Migration of email wasn't smooth!
Finding out HOW to get help was very difficult. I'm elderly, a user, not a techie!
However, once I got through to Roberto, it was easy. He was a star. Patient, without being patronising, he listened, spoke clearly and took things in "chewable chunks". He solved my problems and I successfully migrated to the new email provider.

Sh*ttest Provider, Completely Overrated
I ordered a dedicated server expecting standard delivery times, but my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. After taking my money, they hit me with a massive delay, claiming a "RAM shortage" and pushing my server's estimated delivery date out to May 7th.
To make matters worse, their policies are designed to trap you. Even though they openly admit they don't have the hardware in stock to fulfill the order, they refuse to cancel it or issue a refund until 15 days have passed. My money is basically being held hostage for a product they cannot deliver on time.
Beyond the unacceptable business practices, the platform itself is a headache. The user interface is clunky, outdated, and incredibly poor to navigate. When you finally do need to reach out for help, be prepared to wait—their support response times are ridiculously long.
If you need reliable infrastructure and a company that respects your time and money, look elsewhere. Avoid OVHcloud unless you enjoy terrible UI, slow support, and having your money locked up for weeks with nothing to show for it.

Dedicated Game host
I have been years with OVH for my Dedicated gaming machine. Several DDOS mitigated, servers never went down. Pings are fine at all times.
I had a specific case where I had to run 2 game servers until mitigation was all completed from one to another, It was my decision to do it this way. So my player base notice nothing apart from the IP change, and the better server performances.
Now previously I asked if this could be done, and that I can cancel my commitment on the chepaer one ( it was runnin well over a year and a half ) I have been told surely. So After all is done I opened a ticket to cancel the old one, and I have been put through a lenghty conversation, be mindfull mainly because I had no idea which department to open the ticket with. But once I have been transferred to the right one, everything was wrapped up in a day, and everyone was satisfied.
Now I read a lot of reviews OVH doesnt give you support, I would say thats not true, they even given me advice when they shouldnt, as Bare Metal services as the name suggests are bare metal. You are responsible for your software, your set up and whatever might be wrong, apart from hardware issues. Steep learning curve, but in the end of it, I am able to run servers after servers for my players who genuenly enjoy them. Worht every penny, and I know OVH and their server parks and DDOS mitigation, and my efforts to make it run well, created this. Do I think they are expensive? Hell yeah, Is it worth it? I think so. So 4 star from me as a long term customer, not because they dont deserve a 5 star, but because they are on the pricey side, and sometimes the customer service just links in the same reply. Still they do their best to help, Like they did with me. I will stick around with OVH as I could not find a better one yet.
If you are looking for terrible…
If you are looking for terrible support, unreliable service, repeated technical problems, and promises they do not keep and charges to your creditcard without authorization, then you are comming the the right place.
I have put up with this company for several years, but there is a limit to how much nonsense one can take. After looking into it, there are in fact better alternatives available, both in terms of price and the services you actually pay for. And when it comes down to it, moving to another provider is absolutely doable.

If you are still unable to identify my case, I can assist you. I am the customer who informed you that you did not have permission to charge my credit card for anything other than the services I had subscribed to.
Despite this, you continued to charge me for services I was no longer subscribed to. As a result, I informed you that I would contact VISA/my local bank to initiate a chargeback.
To everyone reading these reviews, please note that many of the positive reviews appear to be written by customers who have only recently signed up for the service. In contrast, the negative reviews are often from customers with longer experience with the company.
I encourage you to read the critical reviews and form your own opinion about how the business is run. Also take the time to review OVH’s responses. They consistently emphasize that they value their customers, yet the complaints — and the issues raised — seem to be repeated over time. Their replies appear generic and strongly suggest automated (AI-driven) responses rather than meaningful engagement.
OVH responded to this one-star review by sending me this link to a page which explains how to log in to an OVHcloud account: “Find out how to log in to your OVHcloud account.” This is a clear example of how OVH responds to customer complaints regarding services that cannot be cancelled and charges made to credit cards without permission. Do you really want this? Think again!
I rest my case.
Only after considering both sides should you decide whether you want to engage with this company.

Explanation given : "the pricing changes were communicated in advance to all customers via email on 20/02/2026, informing about a tariff update effective from 01/04/2026 and applicable at the next renewal date after this period."
The price change communicated : the new price will be 19.99 monthly (so 239.88€ yearly)
And they are happy with the "explanation"... Maxime and Justine both confirm new price = 239.88€ yearly so there is no reason to complain about being invoiced 1584€ . OVHsupport is a sad joke

After 5 calls over the last 24 hours
After 5 calls over the last 24 hours, attempting to fix the problem of not receiving emails on my iphone. Today I went to a phone shop and was informed after 2 hours it was due to the passwords as no one at OVH were helping. I called OVH again and spoke to Roberto D. Roberto made time for me and after a quick phone call, talked me through changing both passwords x 2 which I did not realize I needed to do yesterday and now my emails on my phone work. Thank you to Roberto who was efficient and helpful and more to the point made time to care. If I was told in a phone call yesterday morning that both passwords needed changing then this wouldn't have dragged on. Case CS15525964.

I’m very happy with the service provided by OVHcloud. I’ve been using it for a long time and have never experienced any issues. Pricing is fair, payments are straightforward, and overall service management is excellent.
I initially purchased a domain along with hosting for my website, and later upgraded to a dedicated server to host my service: performance has been outstanding.
I also had the chance to contact support, and I can confidently say it’s among the best I’ve experienced. My most recent interaction was with Maria E., whom I’d like to thank again for her help. I connected via live chat and was assigned a support agent within moments; they assisted me immediately and resolved my issue quickly.

They are predatory and unfriendly to long time customers.
They are predatory and unwilling to be flexible. If you rent a server and stop paying to cancel, you'll stop receiving services for the next month. Then somewhere down the line you wish to rent a new server they'll rent you even with an outstanding balance. At the end of the month they'll suspend and hold your data hostage for both payments. Even though you didn't receive service for that month you're paying for AND your data is all gone. Customer service will refuse to work with you and have no options for escalating your issue. You cannot pay for those services separately. Be warned. They will try to suck you dry if you accept any TOS.
