I was persuaded to opt for a TalkMobile sim…
I was persuaded to opt for a Talk Mobile sim by a very pushy guy in a Vodafone shop in Brixton. I wanted a temporary sim for a push button phone I wanted to use just while I was waiting for a replacement iphone to arrive (on an EE contract). He specifically told me to wait until after 14 days before cancelling the sim, and because I was preoccupied with getting my new iphone sorted, I took his word - even though I only needed the phone for a few days. Now I regret this, since a rolling contract was set up, and Talk Mobile emails apparently don't accept incoming messages.I no longer have the Talk Mobile sim, so cannot make free calls to Talk Mobile customer service. I cancelled the direct debit when I realised I was still being charged, and now I'm being pursued for under £20. No webchat option is offered that I can see, so this is my last resort. I'm hoping Vodafone will sort this out for me since Talk Mobile comes under their umbrella.I only went into Vodafone because the EE shop was so busy!
