Excellent service. We have used WYW a number of times for both windows and doors. The products are great quality, and the service is outstanding. I have had to call WYW regarding a few minor tweaks/ issues post installation, and they have been brilliant at sending someone to fix it asap - the 'post installation' service is superb (and a rarity amongst other brands in my experience.) Thank you WYW!

After upping my review to 3 stars, I now need to downgrade it back to the 1 star it deserves.
From the moment you sign the contract and money is excahnged, communication is practically non existent and you're no longer valued as a customer.
They started our window install in Nov 2024 but did not schedule enough time for the installation. The weather was an issue but even despite this, we were informed by the fitters that what was scheduled as a 3 day install should have been scheduled for at least a week. After 3 days, we only had a quarter of the windows fitted and no way to communicate with WYWs at the time (due to them closing early for a leaving party) to find out what was happening regarding fitting the remaining windows. They were just left scattered around the garden and left in the rain and we were left with scaffold fitted for weeks. The rest of the windows were then fitted piece meal at their convenience, not ours, usually with less than 24 hours notice and constant chasing by ourselves. We finally had all windows fitted 'correctly' by March 2025.
Our biggest mistake however was signing up for an extension build with them. This commenced from April 2025 and from the very first day the builders were on site we had issues, some of which I am unable to mention due to legal reasons. They didn't use a skip and piled muck 6ft high and 9m long on our driveway without any protection to our drive. Our wheelie bin was used as a step ladder, they continually smoked on site and left the garden scattered in cigarette ends. No protection was put in place to prevent dirt ingress into the property as they demolished the kitchen wall and at one point you couldn't actually see your hand in front of your face as far as our dining room due to the dust. Believe me, this is mild compared to other things I won't mention.
After the steels were installed, we were left with what I would call significant movement upstairs in our property above these. The plaster and render had significant cracking, the windowsill was visibly on a slant and the bathroom door was no longer straight in the frame, tiles were cracked in the bathroom and the floor had moved to the point that even as I write this review, you can see daylight through it. I understand that this can happen but it's the attitude of West Yorkshire Windows regarding this that is the problem.
Several employees of West Yorkshire Windows have looked at this, with the implication that the windowsill was probably not level before the work started. Considering they fitted the window, you would think that if this was the case they would have picked it up on the window survey. We were even belittled and told that our spirit level was a 'Mickey Mouse' spirit level which they then proceeded to put up against all the walls and point out how level they were. This was completely irrelevant to the structural issues resulting from the build and I suspect if you did this in any house the walls would have varying levels of straightness.
West Yorkshire Windows refuse to put in writing that they guarantee the structural integrity of our property, which speaks volumes and leaves us with no confidence that it is safe.
Another issue to be aware of is that even if they're building an extension, they still install a conservatory (plastic wendy house) light weight roof system, not a proper joisted roof as you'd expect. This was on us as we obviously had missed this when signing the contract so can't blame them but it is something to be aware of.
WYWs claim this has been fitted to their "highest standards" which in this case is filling the 2 inch gap between the roof and the brick walls with expanding foam. It may, if we're unlucky, last the course of the guarantee but I know in future we're going to be left with significant damp problems and costs to rectify this ourselves.
The only good thing I would say is that the fitting and installation team were great guys and did a great job considering the obvious time pressures they were under by WYWs.
It really is no surprise that we have such a negative opinion of this company.
In reply to the response I received from WYWs, for all the project manager may be in contact regarding outstanding issues, we have had no contact regarding money that should be returned to us due to a size reduction and changes to the build despite contacting many people many times. We're regularly having to chase up when the jobs are going to be done and have even had to cancel family events as we dont know when they are coming.
The fact that you have not denied the issues we have had speaks for itself, essentially as you can't deny the truth.
Since writing this review WYWs have now rectified all issues and repaid money due back to us. This doesn't change the negative experience we've had but does go some way towards redeeming themselves.

I was desperate. Needed to replace two broken window handles. I searched high and low no DIY shops sold anything near to what I wanted rang and visited many window fitting companies but they only deal with their own job fittings. My last hope was this company. I explained what I needed, I was offered a seat, tea/coffee AND! cake while a fitter went to see if they had what they wanted. (In the time of waiting I learnt everything about the company). One of the lady co-owner of this family business told me all about themselves. I also met three other members, who were all so kind. Fifteen minutes wait and the man returns with exactly what I wanted. I was so so pleased couldn’t explain how much it meant to me. They were just pleased that they could help. If ever I need new windows, guess who I’ll be using?

Your man came on time. Investigated what had to be done. Noticed that the job was not as straight forward as it should have been. He came up with a successful workable solution and also gave advice on how to keep the latch in good order
A job well done!

We had a solid concervatory roof fitted two and a half years ago. It was a great job. Very happy with it.
The past two January's in bad storms, there has been a small patch of water on one side of the roof. This doesn't get any bigger, so obviously not a leak, so it is thought to be
condensation. West Yorkshire Windows have been excellent, at coming out, looking and making sure everything is fine, and that I am happy. This is why I always stick with them. They are amazing at keeping their guarantee, which is now 20 years. I have used this company from the 1990's, I also recommended them to all my family and friends. It is great piece of mind to know, if any problem occurs, they are there to sort it.
Thank you all. Sandra.

Great service from start to finish. Dawn was fantastic in customer services and Richard did a great job fitting our new door. Slight hiccup with ordering but this was quickly sorted and amended straight away. Always kept up to date in a timely manner

The team was incredibly helpful and efficient in dealing with my query. They kept me well-informed throughout the process and arranged for my window to be sorted promptly. I appreciated their attention to detail, especially how considerate they were when carrying out the work, making sure to protect the carpet while walking through the house. I’ve had several windows fitted in the past, and each time I’ve been completely satisfied with the quality of the work. Overall, I’m very happy with the service, and everything was completed quickly and professionally. Fully recommended

I have always had a positive outcome with any issues I have had with WYW. Richard (one of their representatives) came to my home recently to look at a small concern I had, he was professional, kind, knowledgeable and efficient. He even asked if all the other products I had purchased from WYW were ok as he was happy to look at them whilst he was there. What great service, Richard is a credit to the company

The recently installed conservatory door was difficult to open, Richard came and made an adjustment to the Heel/toe spacers and problem solved. He gave ample warning of when he would come, arrived spot on time, very friendly and professional.
