It’s always an absolute pleasure to shop at Clarks Wolverhampton! Totally over the moon with the level of customer service I received today from Raj. I was after a pair of Wallabees that I’m wearing... See more

Helen at Telford was very helpful. Happy to offer advice and found me the perfect fit size 5 wide fit. Very pleasant manner. Thank you

Great service and help in finding an alternative to the shoes I was interested in that weren’t in stock. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were very complimentary when I tried on the shoes. Instead of the one pair I intended to buy, I bought 3 pairs to take back to Australia with me. Webber was a great help and very knowledgeable regarding sizing and styles.

Went into the Bedford Interchange store to collect a delivery. The two members of staff who were in there were so friendly and polite. However, a special shout out to Zara who really helped me pick out some shoes. She gave honest opinions and was such a lovely young girl. Thanks so much. Customer service is not dead !!👏😊
Maria at the Abbey Centre was incredibly helpful
Maria at the Abbey Centre was extremely helpful, patient and very friendly.
She has an obviously great experience of folks, who like me, suffer with the plantair fasceitous foot issue.
She offered excellent help and experienced explanations that aided me to make a far more informed and suitable decision than I would have originally, when I walked into the shop to start with.
Really appreciated the help today.
Maria was brilliant 👏 Keep up the excellent service, Maria! 😃
I had always heard great things about…
I had always heard great things about Clarks shoes, but unfortunately that hasn’t been my experience. I’ve purchased two pairs of children’s shoes from Clarks, and on both occasions the shoes became unwearable within six months.
At £45 a pair, I find this really disappointing. I initially went back to the store, where I was told it was “wear and tear.” I then contacted customer services, who said the shoes were not defective and suggested that my 3-year-old must have damaged them.
I’m not quite sure how a 3-year-old can cause the soles of the shoes to fall off. Given the price and the reputation of the brand, I expected much better quality and customer service. Sadly, I won’t be buying from Clarks again.

Disappointed
I reluctantly purchased two pair of cavasneskers for mt two year old grandson 7days ago.
In the past Clarks sold great shoes
Seems materials veing used now is cheap.
My grandson's new shoes have been worn for less than four days. The Tounge is pulling down causing his foot to slip out of shoe. Extremely disappointed
But not surprised.

Great service from Kezia
Great service from Kezia - she was both proactive and patient in helping me choose the right pair of shoes. She must’ve fetched at least 8-10 boxes out while I was there (due to Clarks’ strange sizes). In the end they didn’t have the size I needed in store but she reserved a pair at another shop for me to collect, for which I am very grateful!
I've always liked Clarks shoes but...
I've always liked Clarks shoes but a recent purchase and their lack of service has put me off. A small defect in the stitching was raised 8 weeks ago and Clarks swiftly responded. Since then, in spite of numerous emails I'm getting no response from them. I've just tried their help line and got bored listening to their hold music for 6 minutes. All rather disappointing from a once great company.
Update! I eventually got through on the phone and Clarks were happy to contribute towards new shoes as a gesture of goodwill for the poor service.

Had great service in your Mayflower store ,basildon.store
Had great service in your Mayflower retail store in basildon, the sales lady chloe was very good, as a customer i was given personnel service which i thought was excellent, nothing was too much trouble with me wanting to try on sandals over and over again.
Pleasant lady who is a credit to the clarks shoe shop team.
Really disappointing experience with…
Really disappointing experience with Clarks. I placed an order for two pairs of shoes — one arrived scratched and was clearly a display item, while the second box contained a completely different pair of shoes altogether.
I clearly explained both issues in my return request, yet the delivery fee was still deducted from my refund. Customer service only made things worse. Over the phone, I was basically treated as if I was lying about receiving the wrong shoes in the box.
This isn’t even about the £2.95 delivery fee itself — it’s the principle of charging a customer for mistakes that were entirely on Clarks’ side.
Very poor quality control and even worse customer service. Definitely won’t be ordering from Clarks again.

An excellent team at the Eldon square store. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. They went over and above helping me with a product transaction yesterday and seemed genuinely happy to be of assistance. Thank you to the 3 members.
I don't know how many pairs of Clarks…
I don't know how many pairs of Clarks shoes I've worn since my first pair (brown sandals) as a child in the 1950's. Until now I've never had any need to contact the company and have been totally happy with every pair.
Now that I'm older bending down to put shoes on is difficult so I bought a pair online described as step-in and specifically 'no bending'. However, when stepping in the heel can bend inwards, it even has a tab you need to bend down and hold onto to stop that happening. The shoes have a tongue which always moves inward as the foot enters the shoe, again it has a tab so you have to bend down and pull it back every time you put the shoes on. I wore the shoes a couple of times over the next 2 weeks hoping they might need 'running in' to perform better but they didn't.
I then complained via the webform, since they do not publish an email address, which is infuriating since you don't have a record of what you sent as you would do with an email. I also attached a screen shot of the webpage for the shoes highllghting the step-in claim and the claim of no bending.
It took 8 days for Clarks to reply simply stating the returns policy which any fool can read on the website. It didn't address the false description of the shoes at all. It's not worth trying to continue any conversation with a company who seemingly either can't read or choose to ignore what you write. I'm now preparing a County Court small claim against Clarks which will have costs added.
Meantime that's the last pair of Clarks shoes which my feet will see. I'll update this in a few weeks time with the outcome of the Court action.
UPDATE:
I did as requested and escalated my complaint. It took 12 days for the response which was word for word the same email as the first one which had only taken a week to write! No more wasting time, I'm now off to the County Court to issue my claim.

Visit to your bulring store …
2nd May my sisters and I went to your store5411. We were shopping for my sister who is a small size, doesn't fit the categorie of adult size.
We spoke to Linda one your colleagues, who was so very helpful.
She went into the stock room, bringing out trainers and sandals. We were very grateful to her. We bought a pair of sandals and pair of trainers.
Linda exceeded our expectations. Good asset to your company.
Only one assistant on children's section
I went in with my 2 grandchildren, I waited and waited, Conor who was already serving a lady with 3 children, after waiting a few minutes I asked if the lady who was doing nothing could help, oh no I'm on ladies, no one came into the ladies section the whole time, Conor was rushed of his feet, but still Amanda would not leave her post on ladies shoes.
So thank you Conor for excellent service.
Amanda you clearly don't work as a team, was getting paid the same if not more for standing, just standing on Ladies.
I have two more grandchildren who need shoes, don't think I'll return her.

We were blown away by the service in…
We were blown away by the service in Newark Clarks today. We were served by Lorna, and she is incredible.
My little boy has a diagnosis of cerebral palsy and wears a splint on one leg/foot, and we have struggled to find any footwear that accommodates his disability.
Not only did she help with no questions asked, she was kind and understanding (which is hard to come by with a difficult customer)
They have a customer for life after today, having a disabled child, things like this are normally stressful and pricey. Which absolutely was not the case today.
Lorna, it may seem small but your help today was incredible and I appreciate it more than I can say.
And our boy LOVES his new shoes.
