UK Petchipregistry 

Total SCAM. Do not use. I mistakenly updated my puppys chip with this company they took £18 and set up a recurring payment. I didnt receive any confirmation or email i emailed them 4 times without any response. I since found out that this is a free service. PLEASE BEWARE

As other have noted before- this is a scam website. I was searched for another company on google and got redirected to this one instead. I paid £18 and the chip does not update at all- it also takes a subscription, so if you don't block it with your bank you'll get ripped off next year as well. I feel really stupid for falling for it.

I paid £18 per dog thinking they were registered then realised after payment had gone through that I’d set up a recurring payment! If only I’d seen other reviews before doing it. Bank have stopped any more payments to this company. I sent two emails asking for refund. Got no reply from them. Have just checked my bank account and monies has now been repaid! I will certainly make sure I don’t fall for this again!!

Why is this scam company on Google? I'm down £18 and my dog's microchip isn't registered!
I've managed to stop the reoccurring payments but I'm seriously angry that they've taken my money for nothing!!

Fell for this scam.

As others have said it is a recurring payment but you cannot cancel! When you contact the company they do not reply despite promising to do so within 24 hours.

To pay you have to go through Paypal. I received an email from Paypal to cancel the recurring payment it must be done through Petchipregistry - no chance of this. The only way my bank will stop the recurring payment is to not allow my card to accept any payments for any vet services. Disgusting that this company is still trading.

Just lost £21 to this scam, tried registering my dog thinking it was a one off payment, went through paypal and turns out to be an annual subscription. I have since cancelled my payment payments but it will still leave me down £21.00 This is a total scam, so please stay clear.

This website is a scam. I thought I was using a genuine website to register my cat's microchip but was shocked to find I had somehow set up an annual payment on Paypal and paid £18 twice. After a lot of persistence Paypal has just refunded one payment of £18.

Would give minus stars if I could!!! This is a scam company, DO NOT USE!!!!! They quickly took my £18 and set it up as a recurring annual payment through PayPal, which is not made clear when you sign up!!! It now appears they are not even registered with DEFRA in the U.K. Despite numerous messages to them asking to cancel, and them saying they reply within one working day to emails, I have had zero contact from them! AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!!!!!!!

can only give one star as there is no minus to give. A scam site, fell for it thinking I was on a genuine site and then only told afterwards that repeat payments were needed. stay clear. they do not rely to your request for repayment and cancellation.

Stay away!!! Went through paypal to pay this company to register my pets microchip, realised its an on going annual payment of £18 eventhough they state its a one off payment on their website. Cancelled straight away, re applied by mistake so have paid twice. Contacted PayPal to explain, opened a case, said my evidence is not efficient and there for can't refund until I prove different. I can't prove any differently because now Ive realised its a scam!! When you go on to the help and support option it takes you to a count down and urges you to pay again. There is no contact information to contact them. I have no confirmation/proof etc apart from trusting them and using PayPal to complete the registration. Don't fall for it like I did!!! I will be phoning paypal again to let them know this is a scam and I am so annoyed this can so easily happen when PayPal is normally the safety net between purchases online etc

Please people. Take note that this company will NOT add your pet or your details to any of the UK approved databases, they just take your money and store your pets details on their own systems. Trading standards advise against using this company.

My experience is the same as all the others - I was conned into paying £18 and have to hope my credit card company will cancel future payments. It is impossible to get a response from them.

Just fallen for this website too, thinking it was Petlog. Flags up one off payment of £18 for my dog registration and then when I clicked to pay, automatically set up a once yearly payment of £18!
Rang my bank but will have to wait for payment to leave my account before bank can set up a dispute. But by reading all the previous reviews, I'm not convinced I'll receive a refund from PayPal or to stop further yearly payments going out of my account.
Feel really stupid that I didn't look more closely at website before being scammed. Disgraceful this website is still out there.

Giving one star as I cannot give a minus scrore THIS IS A SCAM WEBSITE that pops up when I searched for legitimate Microchip fitted by my vet which has NO FEES. Why does Google allow them to get away with hijacking other businesses websites? Says "one Off" £18 to update pets address then sets up monthly subscription, does not respond to "refund within 24 hours" request. SCAM

This company charges annual £18 fee, where as it should be one off fee only.Im now trying to claim refund via paypal whom are being most unhelpful. GOOGLE equally being misleading with allowing this company to feature prominently as a reputable company.

I was given this site to change dog details on 1st June not realising wrong site and that I was going to be charged annually, so I immediately cancelled within an hour of buying , said refund within 3 to 5 days refund never came emailed the company never replied to my emails , emailed few times , asked PayPal to help they declined my refund so appealing PayPal’s decision . Looks like scam site .

Wish id seen these reviews before i got sucked into this via a google search. £18 taken with an annual fee which ive managed to cancel through paypal but am now worried they will still take my money.
No replies from any emails in regards to this. Total scammers
