leave everything like that, so the next projects they are developing will work half-heartedly? And there will be many inconsistencies like now? How can you want to play a game that doesn't work half-heartedly, and they'll even officially announce it and leave it. Because of things like this, I generally want to cut off any related connections with Rockstar Games.. fix what's there first, before starting new projects.. Only children do this, and even those same children wouldn't leave it like that. You manage such sums. Are these the jobs of adults? I can't believe how so many things can not work.. not to mention games like GTA5, it's even impossible to log into your account right now. I don't think I'd spend more than one euro on half-working games.

You would think after 13 years and countless updates as well as canceling updates for other games (rdr2) in order to make more GTA V content that the game would play some what smooth but it plays like I’m being dragged over a coral reef by a speed boat. I just switched from xbox one to X/S and have had more issues with this game than any game over ever played from being spotted when nothing was there to spot to having over 30 enemies spawn inside structures and just shoot me from impossible angles. I am truly dreading GTA VI because if this is what they can accomplish after 13 years then I can’t fathom the trash they are going to throw together for the next game and how buggy and unplayable it will come out like.

well after alot of back and forward then rockstar deciding to block me from making another support ticket here we are. i have lost access to a email address i used for 2fa and my microsoft 2fa app did not have cloud backups enabled by default. i have lost a account i have had since 2014 because there support is completely unhelpful with automated responses and lack of understanding the issue. microsoft cannot recover the secret key for the account so now i have lost everything on that account.

Customer support worse than development
I lost my gmail and submitted several tickets to Rockstar to recover the rockstar account so I could play. Their employees mark every ticket as 'solved' after each time they reply to you.
I asked to atleast unlink it from my steam account as I couldn't , having no access to my old email/rockstar account and told me to go to google support as if I hadn't already.
They are not interested in fixing BUGS or helping the players
They are not interested in fixing BUGS and certainly they are not interested in having a proper Customer Support Service.
My gmail account was compromised, resolved and un-linked my account with the EA Support in 35 minutes, Rockstar can't do anything because, we do not know how to un-link an account, keep our Development Team or fix any bugs.
Another disappointment with Rockstar, apart from us falling through the game map in RDR2 and GTA V so many years after release.
Bonus points, the GTA V Diamond Casino heist still has its release date bugs and we are all going to d. from old age until GTA VI will be released.

As a console player myself, people having problems on this company, i really barely had problems with, as the PC players experience.. What ever tf ive been seeing from my friends, flying tanks or whatever clips they have been sending me from hackers. On top of that, on console servers, I once installed the PS5 version of the game, but the one dumb thing that ive had is was that my friend could only have the PS4 version, and when i thought it would be normal, it wouldnt allow my dumbass to join them because of the PS4 version hes on, but since we are BOTH ON PLAYSTATION 5s, I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE NORMAL TO JOIN HIS SERVER TILL I REALIZED I HAD TO BUY THE PS4 VERSION I NEVER HAD. So i paid for it, and we both got in the serve- OH WAIT ALL MY PROGRESS IS RESETTED? SO I GOTTA MAKE A NEW CHARACTER AND SO IS MY RANK? I LOVE HOW THIS DAMN SYSTEM WORKS! THE ONE THING IS THAT RAINBOW SIX SIEGE X SOLVED THIS TYPE OF ISSUE WHEREAS IF YOU HAVE A PS4 BUT YOUR FRIEND HAS THE PS5 VERSION YOU CAN BOTH STILL JOIN EACHOTHER. But in general, the games fine, the other problem i have, RDR1 Online exclusive to older consoles, now, not only this is kinda dumb, BUT EVER SINCE THEY PUT RDR1 ON THE PS PLUS CATALOUGE THEY NEVER BROUGHT ONLINE INTO NEW-GEN CONSOLES LIKE THE PS4 (which is technically not new-gen, id say in the middle) AND PS5. And RDR2 Online, they kind of stopped updates now, only just major ones, they barely even update the game and only have their money on GTA Online, but since most players are playing RDR2 and Online, they still have barely updated the game. The company is slightly bad, the games are amazing, and the service? Its not good, but isnt completely bad.

I was locked out of my account because 2FA was set up on a Chrome extension. Rockstar’s “forgot my 2FA” option is useless, support refuses to verify my account even though I have full proof of ownership via Steam (reciepts, etc), and their system blocked me from submitting tickets and auto resolve after a bot answer. Absolutely terrible customer support completely frustrating and broken. Even Xbox/Microsoft has better support than this, and that’s saying something

I have been playing their games sins 2013, some litle idiot, hacked the account and changed the details, but couldnt get into my PSN account, The support website, email and phone numbers are useless and I am unable to access my acount.
