Worst customer service I’ve experienced.
I visited the Three store Gateshead Metrocentre to enquire about their deals, and the experience was extremely disappointing.
Before even generating a PAC code from my previous provider, the staff member insisted on taking all my personal details, including my bank details. I repeatedly asked him to generate the PAC code first before proceeding any further, but he insisted that it would be quicker to complete the new contract first and said it would only take a minute to get the PAC afterwards.
Unfortunately, after the contract was set up, he was unable to generate the PAC code, and I ended up wasting around 45 minutes.
I had also clearly explained from the beginning that I needed an eSIM and that I only had a photo of my ID on my phone. I was told that would be fine. However, after completing the contract, I was then informed that I could only be issued a physical SIM because they needed to see the original ID. I had to walk back to my car to retrieve it. Even after that, they were still unable to activate an eSIM.
To make matters worse, as I was leaving the store, the staff member was swearing, which I found completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
Overall, the entire process was disorganised, time-consuming, and frustrating. I regret switching from Vodafone and wish I had checked the reviews beforehand. Based on my experience, I would advise others to be cautious and make sure they fully understand the process before agreeing to a contract.
