PrepGo issue easily resolved

I got the prepgo for my baby shower and unfortunetly when I came to use the white flask that cools it down the screen wouldn't illuminate! I got in touch with Tommee Tippee UK via facebook messanger and was pleasently assisted by Cienna. Cienna was helpful and forfilled all my requirements for today and is arranging for a replacement to be sent out for me. I would definetly feel confident in contacting Tommee Tippee UK with any further concerns. Customer service was a 10/10. The reply was also very quick. Not yet come across any issues with their products other than this, all products are fairly priced too.

Thank you so much Cienna! You made a stressful situation feel so easily fixed.

Trusted brand with amazing customer service

I love this brand so much! I had my first baby 6 weeks ago and I have a steraliser, prep machine, bottles and an electric breast pump. I just trust the brand!

I bought a breast pump off Amazon and sadly the tube was defective but Cienna was able to help and ordered me a replacement tube and a spare for my machine! She was so quick and helpful!

I am extremely disappointed with this…

I am extremely disappointed with this product and the customer service I have received.
From the very beginning, the machine failed to calibrate correctly and would not dispense formula powder as intended. I followed all instructions provided in the manual and spent countless hours attempting to troubleshoot the issue. I also provided multiple videos to customer support clearly demonstrating the fault.
Over several days, I exchanged numerous emails with different representatives and even had a telephone call with a support agent. During the call, I was instructed to manually add formula powder to assist with calibration. Despite following these instructions multiple times exactly as advised, the machine continued to display a red warning light and failed to function properly.
What has been most frustrating is the amount of time and effort required to prove that the product is faulty. I have repeatedly provided evidence, followed every troubleshooting step, and cooperated fully with support. Yet despite this, I have not been offered a replacement or refund.
This is a product designed for parents and babies. It should work reliably and be straightforward to set up. Instead, I have spent days troubleshooting a machine that still does not perform its basic function. As a parent, the last thing you need is additional stress from a product that is supposed to make feeding easier.
Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this product. The product has not worked as advertised, and the after-sales support has been disappointing and unnecessarily drawn out.

Incompetent customer service

I am phenomenally disappointed in customer service.

I have the single manual pump (which to be clear: I LOVE) and the horn prematurely yellowed after one wash in the dishwasher.

2 months ago I was told by customer service they could send a replacement part, and I have been going back and forth with them since trying to actually get it sent. The part was initially out of stock and required me to follow-up, then incompatible diaphrams for a different product were sent instead of the horn, and when I asked for the second tracking number I was sent the first one.

I don’t know what’s going on over there, but seriously I just want my replacement part. I’ve loved your products over 2 kids now and it’s the only manual pump that fits my chest and doesn’t irritate my carpal tunnel.

I had a wonderful experience with…

I had a wonderful experience with Tommee Tippee customer support. Antony was extremely helpful in answering my questions about bottle teats and feeding. He was patient, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly, helping me choose the most suitable option for my baby.

Morgan also provided excellent follow-up support and made sure all my concerns were addressed. Both team members were friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about helping me.

I couldn’t get the website to load for…

I couldn’t get the website to load for me as I needed to get different flange sizes for the pump I just purchased. Cienna and Martin came to my rescue on the chat line and very quickly got an account set up for me and have sent out new inserts to fit. No hassle and very professional. Thank you

Perfect Prep Pro

We purchased a Tommee Tippee Perfect Prep Pro for £200 from Argos about a month ago for our new born.

Good point, it somewhat makes the bottle for you. You still need to mix the powder and water.

Bad points, not good value for money. The machine is way too complex to be worth £200. Firstly, it took 5 attempts to calibrate the smallest setting (which is equal to 4oz UK or 120ml of milk). The machine has dispensed the wrong about of powder and water on multiple occasions (wasteful).
Now that we are in a heatwave, the machine refuses to dispense any water because the water in the tank is too warm. Our tap water isn't cold enough, so the only option is to buy cold bottled water from the shop or find some ice (more money down the drain).

You are better doing it the old fashion way, boil a kettle and measure the powder by hand (which you have to do to calibrate the machine anyway), and buy a Nubby rapid cooler for £20 on Amazon. You have a bottle ready in 2-3 minutes. The machine takes the same about of time to do the same job.
Or get a Nubby bottle warmer and warm up chilled bottles from the fridge (bottle warmer about £30).

At this time, we have persevered with the machine but wish we never bought it.

I cannot comment on the customer service at this time as we have not had to contact them.

We are sorry to hear you have not had a good experience with the PerfectPrep Pro, we do understand the first set-up could take some getting use to and can feel quite overwhelming.

During this warmer weather you may notice that the temperature warning light will come on more often, the machine does have a probe which measures the temperature of the water, this is a key safety feature, that makes sure the final feed is not too hot for baby.

We do only advise to use tap water, the filter is designed to remove any impurities and bacteria.. During these warmer days we do suggest placing the water tank in the fridge to keep the water chilled until required, or you can also try popping some ice cubes into the water before little one is due a feed.

Storing the machine in a cool area away from direct sunlight or other electrical appliances which will give off heat and making sure the machine is away from the wall to allow for extra air flow.

Tommee Tippee Moda Orthodontic 18-36 months dummies.
I have always bought these dummies for my little boy since he was born and never had any issue until I bought the above mentioned dummies in blue and dark blue. My little boy has a tendency to chew his dummy at the side of his mouth now and then and after using the dark blue dummy for just a few hours and moving it to the side, he was left with a blue stain on his left cheek that lasted for almost 3 weeks. So I have now disposed of all his blue dummies, as I don't want to risk this happening again, as it looked as though my little boy had a bruise on his cheek until it finally faded.

This has all now been resolved by the fantastic customer care team Debbie and Izzy, who were attentive and understanding. Thank you so much for your help both of you, keep up the good work
