Quality product & great service.
Clled West Yorkshire Windows because I had a problem with my patio doors I had fitted by them about 6yrs ago. They arranged a fitter to come out ASAP & he spotted the problem straight away. They just required adjusting which took him a few minutes.
I've had all my doors and windows replaced by them & I think they are a good quality product & all the fitters that we had have been very good.

Quick solution to locking problem…
Had an issue with locking back door that West Yorkshire Windows had fitted about 6 years ago. Arranged a visit within a couple of days and sorted out the issue quickly and without any fuss. The guy also looked at the front door and patio door for me and made some adjustments to them as the were a bit out of line. Great service and all covered under the warranty.

Employed WYW to fit a conservatory and…
Employed WYW to fit a conservatory and knock through the joining wall between the conservatory and the dining room.
Paid the deposit in Feb, work started 7 months later, near the end of September, which was poor to start with.
It's now 2 months since they started it, and it's still not finished. The sales rep told us it would take 5 days to finish, which was a little optimistic I agree, but even if it took 3x the estimated time, I'd have been OK with it. We are currently at over 8x the estimated time scale.
The poor workmen are sent from one job to the next, before they can finish the previous job. Over the 2 months since work was started, we have had workmen here for about 9 days in total, which is absolutely not on.
It's been 5 working days since a workman was last on site, which isn't too bad I suppose, but I emailed and left WYW voice mails, explaining they need to send them sooner rather than later, since there was damp on my floor, creeping up my freshly plastered walls. Eventually I got bored of them ignoring me, so I drilled some holes in the external cavity wall, in order to allow it to breath. This seems to have done the trick.
I'm a patient person, but this company is really starting to get on my nerves. Their office staff never let us know when workmen are due, the workmen just shown up. I then feel bad because they can't get on with the work until we sort out access to the property. If I knew they were coming, I'd make sure they had access before arriving.
I've given then 2 stars instead of 1, simply because the work standard itself is really good. When the workmen do show up, they graft hard and I can tell that they do a proper job.
I'd never recommend WYW as it stands, their customer service is non existent, their communication is horrible and the wait times are just way too long. I'm also out of pocket on several things because of these delays, including 7 months interest on the deposit and a deposit I put down for a plumber who I booked in for 3 weeks AFTER the scheduled completion date sent to be by WYW.
If you still want to use WYW for fitting a conservatory, if you start the process now, you might get it done by Christmas 2025, and I'm not exaggerating.

Great products and brilliant after sales care
I was having problems with a lock on my new front door which I was struggling to open - or I thought I was!!
WYW arranged for one of their engineers to visit me the very next day.
Even though I did say that it’s probably “user error” they did not hesitate to send someone to sort it.
Excellent customer service, which is rare in today’s society. Would totally recommend for both product and after sales care.

Old fashioned service in the best sense of the word
Came when they said they would to do the survey. Sensible price without a long bartering process. Knowledgable surveyor who gave very practical advice. Fitted on the day agreed with no mess.

Excellent after care service, would highly recommend
We knew exactly where we were with West Yorkshire Windows from the minute we reported the problem to Dawn to the end of the job which Richard sorted expertly. Dawn is just who you want to deal with when you have an issue, she is friendly, lovely to speak to, understanding and very helpful. The prompt follow up emails and texts made sure we knew what was happening. Richard, who came to do the repair, is a lovely gentleman, courteous, professional, friendly and respectful. We were very happy with the work he did and felt comfortable to have him in our home. I would definitely recommend West Yorkshire Windows after care service.

Good comany with good communication , door fitting exeptional , survey not so good guy was grumpy and rude , look like he is not interested with work at all . Lady seller from other hand very knowledable and helpful .
