DO NOT BUY anything from magicstyler

Purchased this product for vacation and used it once before the product pulled my hair into the heater element I smelled my hair burning, quickly turned it off. I replugged it in again (pulled out about two hairs) and now the airflow is half of what it was. Not enough to dry your hair. So now it is useless and the supplier will not return any of my four emails requesting a return of the product. Do not buy this product! The supplier will not make good on their 30 day return policy.

As others have said DO NOT buy from this company.
I have sent countless emails asking for return info and only received one email back saying they will refund 15% of my total order . Declined this and asked again for return address.... no reply.
Emails bounce back etc. Total ripoff

As others have said

As others have said, this company is a scam! I actually received this product, after waiting 4 weeks for it to arrive! When it did arrive, box was badly damaged, accessories in the inner plastic packaging were not where they should have been! In the last week, I have sent Customer Service, 4 emails, saying I want to return this product, because it’s not fit for use! I also have a 30 day money back guarantee, if I’m not happy with this item! They have not answered any of my emails! They are in breach of there sales pitch, on the website, also they are advertising on Facebook, which is where I saw this product! They claim if you are not happy with the Magic Styler, you can return this with the 30day money back guarantee, as long as you speak to Customer Service first, to start the return! I paid £39.99, for mine, other people have paid less! How is this Company called Magic Styler getting away with this! Facebook, or any of the other websites should now be made aware of these companies that they are still letting them advertise, and take genuine people’s hard earnt money, and not doing anything about it! There’s enough complaints on this website alone, to make others aware, before they go to buy this product, that they are not a reputable company! And you will be ripped off! I’m now in touch with my bank, and I’m hoping they will Refund the money I’ve lost! So it’s still a waiting game! (SO BEWARE) of any of these companies! Also below in your drop down box, the company I ordered from was not called them! It was another company called Magic Styler! Or are they all associated with each other!

It’s all a trick, only ever 4 curling left, they get your money and maybe 1 out of 100 get the item

Very sad the response to people who trust others still. I only gave one star but couldn’t find the option for none. We won’t put up with all this trickery anymore, we have had enough. Unfortunately a good business may also be included because it’s hard to distinguish them anymore. I havent received my curling product for a birthday gift and used the last of my money this month
They won’t even answer an email but you can get a refund through your bank who have the powers to retract the funding you parted with.
These people may eventually get an odd one out but for most we are left stranded. What they give they will receive. Bless them for feeling so in need to trick vulnerable customers. Don’t buy from them you can purchase from uk after checking, but the hassle alone just isn’t worth it. Pity though as it could have been a good outcome.
I and many others have reported them and put up truthful reviews.
I should have realised when it always says on website only 4 remaining. As it says the same over and over. I should have listened to my intuition and stayed away. Lesson learned. I will get refund but wouldn’t if I had left it to late. All those picture reviews are not real. People seem to be able to say whatever they want these days and make sites look truthful, gone are the days when people actually cared how they treated others, except for small majority me being one.

Awful company

Awful company, poor quality product which doesn’t deliver any results as advertised and the company breaks basic consumer rights by no returns process. I have been chasing them since the item arrived on 3rd November 2023 (they also seem to have rebranded in the time between 3rd November and now - so had to identify a new email address as my emails had started generating delivery failures mid-discussion - without a conclusion on the case - dodgy) to return and get a refund —they keep offering me discount vouchers rather than refund as I’ve bought the item discounted apparently (which I didn’t know I had) - total scammers, avoid at all costs!!!

Hair Curler is a fraud from start to finish

This is a fraud from start to finish. The ads on social media are fake, showing a quality hair curler but the thing you will actually receive is completely different. If it arrives at all...

They have changed their name three times in recent months - they are Kurlisse now, but it was Magic Curl before Christmas and previously Borelia London. They are NOT based in London, they are a Chinese drop shipping scam.

Despite saying they have a 14-day money back guarantee, they do not honour this.

So first of all you will not receive the item for for weeks. You will reply to the order email to complain and start a refund, requesting a UK address for return. That email will bounce because they've moved on. I tracked down a valid email from other Trustpilot reviews and did manage to raise a reply.

Here's where the delaying tactics come in. They will ask you send photos of the unused item. Mine is not even unwrapped from its shipping packing. They will tell you that their 'services' or 'logistics' are reviewing the photos. Eventually they will change their approach and offer you a 50% voucher as partial refund to use on something else from their shop. As if you would! And then they stop replying completely.

This is deliberately to delay you past the 14 day return period.

I have an open case with PayPal in the vain hope that I will get my money back that way. Don't be drawn in like I was - avoid any company selling a '5 in 1 hair curler' and just buy the real thing.

Scam, misleading sale of goods

Scam! Don’t part with your cash!
When you look closely at the promotional videos and the pictures of the item its not the same.
You receive the item in the shopping pictures which is rubbish!
Major issue is the intake vent catches hair and your left no choice but to pull it out causing breakage.
The airwrap tools are rubbish! I have very fine hair but it really struggled to pick up hair never mind have enough heat and suction to curl it.

As for ‘money back guarantee’ forget it! Total lie.
First try actually finding an email address that doesn’t bounce back. I had luck with contact magic-curl com

They asked me for details on the fault which I had already stated, then wanted videos, now they have sent it to a service manager to review. It’s now been 3 weeks since I requested to return.

Not a SCAM, but terrible Comms

Editing my previous 'this is a SCAM' review. The Item purchased did eventually turn up, and was actually as described, although the labelling/packaging referenced a different company.
The 5-1 hair-dryer/wrap tool looked the same as advertised, and wife seemed happy with it.
However, the contact email on the sales page did not work (mails returned by postmaster) and as such, there was zero communication with the seller and no way to query them (outside of auto delivery update emails)- presumably this led to a number of 'SCAM' alerts.......I see that a lot of people have advised scam, but wonder if the item ever did arrive ?

I can’t believe I’ve fallen for this

I can’t believe I’ve fallen for this. Ordered on 18/11/23. Still not arrived. Contacted them and no reply. Dreading it arriving now, if it does, from reading these reviews.

If it seems too cheap to be true, trust your gut, the offer will be too good to be true.

I just wish there was more that could be done to stop these companies ripping off.
£60 down the drain for me! :(
