Solid Rock IT were friendly and highly professional in addressing the issues I had with retrieving back up data and upgrading my MacBook hard drive. I would highly recommend them.

My 5 year old iMac was showing the question mark folder of doom, and after 2 hours on the phone with Mac support failed to fix it, I called SolidRock IT for help. They very kindly listened to my problem and sent out an engineer the next day who replaced the old hard drive with a new one and installed the latest operating system. My desktop is like new and at a fraction of the cost, time and hassle it would have taken to transport it to an Apple store in central London and have it fixed there! Highly recommended

Solid Rock have done a great job for me on a number of occasions - most recently to configure my new macbook pro, and to transfer my files from a previous version. They are polite and responsive and competent.

We have recently received excellent service from this Company to replace a cracked screen in a high spec HP laptop. Communication throughout the process and delivery of service cannot be faulted. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Top class and friendly IT expert rescued all my data from a dying hard drive and brought my Mac back to life. Very quick response, highly recommended.

I had a very positive experience with solid rock. I had the battery replaced on my MacBook Air and software updated to big sur. Assistance was given with backing up and much patient advice on how to operate the computer. I will definitely use again for any computer issues. I have also used them in the past to check my computer when water fell on the keyboard and it stopped working momentarily.
I highly recommend their services.

I booked an appointment with an It specialist as my son had broken the screen on his laptop. The engineer came the next day and replaced the screen quickly and efficiently. He was helpful and friendly and I would definitely recommend Solid Rock IT

Needed replacement screen for my Surface laptop. The engineer came out promptly, and diagnosed a problem with the battery. Quick requote and he was back in a couple of days with replacement battery. All work done quickly and to high quality.

I had a home visit as I am disabled. The engineer was fantastic. He noticed the difficulties caused by my disability e.g. getting a plug out of a low socket, and kindly took over those tasks. He worked on my laptop, which had multiple issues, with dedication, focus and a mind-boggling breadth of knowledge. It was clear to me that he took great satisfaction in resolving issues by means of the highest levels of repair, restoration and new installments. He kept me informed in a friendly and very helpful way, as he went along. My laptop now works superbly, smoothly and fabulously fast. I'm extremely impressed and very glad I called this business.

I had an emergency at work ... my computer wouldn't start at all and I needed valuable data.
Solid Rocket sent a friendly engineer to me the same day, who diagnosed the fault and, thankfully, was able to get me up and running in a temporary fashion.
Within two days the engineer returned with a replacement part, my computer was repaired and I was back to normal ... and very relieved.

After months of having a hacking which was severely playing on my mind, I had the courage to contact Solid Rock IT UK. While being/humble, the engineer clearly possesses brilliant skill and understanding of tech problems, including hacking challenges like mine. The engineer systemically cracked down on the issue and we cut off back-doors the cyber-hacker would've been able to utilise to gain access to my system. The onsite engineer gave me great confidence with his abilities but was also a great laugh and socialable, unlike many in the tech world! In fact the time flew by and I previously imagined it would be a slow and painful, hard work! I'm sure in my mind the problem seemed harder to grasp than it really was but I was also certain Solid Rock IT UK was a contributory factor in the easy swift resolution!

Very happy with the service. I had my ram and hard drive upgraded as well as my front glass replaced and touchpad adjusted. The engineer was knowledgeable and friendly and made recommendations suitable for my needs. I would use solid rock again and recommend to my friends.

My 6-yr old iMac had become incredibly slow after a Big Sur upgrade even with masses of memory installed. I'd decided on a SDD swap for my old HDD, but could not face lifting the 27" monster to a shop. Looking online to see if I could do it myself I realised the answer was 'absolutely no way'!

I contacted Solid Rock via their website and they got straight back to me - and offered a next-day appointment. Their engineer arrived on time, and did an incredibly professional job, swapping out my old HDD in a surgical extraction!

The machine runs like a DREAM now, it was well worth the upgrade.

I've a really crunch period at work starting next week, and having my computer working better than box-fresh feels amazing.

Engineer was very professional and helpful .He explained the effect of the water damage thoroughly and helped me transfer data.
I was pleased with the service.

In conclusion do not put a hot water bottle near a precious computer.
