An excellent and most helpful company
I was struggling to get hold of a case seal for a Rotary Seville watch. After searching the internet, came across WatchBattery (UK) Ltd. After several email exchanges, correct part was sourced and promptly delivered. All staff were most helpful and ensured my enquiry was dealt with promptly. An excellent company, who I would have no hesitation in recommending to others.

Bit arrogant to not accept an error or mistake
Not that impressed to be honest. Purchased a battery, cross checked carefully on their site and ordered.
It was not the correct battery but WatchBattery (UK) Ltd refuse to accept any error on their part or that the website might be incorrect and refuse to refund postage costs on a new unused, as new, return.
They suggest it is my fault for ordering incorrectly but you can only order by the information on the website.
Postage costs not the end of the world but customer isn't always wrong. Feedback can be used to improve things not just ignore it.
I have the device and manual in front of me and I know what it says. I carefully ordered per website instruction and cross checked.
There are other places to buy and I won't use them again.

I have looked into this issue and I am hoping that you will reconsider your rating given the information I have found from talking to all our staff involved with your order.
Please note that we will always do our level best to help customers order the correct battery and are always available during office hours via the telephone or email. You made no contact with us prior to placing your order.
In summary, the information on our website regarding the battery you purchased is correct.
The battery you purchased is for a Philishave HQ7300. Your shaver is the Philishave Norelco 7300 which is different.
Once you received your battery you sensibly held the battery to the contacts before committing to solder the battery and noted the motor was running slowly. You then contacted us for the first time for advice (29th April 15:45). You noted in your email that there were no markings on the original battery but the voltage of the motor was 3.7 Volt. You asked "Do you do a 3.7 battery for HQ7300 series shavers, I don't see one, or maybe an error in the webpage listing?"
Claire who took the message immediately discussed this with me. We realised that you must need a Li-ion 3.7 Volt battery and that your shaver couldn't possibly be the HQ7300. We did double check the information on our website which was correct. After some digging on your behalf, Claire discovered that you must have the Philishave Norelco 7300 as this uses a lithium ion battery and replied to you within the hour attaching the shaver manual she sourced from philishave showing your shaver.
You returned the battery and because you had not soldered the battery in place we gave you a full refund for the battery, including the postage we had paid in order to ship this to you, although we weren't in error.
On 3rd May you received an email from Sonia informing you of the refund. You replied the same day querying why the £1.45 you had paid in order to return the battery hadn't been included in the refund. Sonia replied within 2 hours explaining that the information on the website was correct and attached the manual showing the picture of your Philishave Norelco 7300 shaver.
Please note that we would have paid for the return of the battery had the reason for its return been down to our error.
Also, note, that in the manual for your shaver, on page 37 it says regarding the battery, "This Philips Norelco shaver contains a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery which must be disposed of properly." The Philishave HQ7300 uses a NiMH battery which is different.
We always go the extra mile to help customers, and that is why we get so many good reviews for customer service.
We would ask that you please reconsider your rating given that we all did what we could to help you and ultimately identified your shaver model and which replacement battery you needed despite us not stocking this item.

Fantastic service

I have a citizen eco-drive which has been dead for some time, I have taken it into a large high street watch shop/repairer to be told they would send it off to citizen for repair which would possibly cost over £100.
Well a bit of research and I hope it would work I ordered a new rechargeable cell from watchbattery and a tool from amazon to open the case, all for less than £25 the cell arrived the next day and the tool the same day. So within 10 minutes the watch was ticking away nicely and still going strong.
Lovely helpful lady on the other end of the phone too.
