My experience from the very start was appalling from my very first call regarding my car that was under warranty and it still continues and is not resolved after 7 week. Totally disgusted having to chase continually. No customer loyalty would not recommend and will never use again.

Bought a VW Tiguan in April this year…
Bought a VW Tiguan in April this year (2026). I was assured it had been serviced very recently. After a couple of weeks the oil needed topping up. Then a fault light came on. I had it diagnosed at a local garage(£25) as an air intake issue. I really needed the car, so had the part replaced (£400+) at my usual garage.
Read the small print. Don't be confused when they mention "any VAT registered garage" when they're giving their spiel about the various add-ons and warranties.
They won't refund a penny.
Lovely sales staff (if a bit tedious with the optional extras), very poor after sales.
I'm actually glad I didn't involve them in repairs after seeing some of their other reviews on here.

I bought an Audi A6 from Sytner in Wakefield. I was told the car had had a 150 point inspection. I picked the car up from the garage and instantly the brakes on the car were grating and grinding, I phoned them up and they agreed to book the car in for remedial work. I picked the car back up to realise that the car brakes were still grinding and grating. The garage had changed the rear disks and pads but left the front grinding with disks that need replacing.
Overall the only thing they’re interested in is making as much money as possible per car sold. The after sales communication is very poor.

Extended warranty - waste of time
Extended warranty? Absolute waste of money. They make you go down to diagnose the problem and you pay £100 for that. If it’s covered by the warranty, they’ll fix it. Fine. But then, I had my car booked in, and the part wasn’t there on the day it was booked in, then they ordered it and the wrong part came, and I was without my car for a week. I had to go and get it as I needed it. Complete waste of money and fuel for a failed repair.
…But then, the issue came back. Warning light back on 2 weeks later. I then had to drive my car down AGAIN to be diagnosed, just to say “it needs coding by the manufacturer”. Couldn’t you have told me that the last time you fixed it rather than wasting my time and fuel on another “diagnostic”? So now I’ve got to pay £180+ to Mercedes for a diagnostic, and then who knows how much more, to code something they’ve fixed but they can’t complete. All the time, I’ve wasted countless amounts of fuel and time in driving to and forth from Wakefield. Don’t even waste your time or money on it. Just go straight to the manufacturer.
Just to add, I put a complaint in over a week ago, and I’ve had no response or acknowledgment. Terrible service.
