Aaron from the support team sorted out a tricky addon-domain configuration on my Business Hosting plan within minutes via chat, enabled the addon slot, installed AutoSSL, and configured the Force HTTPS redirect. Clearly explained each step as he went. Refreshing to deal with someone who fixes the actual problem rather than reading from a script. Thanks Aaron.

I have had my website and email hosted with them for around ten years. It used to be a good place to host my simple website, where I could use a wysiwyg editor to quickly make basic website edits, such as changing my opening hours or listing when I was away, etc.
Go to update my website today and find the wysiwyg editor has been 'deprecated'. I am told to go and see a web developer. I am quite capable of managing the html for my basic website, it just takes longer.
There was absolutely no communication about this feature being deprecated and I had to spend an hour with chat support to be told.
Very poor communication and customer support.

Website is full of PR hype about how great the company is at assisting people but in fact it doesn't. It is almost impossible to get hold of a real person. The chat A.I. service is completely useless and has a narrow range of questions it allows to be asked, mostly marketing stuff. Won't allow you to talk to a human, if in fact they still have many on the staff.

Turned off auto-renew three times. Still charged the next day. They refused to provide a refund. Go elsewhere...this lot are a bunch of over priced scammers.

After being with this company for over seven years. Last year sometime they decided my email should be moved to a dedicated email host site. I did this and I paid for it. Within a year after this, they contacted me again and claimed I needed to be moved again, this time to some "titan mail" at a fee of over $470. I still have not activated this new titan mail they claimed I needed, but when I told them I did not want to continue as nothing was properly explained, they have decided not to refund my money. I did not have anything made bespoke. WHY can my money not be refunded, because they say so. I will be fighting this. JUST BE WARNED. This compant is not all it seems. STEER CLEAR

I'm in NZ, Free Parking sold to Crazy Domians. After two phone calls saying I had to change to their server, I had no choice.. and the first man was very rude I must add. I paid $1500 for two years for my online shop to host with them. They told me there would be no disturbance to my shop when they migrate the website as they would do it over night. They transferred it over and when I checked my shop.. it was gone and saying it was insecure. The SSL certificate was not there. I had to chase them up, got someone different and he fixed that. Now my shop was back with NO PRODUCTS! All 300 products have gone. He said he will get someone to look into it. It's coming up 10 days.. I have loss of earnings at an important time (Mothers Days coming up) and still no products. I'm so upset and I'm talking to my lawyer for loss of sales and what can be done about this. Not good enough Crazy Domains. If I have to build my products again, it will take me at least a year! I will be looking at compensation. Do something about this.. NOW. Thanks Tabitha Jewellery NZ

Completely let down a paying business customer
I have been left without a working website and business emails over an entire weekend because of Crazy Domains' failure and their complete lack of support to resolve it.
What makes this so unacceptable is that Crazy Domains quietly removed their 24/7 customer service, moving to Monday–Friday only. Nobody told me this on Friday when I spoke to an agent, which would have been the obvious and decent thing to do. Instead, I was left to discover it myself when I desperately needed help.
I run a business. My website and emails are not optional extras — they are how I communicate with clients and operate day to day. An entire weekend of downtime, no pathway to resolution, and zero support is not just inconvenient, it is genuinely damaging.
If you are a business owner, do not rely on Crazy Domains. The removal of around-the-clock support without clear communication to customers is a serious failure. I will be moving my domains and hosting elsewhere as soon as this is resolved.

Poor support with very long wait times. They also don't provide modern settings like DNSSEC. I recommend using another DNS provider.

WARNING: Misleading Sales Practices & Failure to Deliver
After 15 years with Crazy Domains, I was misled into an unnecessary $3,000+ upgrade and experienced catastrophic service failures.
The Sales Deception:
In February 2026, Account Manager J falsely claimed my Linux Hosting plan was "grandfathered" and being discontinued. This was a lie—Linux hosting is still actively offered. I was pressured into upgrading to a Premium plan I didn't need. Critically, I was never shown the Standard plan option, despite it being perfectly suited to my simple, externally-hosted websites. J promised "FREE" email migration and "seamless" website transfers handled by their team.
The Disaster:
I was instructed to reduce my email storage to below 10GB. While doing so, my main email account containing 16.84 GB of 5+ years of business and personal correspondence was DELETED. Crazy Domains made no recovery attempt, no apology, no explanation.
The Broken Promises:
Feb 18: Promised $141.56 refund within 10 days → Not received
Feb 18: Promised migration of email hosting → Never happened
Mar 12: Promised $391.90 refund within 7 days → Never happened
Charged for unauthorized "Advance Support" service ($108.90+) that was supposed to transfer email addresses—this work was never completed
The Result:
I've received zero actual cash refunds despite repeated promises. My email remains unrecovered. Website migration incomplete. I spent weeks attempting resolution, only to encounter broken promises, unanswered calls, and poor follow-up.
Recommendation: Use another provider. The misleading sales tactics and failure to deliver on critical services are unacceptable, especially for a long-time customer.

I totally recommend Crazy Domains. Have contacted help desk many times and they always come in clutch with a resolution to any issues that arise. Customer service is A+. Way better than WIX. So glad we changed.

We have used CD for many years. This time we needed access for our Tech guy so that he could set up a landing page referencing mudroom.au. This was done previously without fuss but this time apparently because CD have changed the backend, there had to be issues. After both my tech guy and I spent many hours trying to get a simple task performed, we found that I needed to pay and extra $28- christ knows what for - but I needed access for my Tech Guy. So its going to be bye, bye, from me as I have better things to do with my time than to be stuffed around by CD

Misleading email makes me think I’m doing something nice by writing a review for the agent who helped me with my problem via their customer support chat box. Actually I’m just writing a review for crazy domains. Well here’s your review lol

Overall, they're not too bad to use. Pretty easy to understand user interface and pretty low prices.
That said, they paywall things that are quite frankly ridiculous. Intentionally paywalling txt files and forcing you to do an expensive upgrade. Having to pay to add a txt file is not industry practise. That's engineering to try and extract as much value from the consumer as possible in the backend. That's very disappointing.
If you're willing to pay a significant premium in the backend to get the job done, then pretty good user. If you're actually looking for a smart package, you'd probably move away from this user.
