Was signed up to them when actually signing a free trial with NitroFlare to download a file that didn't exist anyway (assume part of the scam). Then trying to cancel but obviously they make that impos... See more

Don't give in to their …
Don't give in to their demands...hundreds of people have been scammed by these people but their threats and bully boy tactics are toothless !!
If they ever did take anyone to court over unpaid "charges" they would certainly not win because their "contracts" are not in line with "customer protection rights" in the EU. Actually, I would be happy to see them in court as I am sure the UK anti-fraud police would also be waiting at the door if these scammers did turn up.
Ignore them...they will go away eventually.
Scam, avoid at all cost!
My contract was not cancelled as they imply and I was billed £87. When I called them (in 2 hours time after realising the payment was made) they said they can't do anything about it.
Don't pay them a penny
Don't pay them a penny. Block them and walk away. Morally repugnant scamster. Cancelled free trial via website form. No confirmation. Checked again - still signed up. Tried again. Given a phone number to cancel. Tried to call. Kept on hold then cut off. Apparently they send threatening emails after this demanding payment. I kept screenshots and call recordings to prove I attempted to cancel should it ever go legal but to be honest their reputation is so poor I would say there isn't a court in the land likely to ever rule in their favour. Dishonest, disreputable and bound for Hell
Bad service and tricky form for …
Bad service and tricky form for registration. I signed for free, cancel registration on time (because the servis is for no use) but still there is a check buton in their from which when you unchecked it, it means you automatically register to some fu...ing bad SPYOFF service which is for no use as well and you even didnt order it. And if you cancel usenet.nl on time it doesnt cancel the SPYOFF service. After that SpyOff is totally not responding and is owing me money. All goes through from of usenet.nl so they should take care of that not tell me send an email to SpyOff if SpyOff is not responding. I even dont know if service of SpyOff was canceled because they didnt reply.
Checked my bank balance today
Checked my bank balance today. I realised 1 pound was taken from my account when I looked to see who it was i found out it was usenet.nl. I have never signed up with them and still don't know how they got my bank details I'm so scared they might take more money out. Help me please ! I don't want to call them or email them and give them my details as this means they will have more info on me. I'm so disgusted. I did call my bank and ask them to stop any debit they take out in the future. Hopefully this may stop it but I'm going into the bank tomorrow and get a completely new card . Has anyone else had this same experience ?
Designed to rip you off
No wonder this company gets such bad reviews - it is designed to rip people off. Don't go near it. As has been mentioned on this review site many times, it is offers a 'free trial' that is complicated to cancel and you end up being billed even if you think you cancelled your subscription. I wish I had read all of these reviews before I ventured down the road of the 'free trial' that they now say has cost me about EUR100 because I didn't officially cancel my account. What I did do was cancel my Paypal payments one hour after signing up for the "free trial" after I realised a book that I hoped to download was actually not available. No problem: I cancelled my auto Paypal payments and thought that would be the end of it. But no. Apparently you have to explicitly notify them in writing that you are cancelling your account or they start billing you and your account starts to accumulate a debt. Nifty, huh? Like others here, there is no way I am paying these rip off merchants one cent, despite their threatening letters.
Estafa
Awful site and service, you can tell that it is a scam. I subscribed today and I have been trying to unsubscribe for hours! I did not register my credit card via paypal so I cannot cancel the payment from paypal site. However, I want to know if the payment gets cancelled if I ask for another credit card. Please let me know if anyone has done this before.
DO NOT JOIN USENET THEY ARE HORRENDOUS ! SCAMMERS !!
Shocking company ....really bad ..scammers !`m so disgusted !
If you don`t believe me just Google usenet..scam and a large amount of extremely unhappy customers will appear...
I am so annoyed that I contacted the European Consumer Centre today (simlar to citizens advice bureau) today 5th May 2017 ( it deals with foreign companies) . Unfortunately use.nl is not in the netherlands as their name implies but in San Marino which has its own laws .They could not help me because of this. It seems they (usenet) have gone from being kicked out of the US to San Marino where they are protected?! ...SCUM ! If you want a peaceful life please don`t join them ...save time ,money and sanity!
Worst company ever
I signed up for a trial account and right after that (on the same day) I cancelled it. On february 23, I asked for confirmation by their own ticketservice. I received back a e-mail that they don't support my language (Dutch) so I send back my message in English. Nothing came back.
After a few days they send me a invoice for € 83 euros. Even by phone it's not possible to get in contact with one of their workers. When you call the number, you have to press 1 for existing customers and 2 for non-existing customers. No matter what you press, the automatic voice replies that you have to press 1 for existing customers and 2 for non-existing customers.
It seems to be impossible (not possible) to cancel your account.
@ Usenet: the only way to get rid of this review is by cancel my account and your stupid invoice.
Scammers
Just another scam website where they lure you with a "free trail" but make it very difficult to unsubscribe...
Junk
A junky company that offers a dated client and likes to rope people in with swizzy billing.
14 day "free" trial offer - not "free"
Got directed to this site through another site and was informed about the 14 day trial offer. Provided debit card details and signed-up. Did not want to sign up for 1 year as I could not tell the range/quality of the movies on offer. Beware that the trial automatically renews for 99.96 EUR if you don't cancel on or before the last day of the trial. If you contact them through the usenet web portal (through email) ensure you contact them well in advance as they took around 24 hours to confirm my cancellation. I also received a message to say they are experiencing high e-mail volumes. You can telephone to cancel also, but I didn't go down this route.
The Free trial is not actually a "Free" trial. After you join, to download a movie, you need to subscribe to a "package", around 8 USD (per month?). Only then you can download. So, no idea how they advertise the product as "14 days free of charge". Anyway, they have confirmed my cancellation. Although it did take two emails.
