Top quality service

I took out cover with action call mainly because they were very good value, not expecting to actually have to use their services! When I did need them the quality of their service was very good, I mean things like the clarity of their communication, the speed with which we got messages and calls from the people they had engaged, the overall response in terms of our rescue.
When I rang to ask when our tow truck was due, the call answerer even knew who I was so I didn't have to go through lots of identification checks. They relayed us to our destination rather than back home, which was slightly further away, but much much better for us.
Thank you so much for your help.

Excellent Customer Service

I called Action Call when all the lights came on in my car on the way to work. They were amazing, they called me to let me know when someone would be out to my workplace, the gentleman called me when he was outside (45 minutes later) he was clear precise and very helpful. They then called me after to make sure he arrived and if there was anything else they could do to help. They were absolutely wonderful and I felt safe to drive home.
Thank you Action Call

Worst customer services ever!!

Worst customer services ever!!! I bought my breakdown cover in Feb 2018... i then bought a new car in July and asked to move the cover across (for the remaining 7 months) - they couldn't do this...so money down the drain. I asked if i could cancel it then and use the remainder of the money towards a new policy...again no.... and at this point they charged me a further £6.95 for canceling the policy so over £20 out of pocket and no breakdown cover for the remainder of the year. RUBBISH CUSTOMER SERVICES!!

Steer clear!!

This has got to be one of the worst companies that we have dealt with. Having unexpectedly changed our car 6 weeks after taking out breakdown insurance we contacted the company to inform them that we no longer required cover. We were informed that there would be no refund for the unused part of the policy and, to add insult to injury, they stated that as we were cancelling outside the 14 day ‘cooling off’ period, they would be taking a further £6.99 admin charge. We have told them that we no longer wish to cancel and do not give them permission to take any further money from our account only to be told that it’s in the terms and conditions and refused to continue the policy. Only by speaking to an unhelpful manager, who also hid behind the ‘terms and conditions’ screen, did they finally agree to continue the policy and not take any more money from our account. This was the only way we could avoid the admin charge. It feels like legalised theft!

USE THIS COMPNAY AT YOUR PERIL!

Had breakdown cover for 3 months and changed vehicle. Their cover is non transferable to another vehicle and they also charged me for cancelling the policy !!!!
They said because I told them that I had changed cars they had the right to cancel the policy and charge me the cancellation.
Very,Very,Very poor customer service, no managers available...surprise,surprise. Only email complaints procedure.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED TO LOSE ALL PREMIUMS IF YOU CHANGE VEHICLE....THEY HIDE BEHIND THEIR SMALLPRINT

Be careful buying from these people if you might change vehicle

Be very careful buying from these people if you might change your vehicle within the period of cover. They not only charge you for a new policy but also a cancellation fee for the existing policy. they will automatically take the money from your card even if you haven't agreed. It is in the T & C's but deliberately not obvious so be careful. Customer service is very poor too, asked to speak to a manager but no one available and they won't phone you back. As it is I have had to pay a full years fee plus cancellation for a few weeks cover and no call outs.

Bought policy on 10 May 2018 and been…

Bought policy on 10 May 2018 and been suspended as it was punctured before the policy started and requested to provide receipt.

Receipt has been provided on 11 May 2018 but no one bothered to reply.

Made a call out on 26th May 2018 and been informed that they cant see details and spoken with action call advisors on 29th May 2018 only to tell me that my account has been suspended until they receive receipt which has been sent on 11 May 2018.

Now they say that receipt is not proper so they have requested the receipt again which made me anger and asked them why haven't they replied after getting the receipt and requested them to cancel my policy and they tell me i have passed 14 day cancellation policy and more to that they charged me £6.99 for cancelling it.

Been robbed twice (£38.99+£6.99) and tried speaking with higher people and the advisor said he cant forward the call as they were hired for this only.

I will never recommend this company to anyone
