Excellent service this year so far

Excellent service this year so far. Only issue is sometimes the instructions to delivery driver in event of not being in are either not followed or "evaporate". My usage so far has been between South Africa and UK multiple times. All in all I'm happy with the service and will continue to use.

An excellent service online. Very swift application and decision. Very smooth transaction through to end with retail partner. Very quick email follow up and also impressed with the App so far too. Lots of options available and it appears there is a good customer service department if all else fails. Would definitely use again.

Always massive call waiting times

Always massive call waiting times. Staff often abrupt but sometimes ok. Very hit or miss so not helpful after a long *have you tried the app* on hold situation. In my experience also unhelpful in unusual or time critical situations. Also their in-house RAC service was awful. Huge wait time even with vulnerable passenger although the technician that finally arrived was excellent. I dont think I will be bothering again when the current agreement comes to an end. Disappointed.

Travel experience onboard was ok…

Travel experience onboard was ok although cleanliness was below what I was expecting. Ticket pricing far too high though especially if they are trying to entice customers back after the pandemic [having fewer packed trains doesn't cut it!].

We've a team of cleaners who travel onboard to keep our trains looking clean throughout the day, as well as deeper cleans before and after service at the depot, so it's disappointing to hear you found the service otherwise. With regard to pricing, this is something that is set and regulated by the Department for Transport, with the exception of our Advance Singles, which are cheaper, so we can only apologise you found this to be too high. We're running a full timetable, which is the same as it was before the pandemic, so we are not running fewer, busier trains - you can find the quietest times to travel on our website if this is a particular area of desire for you.
