Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 192 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers expressed extreme dissatisfaction with the customer service, describing it as the worst they had ever encountered. They frequently reported being stuck in automated loops, unable to reach a real person, and receiving unhelpful, generic responses that did not address their specific issues. Reviewers also faced significant problems with account recovery, especially when old email addresses were no longer accessible, leading to a loss of access to purchased games and content. Some even reported being blocked from submitting further support tickets after repeated attempts to resolve their problems. Conversely, a small portion of people felt satisfied with the support, noting quick and effective resolutions to their account issues. However, some customers also noted ongoing bugs and a lack of updates for certain games, particularly regarding online features and cross-platform compatibility.

Rockstar games is the worst video game …

Rockstar games is the worst video game company around. They don't fix gaming issues in a timely manner. When you report greifers it appears they do nothing about it. They've also closed down tickets while still in the seven day window.

Would give 0 stars if I could

Would give 0 stars if I could. They have made me troubleshoot my system a dozen times when the problem lies in their servers. They beat around the bush as much as they can with pre-filled quotes and “troubleshooting” when it has nothing to do with your problem

Been playing this game since the…

Been playing this game since the release. Had a clean player record every single day since. Never once modded, cheated or griefed not one day since I had the game. I literally just try to finish everything on the game and own everything. Haven't played since like 2022. Finally got back on the game to buy all the new stuff and complete that too. These DHs throws me in modded lobby after modded lobby. Then after a week of minding my business and grinding up millions through my agency and night club to buy a mansion and all of the new businesses. They zap my entire account to zero and claim the dont know what happened. This is what you get from rockstar for being a clean player. Now I see why so many people just say fk you and cheat and ruin the game. Rockstar will eventually ruin it for you if bad players dont.

My account is recorded, documented and dated. So not if but when you do retaliate. I will sue for that too. Cause im definitely contacting the CFPB and BBB about the data breach that caused this. And im most definitely taking legal action. As a paying customer and consumer. 👍🏾

I am giving this one star review…

I am giving this one star review because I just bought GTA online thinking it will be very fun. I waited four hours for it to download and then it says I need to buy it. I already spent $17 on the game and it wants me to spend another $17 to get the game. I want my money back rockstar. I can’t even play the game. This sucks.

customer dis service

I purchased a megalodon card. It never showed up in my account. I tried to log in to submit a ticket. I cannot access my account. I keep submitting account recovery requests I keep getting automated responses. My requests are denied. i keep trying to escalate this. I have 90 dollars just floating out there and they keep resolving the ticket on their side. That is straight up theft. Worst customer service ever.

Horrendous Support

Their support system is truly one of the worst out there. They only will send you automated bot responses or even just flat out ignore you if what you need can't be solved by a kindergartener.

Customer support ignores you

I have had a customer support ticket go unanswered for over a month now, trying to resolve a technical issue that renders one of their very expensive games completely unplayable. It's been a month since their last response, and the game has been unplayable for almost two months.

Rockstar support is awful

Rockstar support is awful. Tyree B (Tier 2) is very unhelpful. Canned responses. Wants you to send in “proof” of issues they are well aware of, knowing you cannot duplicate them. Most likely bots, and not real people. They don’t care if you’re a GTA+ member, either.

Rockstar’s GTA 6 Delays Are Out of…

Rockstar’s GTA 6 Delays Are Out of Control

I, along with millions of other fans, am beyond frustrated with Rockstar over the constant delays of Grand Theft Auto 6. Every new release date announcement seems to get pushed back, leaving fans stuck in endless waiting. The excitement and hype Rockstar builds up only to be disappointed repeatedly feels disrespectful to their community.

It’s not just me—so many people around the world have been following trailers, pre-ordering the game, and planning for its release, and these repeated delays are affecting everyone’s trust and patience. Communication about the delays has been vague and sometimes feels like empty promises, which only fuels frustration.

I understand game development is complicated, but this pattern of postponement makes it feel like Rockstar is ignoring the millions of fans who care about GTA 6. The company needs to provide realistic timelines and transparent updates if they want to maintain their reputation and the loyalty of their community. I have a record and can’t find a job and my plan for 2026 was to play this game while I am unemployed. They ruined that plan. I am already old. How much older do I have to get before this game gets released. One of the most successful companies don’t know how to meet deadlines.

