Complete Scam, avoid at all cost

Found advert for Laurel plants near my area on facebook marketplace. Spoke to someone who was helpful in providing details and costs for different size plants.
Then I was asked to place the order in n their website, should have known at this point it was a scam. Look at the facebook advert, see what else they’re selling and if it’s many things in many different places it’s a scam. Unfortunately almost ever result now on FB Marketplace for laurel plants are now scams. Do your research and don’t be fooled by these people. The site should be taken down. After placing my order they advised it was arriving then made excuses they delivered to wrong address. Fortunately I got my money back from my credit card company.

Dishonest & blame their customers

Ordered 3 fruit trees from this company. £44 down the drain! Tried to contact Alex who Id messaged with on FB Messenger. He's now blocked me after apologizing for the disaster that was delivered to me. Contacted Gearcourt via their website to be ignored! So clearly like to rip their customers off as no response! Never again.

Love the laughable response from Ben telling me I was happy to plant them....erm is that not what you are supposed to do? I planted them in good faith followed the instructions and sent the company pictures nearly a month on, where ONE tree has 3 little sprigs and the other two are DEAD. Nothing Nada ZIP has grown! So despite following instructions......I have two dead twigs and one maybe a tree in about 5 years! So I stand by everything I've said..Rip off and now ZERO customer service too. Let's blame our customers for our shoddy goods! Perfect.........I'm now going to The Range where their £15 fruit trees not only come in a pot but already have enough foliage to be trained on A frames.....HEALTHY YOUNG TREES! Just what you would expect. Should have bought from them in the first place!

Facebook Market Place / Gearcourt - goods not received

I ordered bamboo plants from Facebook Market Place. I was offered free delivery & 10% off, if I purchased via their website. The website was Gearcourt. The website autofilled the delivery address with an old address without allowing me to check it (I must have used the website previously). I contacted the seller on Facebook to change the address & I was promised this had been done. I also emailed Gearcourt. The plants never arrived. Eventually after failing to get a reply or a refund from the Facebook seller I contacted Gearcourt webchat. I have been assured they will return my money within a couple of working days & I have received an email to confirm that. I asked who was at fault - Gearcourt or the Facebook seller & was told the mix up with addresses may have caused the problem. They said the seller may have been a third party seller. There are several other sellers using the same photos of the plant, so maybe Gearcourt uses 3rd party sellers & they distribute the goods. I'm not sure how the business model works but I will not buy plants or other items again from Facebook Marketplace if it goes via Gearcourt. I would prefer to have direct contact with an actual seller, not a third party.

SCAM

Unfortunately, have to agree with the below negative comments. I believe this is a scam and have had to inform my bank. Cherry Laurels were supposed to be delivered last Wednesday and everyday since saying it will be tomorrow. Asking for a refund and gone quiet. Be careful and best to avoid. Same as below comments, advertised on Facebook Market Place, sent link to purchase.

FB Marketplace scam!

This website is promoted by many people via FB marketplace with fake profiles. Buy at your own risk and use a credit card, so that you can reclaim the money on purchases over £100 if the order doesn't arrive.

Facebook Marketplace Scam - Beware

Found this company via Facebook Marketplace and was told via a (fake) profile to follow a link to gearcourt.co.uk where I could safely place an order for 30x laurels. Lots of communication before the order was placed and then minimal communication after. Long story short… the laurels were never delivered and now messages are ignored. Luckily I contacted my credit card provider who has reversed the payment and we have our money back.

My first review has been taken down
I ordered 100 laurel hedge plants and after backward and forward texts, emails and phone calls, most may I add we’re not answered I contacted my bank who issued a refund.
2 days later the plants arrived.
This took over 4 weeks!!
I must say the customer service is terrible but give them their due the plants were good
A customer service overhaul is needed and the attitude of the guy I dealt with was terrible

Also trade as Cruz Products ....AVOID

Oh my goodness ...I honestly wouldn't know where to begin. Probably the shadiest company I've ever dealt with.
I ordered some bamboo fencing ...When it arrived, not only was it the wrong size, it was also a completely different product that was advertised on there website.
I spoke with a person called Samantha. To begin with she said she would arrange a return. That did not transpire. Next she stated that Evri website was down and she could not arrange a return! After that she said she would refund the purchase without a return. The refund did not happen.
I lost faith by this time and raised a complaint with PayPal. PayPal really helpful however the company were meant to send me a returns label ...the link they send was invalid. Thankfully PayPal also refunded my postage.
The company also trade as Cruz Products...be very wary of this company.
