Avoid Lunaralights London
Avoid Lunaralights London – Terrible Quality & Customer Service.
Do not buy from Lunaralights London. Despite the UK address, they are actually a China-based company operating under a London registration.
I ordered a pendant light and waited 20 days for delivery. When it finally arrived, it was defective and of very poor quality. I contacted the company immediately, and instead of offering a proper resolution, they offered a 15% refund and insisted I keep the faulty product.
I made it clear I wanted a full refund and prepaid return postage, as their own website states they cover postage for damaged items. They refused — and then told me the return address would be in China, despite selling through a UK-facing website.
After 19 emails, all they did was repeat the same scripted response. The issue was never resolved. Their customer service is awful — easily the worst I’ve ever experienced.
It feels like a scam, and I strongly advise others to stay away. Save yourself the time, stress, and money.

Re done reviews after parcel eventually arrived
Lights eventually arrived last week but not the quality expected as a few not working due to carrier throwing the parcel over the gate once he got the photo to prove delivery. The company have refunded me also so can’t complain now. What I would say is I may have been a bit naive thinking that the lights were from a company in the UK but they clearly come from China and that could have been the delay, the company should really not give a 10 day delivery time. This is also why the quality is not maybe what was expected.

Oh dear. Yes, wish I’d read the trust pilot reviews. Definitely a scam company from China. I paid £90 each for my lamps which I thought was a bargain because they were end of line and they looked beautiful in the pictures. But in reality they are probably worth no more than £15 each. They took ages to arrive and I began to smell a rat. Complete rubbish, won’t even bother trying to return them, sadly they will go straight to landfill. Beware!! The internet can be a treacherous place.

Zero stars would be more appropriate. Dreadful company, appalling service with light still not materialised after almost two months. After waiting all this time and receiving nonsensical messages from them in response to my chasing the order, I cancelled and issued a charge back via my credit card, but this company still wrote to me saying the lamp is on its way after having been ‘delivered back to us by mistake’ How any company can survive with this kind of service is beyond me. AVOID!

This Company is a FRAUD!
I ordered an expensive lamp from Lunara Lights nearly a month ago. It arrived so late that I was already on holiday by the time it was delivered. Worse still, the courier they chose – Evri, a company notorious for poor service, simply dumped it in a communal hallway of my flats, unsecured and without a signature. Unsurprisingly, by the time I returned, it had vanished.
Since then, I’ve been forced to deal with an endless stream of unhelpful, copy-and-paste responses. Their emails feel either AI-generated or written by someone who doesn’t even understand the situation. They repeatedly told me to “file a complaint with Evri” (which I had already done, with no response), or to “check CCTV” (there is none, which I told them multiple times). Their latest insult was to suggest I drive 50 minutes to the nearest Evri depot to solve a problem that is entirely their responsibility. They are the customer of the courier, and it is up to them to sort this on behalf of their customer.
Lunara Lights have refused to take ownership, despite the fact that I am their customer, not Evri’s. They took my money, chose the courier, and have done nothing to resolve the situation. They’ve ignored my requests for a refund or a replacement, and continue to hide behind excuses.
For all the reviews that claim this company is a scam – I totally agree. Their website claims they are based in London, yet everything about this order screams they are 100% based in China, which would explain why my parcel took nearly three weeks to “arrive”.
I would rather do star jumps on a Lego set than ever trust this company with my money again.
Avoid this company like the plague.

Scam company pretending to be UK-based. AVOID!!!!
If it was possible to give zero stars, I would. Ordered pendant lights, order was delayed and tracking clearly showed item was damaged but the item was delivered anyway. Requested refund and they want us to send the item back all the way to China at our own expense. Scam company pretending to be UK-based. Positive reviews on here most likely fake. Customer service manned by bots. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Just got an email from the company at 11:28 today 26/07/2025 which says this:
To help expedite the refund process, I kindly request that you update your review on the platform where you originally left your feedback. Once the review is updated or removed, please share a screenshot with us, and we will prioritize processing your refund immediately. This will allow us to effectively address your issue while maintaining our commitment to your satisfaction.
They are basically trying to manipulate me into removing my review for a refund. This is against the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 and the Consumer Right Act 2015, which basically shows you how much of a scam this company is.

Do not purchase from this company. I contacted the company to understand if returns were possible, before making a purchase. After an email confirming that returns were possible, I bought a selection of lights in different colours. After 3 weeks, the first lights arrived and were not the required standard. I was then informed that for a return I needed to send the lights back to China, at my own expense - £107! Do not buy from this company, they are not London or UK based as advertised.