Worst support ever

Rockstar has by far the worst support in the entire gaming world.
I have been trying for a long time to recover my account, but I always get the same message saying that I could not be verified, and then the ticket is closed. Always the same response.
Instead of taking a short amount of time to do the job they are paid for and actually provide proper support by explaining what information is missing for verification, they just close the tickets. You can’t even reply to the messages because they close the tickets immediately.
Really bad support.

Absolute IMPORTANT shitfest

Absolute shit support. No help, whatsoever i tried to get back my stolen game which had the hackers email connected to it. LONG story short 13 tickets later and 2 new copies of gta later, deleting it off your steam and repurchasing it is not going to fix this problem. (THANK YOU ROCKSTAR FOR THE CLEAR HEADS UP AND NONEXISTENT REFUND! 🤣)DO NOT BUY A NEW COPY OF THE GAME IT WONT WORK!!! Turns out their spineless support workers (and bots) biggest, most successful job they accomplish doing is press the "resolved" button.....

What makes this whole thing truly pathetic isn’t that my account got hacked — that happens everywhere. What’s pathetic is a billion-dollar company pretending that clear proof of ownership means nothing, while an email changed by a hacker suddenly means everything. Steam purchase history, activation key, "all info i can remember to prove ownership", all ignored — while a compromised Social Club email is treated as the sacred law
This isn’t a support system. It’s a deflection system that exhaust players until they give up or buy the game again. Judging by how fast tickets get auto-closed as “resolved" I genuinely get the feel their goal isn’t to help, it's a shady way of reducing workload and liability. Rockstar can fix this. They choose not to. So if Rockstar isn't ashamed by this, I definitely was.

So to anyone reading this: do not rebuy the game, do not reinstall, and don’t expect any logic to apply. Once your Social Club is hijacked, Rockstar’s stance is simple — you’re no longer the customer, you’re the problem. And that’s not incompetence. That’s policy.

THEY CAN HELP YOU, BUT THEY JUST WONT..Honestly I never do reviews really but this one amazed me too much to let go.

Rockstar Games lost a fan

Two Words Shark Cards
I Don't want to buy GTA 6 anymore.

both Grand theft auto online and red dead online are not safe to play and can find your own home address is a breach of privacy to your safety thanks to little bride told me. So I am happy that I don't have to tolerate their tomfoolery Rockstar is doing over there anymore!

Not calling myself a rockstar fanboy after that, I hate the before gta 6 meme, and I remember games that were delayed like no man's sky, cyberpunk 2077 and other games that would eventually get bad reviews after being delayed and delayed over and over again. Also grifters are now telling me that Gta 6 would suck, because they based their lives in politics and being grifters saying GTA 6 is woke with a female protagionst, but who the hell they have the right to say garabage to gta fans before its comes out, and female protagonists are not destroying the game industry.

2016 is a bad year. not a good year

GTA ONLINE SUCKS

GTA ONLINE SUCKS. developers are a bunch of cucks. $3,000,000 buying and upgrading your delivery vehicle for your business, that is required to run your business btw, and it still has 0 traction and a max speed of like 65mph? there are no good cars for under $2,000,000? civilians constantly intentionally crashing in to you and destroying your car. the gps routes intentionally taking you past every aggressive enemy on the map every time you try to sell high value business goods… if you lose one or 2 shipments all your profit is gone with the resupplying. otherwise they make you do resupply missions that in total will take at least 2 hours and come with their own host of ridiculous ways Rockstar tries to get you to fail and just buy their in game money. nobody has the time to do all the resupply missions for every business and then also the sell missions, they know you will pay for the supplies out of convenience and lose most of your profits. then they give you multiple sell vehicles for sell missions like im going to have time to help my buddy with his missions as well. you guys absolutely suck and GTA 6 is going to be WORSE. because you have no incentive not to keep milking people dry. dont you think the psychopathic griefers, enemy combatants, multiple delivery vehicles, and enemy business owners being incentivized to destroy your shipments is enough? you still have to make every single game mechanic work against you as well? how about you make a fun game. look at your reviews. WAKE UP. you sick miserable losers. this group of developers hate their lives and hate their customers as well. Boycott Rockstar NOBODY BUY GTA 6. ROCKSTAR NEEDS TO LEARN TO START SERVING THEIR CUSTOMERS INSTEAD OF PUNISHING THEM FOR PLAYING THEIR GAMES.
