I’m very satisfied with the support I received regarding my issue (ticket CS15474041).
The problem with enabling automatic renewal was resolved successfully, and the guidance provided by the support team was clear and effective. The response time was also very good, which I really appreciate.
As a suggestion, it would be helpful to have the auto-renew option available directly in the customer panel, or at least include clearer instructions in the error message explaining how to resolve the issue.
Overall, a very positive experience.

Terrible service, doesn't deliver
I placed an order for VPS-1. It told me that it was a pre-order, and that it "will be delivered within 7 days" (quote). Fast forward to today, it has been 8 days, the server has not been delivered. When I submitted a support ticket during the waiting time just to see if I could get a status, support simply told me that it could take up to 30 days (???) and that I should cancel my order. This is the only support I've been provided. I've ordered from OVH before but never had such terrible service. I don't know if I've been scammed or not.
Edit: Once again contacted support. They copy-pasted their previous response saying that it can take 30 days, and to cancel my order. Absolutely disgusting support.

Cannot cancel a server. Support has stalled for over 10 days.
I have been trying to cancel a dedicated server for over 10 days and OVH support has done nothing but deflect, delay, and demand justification for a cancellation I am fully entitled to make.
The cancellation dashboard throws a "Service Not Found" error on every server on my account. The API returns a 403 Forbidden / INVALID_CREDENTIAL error even when authenticated. I reported both issues with screenshots in my very first message and explicitly asked not to be sent back to tools I had already confirmed were broken.
Support took 5 days to send an initial response, which told me to use the broken API. Since then, they have asked me multiple times to provide a "valid reason" for cancelling, as if wanting to leave is not reason enough. They raised a fake discrepancy about server names to delay things further. Meanwhile, the server remained active and I was billed for another full billing cycle.
After 8+ exchanges over 10 days, the server is still running and I am still being charged for it.
I have been a long-term customer with multiple accounts and numerous dedicated servers. This is how OVH treats you when you try to leave. They make it as difficult as possible. Avoid if you value your time or your money.

I run a legitimate URL shortener. Like any service of this kind, the occasional dubious link may slip through despite our automated filters and manual moderation. A common issue that takes minutes to fix when you're actually notified.
OVH used to at least send an email when they flagged something. The server would go into rescue mode at 3 AM, stay down for 6 hours even though the link had been removed within the hour. But at least you knew why.
Now? Nothing. Zero communication. The VPS is simply shut down from the hypervisor with no explanation. I had to dig through the system logs myself to find out OVH was the one killing my server. Support told me there was nothing they could do.
The worst part: even without receiving any notification, we still identified and removed every problematic link on our end. There are zero fraudulent links on the service. And yet, OVH keeps shutting down the VPS. Nothing justifies these shutdowns anymore, but they keep happening.
All my services go down at once for no valid reason. For this level of service, it's more expensive than competitors who actually notify you before taking action and offer real dialogue. I'm migrating. You should too.

Unacceptable 7-day delay and poor hardware
I placed an order for a bare metal server on March 31st. The order was stuck in "preparing your order" for a full 7 days with absolutely zero communication or ETAs from their support team. When the server was finally delivered after a week of silence, I checked the SMART data and found the hard drive health was significantly below acceptable standards. You wait a week just to get old, worn-out hardware. I immediately had to use the 14-day right of withdrawal to cancel the service and get my money back. Terrible customer service, unacceptable delays, and poor hardware quality. Avoid if you value your time.

We agreed in the order that the server would arrive within a week. A week passed, and then the client told me it might take a month.
This isn't the right way to operate. We have many plans built on this server, and we need it as soon as possible. I want you to expedite the order and ensure it's delivered within a week, not a month, as stated in the message. You must honor your commitments.

Worst hosting service on the planet
Worst hosting service on the planet! I am helping a friend who is a client with her website. OVH is in another era. No cashing plugins such as LiteSpeed or Redis, they say for "security" reasons. Optimisation is what it used to be a while ago - time consuming and experimental. To get to their customer service, it takes a minimum of 45min wait on the phone and sometimes it cuts and you have to start again. And of course, calls are overcharged. I have done websites with O2SWITCH (another french hosting provider) and HOSTINGER and based on experience I must say that becoming a client to OVH is causing yourself a lot of unnecessary pain.

I'm not exactly happy with OVH
I'm not exactly happy with OVH. Prices are amazing, yes - but the prices hiked recently. Billing is completely unclear, they charged me several times for completely illogical things with zero explanation (e.g: a 3 euro charge) despite me not ordering any additional service. Only real way to properly get your stuff going is by having to tediously contact support and maybe, just maybe - you might get an answer.
VPSes are often overbooked and the CPUs run on some old Intel Haswells at 2.1GHz. Please, that's terrible. I rent a 24€/mo server.. and all i get is 8 slow @ss cores?
Will cancel after april, no intent on continuing payments for this company. If you're gonna take money from my bank without any explanation and continue to double-charge me for the same month, you lose a customer.
