I used Scraye as a landlord for a flat I used to rent through another agency because they offered a much better deal and I’ve been amazed by how seamless the experience has been so far. They found new tenants really quickly and took care of everything A to Z and made everything so easy (even though we know nothing is when it comes to renting a flat!). Scraye has a modern approach to real estate that is really enjoyable (booking viewings directly online, 3D flat tours,…). I just handed them over a second flat because I really trust them.

I booked a property viewing with them. I submitted an offer that same day, which was accepted, and paid a deposit so the property could no longer be advertised or viewed. Completed the referencing form accordingly and received confirmation that everyone has completed their referencing and their team is working hard to review all the details. Everything seemed to be fine, just formal checks, but that was not the case. For one week, I received daily emails with the same text that the details were still in the review process. Finally, after a week and after several inquiries regarding the process, I received a message saying that the property had an issue and it is not available anymore. This was the first time since I am living in London to have such an experience. I received my deposit back but it was completely disappointing and I wasted one week.

As a student I used the flexible rent service and I would definitely recommend it ! The whole group in scraye was very supportive and helped me in a prompt way so that I could move in on the date I was planning. They solved any doubt I had and where very professional. Would definitely use again this service !

Two days ago we found a flat we loved, booked a viewing, made an offer, had it accepted and paid the holding deposit of £1200. Before paying, to be 100% sure of the process (which seemed to good to be true), we asked lots of questions to the agent that always answered that she was busy and couldn’t answer. We decided to proceed anyways. Two hours after we paid the holding deposit, the agent told us she regretted to tell us that our offer was cancelled as there was a better one. So while we were asking her questions about the payment, and she was ignoring us allegedly in a meeting, she was in reality setting the terms for an other offer. Of course, she conveniently waited for us to pay the deposit before informing us. (We saw afterwards the offer had been accepted in the moments we were paying)

Looking on Scraye later, I saw a third offer had been accepted and that the ad was now added to another rental website and was still up on Scraye - even after several offers had been accepted. A holding deposit is supposed to entail the removal of the ad, to secure the flat off the market for potential tenants, this one did no such thing.. These people are crooks!!!!!! The system allows for indefinite offers to be accepted and indefinite deposits to be debited until they get an astronomical, absurd offer. Moreover, the initial acceptance offer said our offer would be protected for 24hours - which obviously was no respected.

I am disgusted by this process and treatment. The agent, as expected, stopped responding to our calls and messages and we don’t even know when we will get refunded. The Scraye Team of course is impossible to get on the phone.
