I paid $169 for a unit, and I got shipped one and gave it to my daughter on Christmas and have been trying to get support either through their indiegogo page or through their website.
This appears to be a scam, or at least, they are shipping non-functional stuff and not responding to requests..

I have owned 3D pens from 3 different…
I have owned 3D pens from 3 different companies and they have all had their faults. In fact each one has had a crucial part fail within the year. Recently my 3Dsimo multitool malfunctioned after seeing the most action of all my pens. I contacted customer support and they were simply awesome. The assistance I received was best described as sincere.

What can I say!
5* service for me, I emailed Simo to inform them of the minor error of sending me the incorrect device.
They replied to my email the very next day, offering me to keep the upgraded device. I let them know the accessories that were suppose to come with my original order are missing, they have now sent them out to me.
Let us remember that human errors happen, but the company went above and beyond to get things resolved.

Just a follow-up to my previous review. The company replied to my email, and was helpful in diagnosing the problem (at least, partially diagnosed). The fan on the tip of the 3D attachment is not functioning. Once this was determined, the company stopped communicating with me. It’s been 2 weeks, and I have emailed everyday without response. These people are crooks. SHOP ELSEWHERE!!!!
Currently going through my credit card company to dispute the transaction and recover my money. The dispute is in process. I recommend anyone receiving similar treatment to go this route.

I bought the 3dsimo multipro, I sent an email on 11/28/2019 and I'm still waiting for an answer. I returned a second and the same still no response ....
Considering the price, he could make efforts ... I am therefore very disappointed with the product and the support service.
Great Company and Quality Products
3Dsimo has very good customer service and communication. I ordered the 3Dsimo Multipro and it is a very useful tool for a great price! I found it since I was looking for a 3D printing pen, and when I compared the specs, it gets hotter than others on the market. It can melt nylon filament and has a comparable price with the competition (and includes more features than the competition which are only 3D printing pens) which is why I wanted to buy this one. It is very useful also as a soldering iron, a wood burner (which also can smooth plastic like in plastic welding or 3D printing), and a foam cutter (which I will use for high density foam in custom cases for tools, the foam is impossible to cut cleanly with a knife).
Great Product and Company
Bought a kit from 3Dsimo for my grandson and it is wonderful and so is the company. He is taking the kit to his intermediate school and doing a demonstration. He loves it. Shipping is not two days (like Amazon) but I certainly wouldn't expect it. The kit was missing a bolt and they sent it when I sent an email to them saying it was missing. Communication has been good with them. I will definitely be buying additional materials from them. Love this company.
What a piece of junk
What a piece of junk. The pen is extremely slow no matter what speed you set it to. I wrote to them and they responded by asking me for pictures and videos. I sent both and then they stopped responding to me. I have sent them dozens of messages and still nothing. I thought I was the only one, but I see here that this is very common. I contacted Indiegogo and they won't help. Maybe my credit card company can help.
Full fledged robbery
Bought the "Big Christmas Set" (Order #2204 dear Check friends in case you at least read the negative reviews). The 3D Pen was still having a blue filament inside the extruder. I thought: "maybe they did some quality control", but was soon disappointed seeing the pen was extruding plastic painfully slow (at any speed and temperature, I tried everything). It is clearly having some filament traction fault. So I tried writing to them... no reply. I used twitter, nothing, the form on the website? Nothing. Facebook ? Nada!
Not even an automated reply message or a brief note from them like "hey we got your email, we'll get back to you soon"
Just PITCH BLAK
So, they have just robbed me the money and worst of all I had to disappoint my little daughter to which I had promised to create some characters for her to play with...

Don’t buy! I bought this for my son for Christmas. Immediately upon opening, using the pen once and charging the battery there has been multiple issues.
All of the batteries (3 of them) are fully charged. He attaches it to the pen and it immediately turns reds as if the battery is dead. He has barely used the pen and we are both severely disappointed with the product. I’m guessing this is an issue with the pen. I can’t imagine we got 3 faulty batteries.
I’d love to return the whole thing but based on things I’m reading about customer service, I doubt that will occur. I sent one email to the support email a couple days after Christmas. No response. I just sent another email. This has been a frustrating and time consuming endeavor.

I purchased for my son more than one year go a 3d simo creative box including foam cutting, 3d drawing, soldering and burning. From the beginning only the 3D pen (drawing) was fine but I could not fix the external battery on the pan, because the magnets were weak. ALL !!!!!! Other nozzles did not work. They were just cold.
I sent a few emails to 3D Simo but have not received any respond. When I wrote my review on Trustpilot saying that their product is a piece of sh...t, they replied and said .... we are happy to fix it, send the pen back. But I had to pay for shipping and the value had to be no more than $10US otherwise they will not receive my parcel. I live in New Zealand, it s quite costly and with the value of $10 it s risky. I just gave up

I've just bought this product and I regret having done it. It took 3 hours t get it hardly working and the final result is that I've got a pen that constantly fails. I will try to send it back and I strongly recommend not buying it. I was very excited and waiting to get it but the final experience is deplorable.

how do i fix my pen if it is broken
I have a 3Dsimo multipro and i worked wonderful but then the plastic would not come out and made a noise. where do i take it to fix it

uh... how come a post after mine got a response from 3dsimo, but my post did not? another example of customer support?
100% bs. stopped feeding filament after 3 hrs of use. no response from "support" after many emails with videos included. im looking for a phone number, no luck so far. what does that say about a companys 'commitment to quality and customer support'. i am an avid 3d printer and will steer anyone and everyone away from this product. i really thought this was a great idea, but i was terribly wrong. i guess ill get a 3doodler.
Bad customer service and bad product
worked for 3 hours put of the box, then it stopped feeding the filament. I sent them several emails, even through their own customer service form on their homepage, and no answer for weeks!!! Once i went to their homepage and gave them an awfull review they got in contact with me. They told me to send it to them with tracking, wich is almost half the proce of the product itself. Why should I have to pay to send it back to them when it clearly is not my faulkt it'snot working. they were not willing to cover the shipping or just send med a new motor. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with, seems like they only answer you if you give them a bad review so they can save face. DO NOT BUY!!!! stay away from this company and it's products. I ended up reciving a cheap 3D pen from my boyfriends as a present and that has worked much better, in short, the company is unproffesional and their product does not work

Avoid, bad customer support
I bought the 3Dsimo 2 years ago. Product worked fine out of the box for about 5 hours. After this the top of the pen attachment actually started melting the casing. I sent 3 emails with pictures of the damage and still to this day haven't got a reply. Shortly after the pen attachment had melted, the smoothing attachment stopped working. Sent another two emails to them advising of the situation and asked for a refund. Still haven't received ANY response. I posted my issues on their Facebook page and my post was removed and nothing said. Product was great while it was working and I understand it was a Kickstarter project and could have potential issues but the total lack of customer support or effort to rectify the problem is not acceptable. Avoid this company, save yourself the hassle and purchase from a more reputable company.
Edit: I have forward on my previous emails to the email provided below. Will update once I get this rectified.
