I ordered three beautiful pendant lights. Our electrician installed them at the end of our kitchen Reno and found that one of the lights didn’t work because the wiring was faulty. Because id ordered... See more

Do not use this company
Do not use this company. Website is deliberately misleading - making out they are based in U.K. Website shows expensive looking lights but what arrives is cheap and nasty looking. No phone number to contact anyone. Goods sent from China with no instructions. Extremely expensive for poor quality product a complete scam - feel stupid for being taken in by their website.

Wish I'd seen the reviews before…
Wish I'd seen the reviews before buying. I tried to get a refund but in the end I settled for 20% of what I'd paid as it became so difficult to get. The instructions for the light was in Chinese and although they did send me instructions in English tgey weren't for the lamp I'd bought. Don't buy from them as you lose your rights as a customer.
I have just read the second reply to my review. (The first reply seemed to imply that I wasn't a real customer!) and I'd like to add that although the emails were always polite it wasn't easy to get a 20% refund or to get the return address. I believe I got the return address after the 4th email.
It is important to read what they have said on their website regarding returns. Be sure that what you buy really is what you want because trying to return something is very difficult. I now have something I won't use and have lost money.

Complete and utter shite
Complete and utter shite. Lies, lies, and more lies; and eventually what arrives is complete shite. If there was a way to give it minus ten stars, I would.

Terrible quality item, prob unsafe
Terrible quality item. Basically delivered bare wires and shades. No earth wire, no choc box to group wires to wire to anything. No instructions. Would not trust this item to wire in to the mains in my house, not worth the risk, the house would probably burn down. Absolute tat.
I doubt it would be legal to sell this in the uk.

Do not use this company. To date no goods have been received, they will not give a refund and at present we are pursuing them legally to recover money. Avoid at all cost and report them to Google.

This has been one of the worst shopping…
This has been one of the worst shopping experiences I’ve ever had. The product I received was completely misleading and took an unreasonably long time to arrive. When I tried to resolve the issue, the company offered small incremental discounts (10%, 15%, then 25%) as an attempt to convince me to keep the incorrect item, rather than addressing the real problem.
To make matters worse, they tried to discourage me from returning the product by warning that if it gets stuck in customs or damaged during the return, it might affect my refund — a tactic that felt more like intimidation than support. According to UK law, this responsibility lies with the seller, not the customer.
Their customer service has been appalling. We attempted to call them directly, but the number provided doesn’t work. They refuse to take responsibility for the return shipping and continue to dodge accountability.
I’m now left with no option but to escalate this issue with my bank. I would strongly advise others to be cautious — this company does not stand behind its products and shows no interest in resolving issues fairly.

Lunaralights cheats
Lunaralights cheats, because they show you pictures of lamps that look expensive and exclusive, whereas what I received looked very cheap, moreover defective. Also they makes it looks like they trade in UK, but in fact they are online shop in China. As it is difficult to claim compensation from an online shop in China, I decided not to. Stupid of me to be taken in, bad experience.

This company is a scam
This company is a scam. I ordered two lights. They took about three weeks to arrive. The lights were packed terribly: broken polystyrene, a bulging box. But the real issue is there is no certification or specification documentation. They were unable to supply these docs when I asked repeatedly. These lights are therefore not suitable to connect to mains. You risk invalidating your insurance.
These lights are also illegal to sell in the UK. When I complained, they insisted I ship back to China (they market as a UK company) at my expense. There was also a promise that if “something goes wrong in the shipping my refund would be invalidated.” This is all in contravention of my statutory rights.
I am now seeking a refund through my credit card company.
In short, a scam. Avoid.

Chinese rubbish and dodgy company
The light is a poor quality light from China with no instructions. I contacted the company via email
Asking for instructions in English, there was no response. The telephone number for customer service is no longer in use. Dodgy company selling cheap tat from China and charging high prices with no customer service. Avoid!

