Cluedress 

I ordered some items that appeared to be really nice only to find that the were very poor quality fabric and plastic printed designs. I decided to return the items but was told that yes you can but it will probably cost more to return them as there is a customs charge on goods into china. I said well I am returning them anyway, try and make it difficult for me and I will fight it. People are put off by the fact you have to pay postage but it only cost me £13 for 8 items. I would strongly recommend not to use this company as the goods are nothing like those advertised. Poor quality fabric has been used.
After a month and checking with the company to see if the goods had been received, I got a refund of about £75 the same day, roughly what it should have been so don't be put off by bluff and bluster - or don't order from these people in the first place - I think it was on facebook as FASHIONWEB, avoid them!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY. Ordered 3 dresses that looked fab in pictures. Turned up were pure rags, too big, I wouldn't use them to wash my car down. Had a ongoing email saga with Maggie whoever she is at customer service. Opened a dispute with PayPal returned the items to China which I had to pay for. Items stuck in customs. PayPal have now sided with this company even though I have no control over customs. Never use them again and PayPal facilitating a scam company so they are now deleted as well

Awful quality rags which I paid £18 to return, only for the company to claim they never received them! I am still owed over £100 - thieves. DO NOT BUY from CLUEDRESS. (Order F - ClueDress6524)

Please please don't order from their website! I have ordered some clothes for 60 pounds in may and I haven't received it! Scam ! I have sent them 3 emails to ask when are they going to process my order and the answer was they are on holiday . They never gave me the answer for my order!! So disappointed. I also reported the website on Facebook as that's the way I saw their website . Good lesson to be more careful.

Returned items by signed for mail to their UK depot and after 3 months, have denied receipt even though my signed for receipt has been verified with the GPO. They have not given me the £80+ refund they owe me still after numerous emails.
Would not recommend ordering from this company especially if you have order more than one for size.

I have posted before, but saga is still going on.
Item sixes are terrible a large would only fit a size 12. So if size 14 to 16 would need an xxl but the largest size they do is xl.
The fabric and craftsmanship is rubbish.
Almost 4 months on still only got 3 out of 4 items delivered. Have complained to Cluedress but they do not respond have asked for returns label but only get I must return and pay for return. Asked for address only got that today after starting complaint on 6 July, so thathas taken 2 months. Paypal have been involved now for those 2 months and today got an unsatisfactory resolution. I send the garments back, I pay and also pay for tracking of parcel. This will cost at least £40.00 which is about the price of the garments sending back.So I will hopefully after all that maybe after another month get the refund for the one item not received. This is rubbish, this company should not be allowed to advertise in UK because their service is well below trading standards in this country, also Paypal should not be associated with them. So do not buy from this company you will only have a lot of grief.

I ordered 3 items from them costing £60.49, took about 2 months to arrive and as soon as I opened the parcel I could see all items were crap and nothing like the website pictures or descriptions so never bothered to open individual packets. Emailed the so called customer services to say I'd returned via royal mail to the Return address that was on the outside of the original packaging.....heard nothing sent several emails to finally get told that's not the return address so I said well why is it printed as so on the packaging and got no reply. Kept emailing requesting refund as had no goods and they'd had my money and got no reply, threatened them with legal action, got no reply ........can only be described as scanners / fraudsters, makes my blood boil !!😡😡!!

I echo all these other reviews. My two items were very poor quality, very small sizes and I've been offered a 10% refund due to it being a China return address.
I'm going to report them as scammers and hope my credit card company refunds me. These people need stopping. It's fraudulent.

I made an order in the beginning of May of this year but received my order in two different packages in August. I had to pay taxes twice even though my order confirmation said 0 in shipping and 0 in taxes. The items I received were not the right size nor the right fabric - and of extremely poor quality with loose threads all over. I contacted their so called "customer service" on numerous occasions but received no help whatsoever. The WORST shopping experience of my life!

I ordered a jumpsuit from them and when the item finally arrived (fair enough delay could be down to Covid) it was completely different to the picture. Cheap scratchy material, missing pockets and different colour. I've been emailing back and forth with their customer service and although they tell people they're based in America (probably to make people feel more secure about ordering) they won't refund you more than 10% unless you return the item in it's original packaging to their warehouse in China and incur high tax rates. They also asked for a picture to prove it doesn't fit so I sent them a picture of it yanked up to my knees. But don't worry, they offered me a discount on my next purchase.

Ordered three items from this company. One T-shirt was nice and as described on website. Second shirt was clearly a cheap copy: 100 percent poliester instead of 'cotton blend' and the illustration vague and fading. But the third item was worse: in three places there were tears in the jumpsuit. I wrote to custumer service to ask for refund of this last item and they said they offered 10% of the value and 'that i should give it to a friend if I did not like it'. I kept discusiing and in the end they paid me 15% which is still a laugh. Sending the item back would have cost me too much to even consider it. I will never buy from this company again.

Wish I had read the reviews on this website. Disgusting customer service same story as every other customer about returning goods I was told I had to find find my parcel as I'd sent it back to the shipping address on the label. Joke... Rip off. Out of pocket

Total con artists .. do not buy from these .. how this is legal i don't no but iam going to see citizen advise .. they offer you a %10 refund on the garbage they send you .. or say your going to be charged an amount more than original purchase price on in port duty to china ? ..

God I really wish I had looked at reviews! Omg such a terrible dress arrived I emailed them to get the return address as no returns info or label came with the dress , and they asked me to send photos of the dress and said they would ask there boss and decide if I was allowed to return it !! I just think it’s not worth the hassle ! The dress was a cheap t . Shirt sort of material but was suppose to be linen ! What a joke obviously a load of crooks !!!

I really wish I had read these reviews first. The clothes were made from cheap material and poorly made at that. Absolute trash. They look nothing like the linens and heavy gauge cottons in the pictures on their website. Shame on FB for running these scam company ads. I've applied for a refund, but judging by the rest of these reviews, I don't hold out much hope... Avoid them!

Poor clothes. And poor customer service. Do not buy anything from them. Won't refund my money offered 10% I refused then 15% its a absolute joke.

This is an update from my previous review. I have just been in contact directly with PayPal. They advised that ANYONE who has had a bad experience with Cluedress to open a dispute (if paid through PayPal). They said they have had a number of complaints regarding this company and the more people that write in ie. open a dispute, to get in touch with them as they can only do something regarding the companies ethics by open disputes.
I hope this will be useful to all who have been basically scammed like myself.

Awful company! Shoddy clothes! Appalling communication, Only offered 10% refund and I could keep the rags!!!
Don’t bother trying to send anything back to the returns address on their label (even using proof of posting!) as you won’t get a refund (just under £50 in this case) because they say I shouldn’t have used that address!! I should have sent them back to China!!!! Do not buy anything from them, if you want to throw your money away, give it to charity!!

Cluedress, or are they Luboutique?! are awful! I ordered an item that is so poorly cut that it is unwearable, even by my smallest daughter. The fit was ok in some areas, but totally inconsistent with others, rendering me out of pocket and stuck with something that frankly needs binning!
Customer service? What customer service?! Three attempts to make contact to return and refund proved fruitless.
Unfortunately I don't seem to have a leg to stand on according to retailadr.org. However I will be reporting them to the SAMR.
