Overall review of the Co-op Funeral Service
All the staff we met were excellent, very friendly, helpful to us in getting through the planning of the funeral.
On the day of the funeral all went to plan. It was organised extremely well. All the staff were attentive throughout the funeral and we couldn't have asked for more from them.

Dealing with a difficult interview.
Louise was experienced enough to gage well the type of attitude which was suitable for my son and I at our initial interview. I am aware that it must be very difficult in those circumstances to get just the right sort of approach to so many different people who are likely to react in many different ways. She dealt with the myriad of questions in a professional way, and helped us to make decisions.

some questions intially unanswered and photos of flowers quite poor
Staff were polite and respectful and i think trying to be helpful. However some questions that I asked in my email went unanswered until I got to speak to some-one personally. I asked for photos of the flowers sent on the day and when I received them they were only partial pictures. None of them showed the bunches as a whole and one picture had no flowers in at all. luckily some one attending the funeral also took photos.

Outstanding co-op funeral service. I was so pleased the co-op funeralcare…
I was so pleased the co-op funeralcare at Eastney Portsmouth handled my mother’s funeral. Sally was exceptional from the start, she really made the whole process easy and comfortable for myself and my brothers to understand. The day of the funeral was faultless 11 out of 10. The cars which took us to the crematorium
the service with the flowers, music and celebrant was outstanding. Thankyou Sally and the co-op, mum would have been so happy with everything you did.

Co operative funeral was a disaster
Co operative was a very good company for a worker whom worked to up the end of her life, that's over 20 years. Then the funeral branch let everything down it was disgusting.
Everything that you could do wrong did.
I will write a letter of complaint, which is the first in my life by the way.
This is how they treat a beloved staff member
Hope you don't plan on getting fingerprint jewelry as as we had multiple prints, all useless.

Treated with care and respect.
From the moment my late Mum came into the care of the Co-op at Emsworth,Hampshire l experienced nothing but compassion,empathy and professionalism.l was listened to,questions answered and l never felt rushed.Things such as fingers prints and a lock of Mums hair were offered to me which was lovely.
I felt Mum was cared for throughout and looked peaceful l saw her in the Chapel of rest.
On the day of Mums buriel the pall bearers and their senior were lovely,nothing was rushed,nothing was too much trouble and Mum was treated with dignity.
They also checked l was OK and reminded me l could contact the team even after the buriel for advice or just to talk.
This is the 3rd time in 4 years l have arranged a funeral with the CO-OP for a loved one and would not hesitate in recommending them.
