The process was good, only the delay from the vendors side

Rob and Katie were always quick at hand to answer any questions we had. We felt very comforted knowing we had the experts helping us through the process. I will always strongly advise anyone to speak with Rob and Katie for your mortgage in the first instance, they are the experts and you'll be so happy you did! Trust me! I can highly recommend Conor and Lizzie. Conor really knows his stuff. I was updated every step of the way and clearly advised on all aspects of the process. Conor even responded whilst he was off on his Christmas annual leave, a lot of care and thought went into the process which can be overwhelming at the best of times, especially around Christmas.

Highly recommend using the Mortgage Advice Bureau. We came across a few stumbling blocks whilst trying to secure our mortgage and our advisor (Michael Royle) really helped us to get everything sorted efficiently. Any questions we had he was quick to answer and offer his advice. Thank you Michael.

Vicky made our experience great, she is very attentive and provides a person centred approach. She is able to provide information upon request and has reassured us throughout the experience. As first time buyers we needed guidance, Vicky allowed us to feel at ease.

We had our mortgage advice from Vicky and Cassie. We couldn’t recommend them enough. As it’s our first time buying a house and applying for a mortgage we didn’t have a clue what we were doing !!
Vicky talked us through everything that happens and everything we need to get in place etc. even after we had our mortgage accepted, they helped us with everything we had to send over to our solicitors and answered any questions we had. Really fast response as well from both of them and always there when we needed them. Cannot thank you enough !

I do like the frequency of communication and quick response to emails and calls. It is because we are first time buyers, I would've really appreciated a glossary to decode some of the terminology used in house buying, mortgaging and procedures. There are at least 4 people we are dealing with and it is very confusing to understand what questions we should ask different people. A list a pdf or info graphic to break the process down would be so much better. That way we dont bother everyone with the same question and don't feel like surprises are greeting us every week and when we read the documents sent to us, we read them knowing this is the format used and is not something to be worried about or a misunderstanding. A lot of us are happy to meet on teams due to our busy schedules but perhaps it should be encouraged to meet in person first time so everyone knows how little or enough knowledge the customer has and to design support accordingly.

Went as far as to map out possible expenditure and made sure we were in the right place for the mortgage as well as pointed us in the right direction for surveys and insurance!
