I ordered three beautiful pendant lights. Our electrician installed them at the end of our kitchen Reno and found that one of the lights didn’t work because the wiring was faulty. Because id ordered the lights more than 30 days before I was offered NO replacement and no refund. Which is against sales of goods act in the UK, where you have up to 6 months to receive a replacement or at least be offered a repair. I was simply told on email that neither would be given. The customer care on email was polite, whilst stealing my money.
So I’m left with two lights and no solution.
Terrible Experience – Feeling Scammed
I placed an order with Lunaralights at the end of August and still haven’t received anything. Their website tracking system doesn’t work, their customer service email bounces back, and the phone number listed on their site is no longer in service.
Unfortunately, I didn’t check Trustpilot before buying, and now it seems like I’ve been scammed. There’s been zero communication from the company, and no way to reach them.
Unless Lunaralights contacts me soon with clear information about my order and delivery, I will consider this company a complete scam. Very disappointing and unacceptable.

We were super excited about our light, but stupidly didn't check the Trust Pilot reviews before purchasing. Needless to say, we've had the same experience as everyone else. Our lamp was £300, doesn't even look like the picture, came from China and emails to the company bounce and their support number says it's been disconnected. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

I ordered a Lucy Motion Sensor Outdoor Wall Lamp. The item I received was not a motion sensor, confirmed by my electrician.
I contacted customer service and requested a refund. They ignored this, and sent an unsolicited replacement, which was also not as described and arrived damaged. I repeatedly requested a refund, but my requests were ignored or delayed.
The products lack the required CE safety marking, meaning they cannot legally be sold in the UK.
Despite continued emails with the company over the last 3 months, giving every opportunity to resolve the issue, no satisfactory solution was offered. I have now initiated a chargeback through my bank.
Not worth the hassle. Order elsewhere.
Shocking Experience
Avoid Lunaralights.co.uk – scam return policy and terrible customer service
I ordered several lights from Lunaralights.co.uk. One item, worth £144, arrived in awful quality. When I requested a return, they forced me to ship it back to China at my own cost (£40).
The item reached Shanghai, but FedEx informed me the recipient refused to accept it and even instructed FedEx to destroy it. Despite this, Lunaralights refuses to issue a refund, claiming they can’t process it until their “central warehouse” receives the item – which they have twice refused to accept!
I’m now stuck in a ridiculous loop: Lunaralights makes excuses, FedEx is pressuring me to pay more to get the rejected item shipped back, and I’m out £184 with nothing to show for it.
This company is a scam, hiding behind a shady return policy and offering zero accountability. Save yourself the stress, wasted money, and frustration – do not buy from Lunaralights.co.uk.

I purchased three lights from this company. Two arrived in the wrong colour—tellingly, they didn’t even request them back, which should have been the first red flag about the negligible value of their products. The third light cost £144, yet the quality was shockingly poor—flimsy, cheap, and nowhere near the price paid.
When I raised this, I was offered an insulting 20% refund. Following their instructions, I spent an additional £40 to return the item to China, only for their warehouse to refuse delivery and instruct FedEx to destroy it. As a result, I am now nearly £200 out of pocket with no resolution and no support from the company.
This is not just poor service—it is a calculated operation designed to take your money and provide no accountability. Their products are substandard, their customer service is obstructive, and their practices border on fraudulent. Avoid this company entirely.
Terrible experience, give them a miss
I have bought several items from this store and found that:
1. LED lights that were advertised as dimmable were in fact just changing the LED colour from bright white to yellow and did not work correctly on a dimmer switch
2. Unable to return items unless you ship them back to China at your own cost!!
3., I am now very worried about the quality of out-door lights that I bought as they may not be CE compliant..
My honest advice is to not use this company, you will save yourself time, money and very possibly your own safety!
Also interesting that their Website is now not available. Have they shut shop after receiving too much heat from customers and credit card companies?

Very disappointing experience with this company. Do not take responsibility for goods damaged beyond repair dysfunctional Christmas tree illumination. Pay postage to return the item to an address in China! Reading the refund policy does not reflect or resolve tbe ongoing issues with this company.
Awaiting for a replacement confirmed 30/8/2025 a purchase made 13th July. The item is in transit from China. I do not hold much hope of receipt.
Don’t fall for the London branding - fake China based brand
Don’t fall for the London branding! These are drop shipped from China!
I almost immediately tried to cancel the order as I realised they weren’t class II lights (doesn’t specify on the spec, which isn’t uncommon but an easy mistake to make) so I emailed to cancel - they refused. I then couldn’t return them when they arrived weeks later as they claimed not to have a UK address, it would’ve cost over £80 to send the 2 lights back and the company wouldn’t refund if they were damaged in transit. Customer service kept trying to persuade me to keep these surplus to requirement lights for a 20% refund which just isn’t good enough over weeks of emails. Total scam!
Perfect Bedroom Lamp
This lamp fits perfectly on my bedside table. The tone of the light is calming and warm. I love the fabric texture on the shade. It helps me wind down at night. Would definitely purchase again.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Still waiting on my light fitting that I ordered months ago. Sent several emails and they are absolutely no help and are blaming the courier company (Royal Mail) I have no choice but to take this to a small claims court now as the light fitting was very expensive.

The very clunky system they use told me my order had not been processed, leading me to place what subsequently turned out to be a duplication. No order confirmations were received. Thank Despite me making immediate contact with the company, they refused to cancel the duplicate. Lunara will not credit me unless I return goods to China at my cost. Do not trust this organisation

Deception
The company appeared to have a English based contact. I changed my mind on my order almost immediately and attempted to cancel the pending order. I received a quick response stating not possible.
I requested the company pay for return of post. I received a quick reply stating not possible.
The address then provided to return the items for me to pay was in China. Return address on the package was for Cannock.
Completely deceptive. No way I’m getting my money back.
Although was offered a 15% return on product if I didn’t want to pay for the cost of returning the item to China.

Ordered what was advertised as wooden light, looked stunning. Delivery was to be days and all in all the company had a good website and stacked up. BUT .. not only did it take months to get them, when they arrived, from China, they were very cheap plastic and nothing like the lights advertised. I asked for a refund and that is when the issues began ... 20%/30% .. must return.
Terrible company and now fighting the CC company for my money back, and that has taken months too. They lie to them as well.
Check out their company structure ... I have reported to HMRC .

Poor company, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY
Poor company with poor customer service. I ordered some lights from this company which took over a month to be shipped. I refused acceptance and the Evri delivery driver returned the package to the depot. It is now almost a month since Evri have confirmed that they didn't deliver the package but LunaraLight is yet to refund me and is suggesting that I speak to Evri.

Chargeback needed for dangerous lights
I got dangerous lights advertised as IP65-rated outdoor lights. Lights barely safe for indoor use (no earth, no rating, fake CE mark) with missing paint and cracks in plastic. Company policy states prepaid return label for defects but they insist on return to China at your cost (you can't rely on their Ts and Cs). Responds constantly 15%-20% money back but stuck with it and got refund after triggering Chargeback (you will end up doing this).
