Interface complicated, booking not streamlined
I am an experienced online user and traveller and I found the interface a little complicated and ended up booking a fare without check in luggage. The booking did not appear on my British Airways profile and I had to call them when I arrived in London to have a seat allocated (I am a gold frequent flyer).

Excellent experience
The car booked was the one made available. This isn't always the case by competitors. Very pleased to be given a car with only 6000 km on the clock. Process was very quick and by a lovely helpful person.

We went with Hello World in August last yr to Canada and Alaska, what an awesome holiday, the scenery was just beautiful, in Canada and Alaska, The Coach we went on was also great, especially the driver, and also,the people on the coach, the only part we did,nt really enjoy was the cruise with Holland American Lines,the ship was a bit old ,the rooms were a bit disappointing, especially what we had asked for.

I have book the return tickets from Perth to Kuala lumpur.
I was shocked when i received the confirmation.
Because flights was switched ( on confirmation its shows that we are travelling from Kuala Lumpur to Perth return).
I have called the customer services and received the terrible response. They said that i have to pay $40 website fee and $51 airline fee and then fare difference fee. That was $240 for per passenger.
I have a question for our Department Australian Consumer affairs that why these companies are running their business ..Department should have to cancel their Lic.
I am going for an official complaint.
I think that the Department need to revise all the reviews from top to bottom.

TOTALLY INCOMPETENT
I paid $1,236 for a return flight Sydney to Paris, it then cost Helloworld $2,552 to rectify the errors they made with my booking. They even wanted me to pay for their errors with a refund after "upper management" approval. They offered me a $100 hotel voucher as "goodwill" and then sent a $75 one ! I have donated the voucher cost back to them to use towards customer service training. Do yourself a favour and use a reputable on line travel provider, most will price match Helloworld's prices and without incompetent and arrogant handling of your booking.

Worst experience with a travel agent.
The online contact centre in the Philippines would have to be the worst contact centre in the world for a travel agency.
They are wasters of time and do not have a shred of professionalism in their bodies.
They will never give their word, to call you back, Always give you misleading information.
Had to go to the department of fair trading to get a resolution on a booking, after nearly a fortnight of hundreds of calls, and emails fell on deaf ears and blind eyes.
Do not deal with them. I certainly will not. EVER AGAIN!

Ten months and no refund
Flight tickets were purchased by my husband early in 2015 - just prior to the date of departure, he was killed in a road accident. Ten months later and helloworld insist the refund was made, however, have not provided a statement or receipt from their bank, just a screenshot of the transaction processed on the Company's payment system. This does not actually prove the international transaction was processed successfully.
I have been informed verbally that the matter is closed, but nothing in writing.
I have requested the complaints procedure, contact details for the Customer Service Director and Ombudsman, yet have not received any of these details. I will take the matter further as it is unacceptable for a company to operate in this way.

First name and title case combined..
Booking process was straightforward and flights are cheap however I am a little concerned that all my tickets read Shannonms McLay instead of Ms Shannon McLay. I am worried that because my title is combined with my first name it doesn't match my passport. The Helloworld stores are reluctant to provide any advice regarding this because it was booked online and not in store.