Avoid this company at all costs!
If I could have given 0 stars, I would have!
I placed an order on 18th February and in the confirmation email was informed that as my item was delicate it would take a little longer to arrive. I straight away contacted Lunara to see if the order could be cancelled as it was likely that they would not arrive by the time our electrician had finished work at our house. I was however reassured that the item would be with us quickly.
I chased the order on several occasions between then and receiving the product, tracking information was useless and I was given the same excuses of ‘the courier has not updated their page yet’ which is not true as the product was not even with them until a couple of days before delivery actually happened and then updates were accurate and efficient.
I had not realised that goods were coming from China. If I had, I would not have placed the order in the first place. I know this is on me.
It took nearly 4 weeks to receive the product and when I opened it, I saw that there was no Earth wire included so it couldn’t even be used safely in the UK unless we pay someone to make them safe. Needless to say we had already had other lights fitted weeks before our order even arrived with us!
I contacted Lunara on several occasions explaining that we should be refunded for a defective product that cannot be used safely in the country it’s been sold into but all I was offered is a 25% refund (which started at 15%) or to pay for the return (to China) myself and wait for a full refund. On their website it says they will pay for a return if the product is defective but they told me more than once that they did not pay for returns and that our product was not defective.
It seemed like most of the times I contacted them they were learning about the issues I was having and trying to resolve for the first time and I genuinely thought that the responses were being written and translated via a chatbot.
I contacted my bank twice during this process, the first time was before I had received the product so I had to wait until 30 days had passed from placing the order for a refund for an undelivered product. As it happened, the product did arrive but was substandard, I didn’t contact them straight away as was trying to sort everything through the company which was just a waste of time. When I contacted the bank again on 2nd April, within 2 hours the bank had refunded me for the item. Within 48 hours Lunara sent me another email saying that they understood my frustration, thanked me for my patience and that I had to return the goods to them at my own expense. I also received a separate email two minutes after this one stating that my refund was on the way. So they were consistently contradictory right until the end!
I have now received my refund but I only received it after contacting my bank.
Just avoid them, they are not based in London, or in Germany as one of their email addresses suggests. They are unhelpful and many of the products can’t even be used over here!

Long Delivery timescales and lack of order tracking
I have placed 4 orders and every order I have had to wait a minimum of 8 weeks to arrive, 2 items out of the 4 orders have been defective and I have had to sent a minimum of 10 emails to get this resolved with no cash back or discount

Do not buy from this company
Do not buy from this company. They are china based and the products are cheap which you can buy from Temu for a fraction of the price. They claim to be a London based company and offer a 30 day back returns policy but when you ask to return the product they insist that you send it back to china however the returns label on the package is uk based. This is obviously to put blocks and high expenses for the consumer hoping they won’t bother to return. They are not allowed to insist on this as they are claiming to be uk based. If anybody’s going through similar send back to the return address on the packaging and report to your bank and they should return the money back to you. There’s so much deceit on line it’s infuriating 😡

Beautiful lights, loooong wait for them
The pink marshmallow lights are gorgeous, and look every bit as fabulous as we hoped (and more). However the wait time was waaay too long, and it extended from 10weeks to 12weeks. We had no idea the lights were coming from China (the company has a UK website)! They were well packed, in polystyrene, though one globe still had a small crack (which after 12weeks wait we decided not to make a fuss about). Customer service was friendly but nothing was achieved by contacting them. 10 for the lights, 6 for the overall experience.

Lunarlights IS NOT a UK company.
Product quality was good for the lamp I purchased. However finding out after making purchase that the product is shipping across the globe and will take weeks, is unfortunate and should be made VERY clear to start with. This IS NOT a UK company. Only a UK version of their website. They have multiple identical businesses trading under the same style of website. Be very clear.

I’d give them zero stars if I could. Not London based, 5 weeks to arrived. I refused delivery (within your rights) and asked my credit card to do a chargeback because they were delaying on the refund. Wish I’d done my research.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!
Absolutely diabolical as a company I received a faulty light and I am being told that a replacement has been sent which I didn’t ask for I have asked under customer rights a full refund several times!! Keep getting the same old bullshit email from a lady called Sofia (mistalamp).
I’m in the process of reporting the company as they haven’t even allowed me to make a complaint.
It’s one of the worst company’s I’ve ever had experience with and I wish I had seen these reviews prior.

Scammers!
Like all the others, I was also scammed by this company. But sounds like I was on of the "lucky" ones who actually received their item. The quality was shocking, and questionable safety standards.
I attempted three times to contact the company to initiate a return and didnt hear back from them, which was fortunate as evri quoted £60 to courier back to China.
I opened a dispute with my credit card provider and definitely recommend that anyone battling with these scammers to do the same. Ive also reported to trading standards, and again recommended that you also do this, as the more complaints the more likely it is to be investigated and shut down.

Worst company to deal with I ordered a light which when ordering it ,said it was in stock. I then waited eight weeks for it. The item that turned up wasn’t like what I had ordered. I had to return it. It cost me £30 to return it to China
