Misleading information on website - Stay away from them
I have ordered a ceiling light with a 5-7 day arrival as indicated in their website. It took over 6 weeks during which I had to buy alternative light. They are now asking me to return the item to china and pay for it and be liable for any risk of delays in the border and rejection. This was not communicated. They act like this is a business based in Europe with 'free shipping in the UK' It's a total scam. Do Not buy !
The reply they have provided below is not correct. There is a long thread of correspondence with a ‘Sofia’ from Lunaralights. Seeing other comments on this company on Trustpilot, strongly recommend to stay away from them!

Scam - please avoid
As everyone else mentioned the website is a scam. It's not London based, the registered London address is useless as you can't really return to that, they do not deliver in 5-7 days as they state on the site and they don't guarantee your money back as again stated on the website. All the items come from China in 2-3 weeks, the quality is very poor and they don't give you your money back even if the item is faulty. I have raised a dispute payment with my bank. Please all do the same so the company account can be flagged as scam. I have raised the topic with Google as well. I hope they stop operating soon...
Adding one of the order numbers here 5601 as they are continuing their scam attitude with the reply. They know my name pretty well as we have exchanged many emails even until yesterday. I did have 4 orders at the same time with them unfortunately - all very bad quality

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
The worst company I have dealt with in 20 years. Fraudulently present themselves as trading in London when this is clearly a scam. Goods shipped from China, took 3 weeks and then arrived damaged and now the cost to return the item TO CHINA is borne by the customer. This is likely to cost more than the item in question, and I would have zero trust in ever receiving the refund. Absolute fraudsters - avoid avoid avoid!!!
Just like every other response I got from the company, the reply to this review is from a Bot. Disgraceful.

As other reviews, avoid this company. I received the product within specified time but no installation instructions! And when asked, they didn't have any. I wanted to return but would have to pay shipping to China. They did give a discount, but not much use.

They would not refund after requesting due to horrendous lead in time. Contacted my bank who credited me. Scam site. As stated by others avoid at all costs. Don't be fooled by the better quality pictures....

This company is a scam! BEWARE. They claim to be based in UK but are operating somewhere in China. They have taken our money and have disappeared. Advertised a lamp as a lava lamp.
It didn't have any lava in it, instead it has a rolled up piece of wallpaper to give a 'lava effect'... £130.
The lamp broke as we attempted to remove the bulb.
Lunara Lights refuses to refund my money for the misleading and faulty item. I will be contacting the Ombardsman.

Yup, as everyone says this is a Chinese company posing as a British brand and selling cheap bad quality stuff and I was totally shamefully scammed as well.
I don't see any British safety standard written on the product. So I wouldn't leave it plugged in if you want to protect your house and your loved ones from potential hazard.

Scam Company - Received a scratched piece of platic
I am so mad at myself for ignoring those reviews. I did not imagine that in 2025 you could still get scammed by paying for products on the internet and receiving fictitious products. I received a white dome of scratched plastic with a 5 cm long cut off electric wire. The company refused to honour their terms of issuing a refund (their site also said they would pay for returns for a defective item and they did not). They offered me a 15% refund if I wanted to return my plastic dome. Please don't be as stupid as me and do not buy from this company. If you see any positive or even lukewarm review anywhere - they will be from the company itself.

Absolutely awful
I wish I had have read these reviews before purchasing. I have lost £180. The light didn’t arrive, they say it has. The delivery confirmation photo shows a parcel in a van. I have shared this and the photo with them, and all the tell me to do is contact my local courier. What a joke we don’t have local couriers, it could be any company. They haven’t delivered what they were suppose to, I have requested a refund and explained the consumer rights act and distance selling requisitions, to which I receive AI generated responses. My order number is #4877 incase there is a response saying they can see my order.
Truly awful, avoid avoid avoid. I have reported this company to TS. I want my refund that I am legally entitled to and all they keep saying is contact the delivery company.

Product quality is poor.
If you want to return the item, you will have to pay return postage to China. In my case the item was delivered after 30 days and according to consumer law the seller should then pay the return costs. They have refused. I paid on my credit card and have now raised a dispute with them.
If you're not sure what rights you have you can use something like chatgpt to ask questions.
Be under no illusion these are scam artists. If you are stupid enough to order from them after reading these reviews, at least buy on your credit card. This way, when it goes wrong, at least you have some recourse.

Very similar experience to others: tried to cancel my order but was told it was too late, the parcel didn't arrive for another 3 weeks, ended up spending £55 to return a £150 lampshade to China. Lunara Lights 'London' is a rather misleading way of branding this company. Only order from them if you know you will be happy with the product.

Was exceptionally worried about my lights after finding out that this is a drop-shipping company. The website does give you the impression that they are UK based. THEY ARE NOT! All the responses do seem 'bot-like' and you cannot change your order after you've placed it - obviously as drop shipping. BUT, the lights did arrive (after about 3 weeks) and they are lovely!! So, don't despair!.. It is a bit dodgy and 'half a scam', but not all is lost.
