When you buy a product

When you buy a product, you look for quality and service. I chose the best product on the market and am still happy and satisfied with the purchase. An internal component of the motherboard has recently been broken and, after having contacted the assistance and provided some photos, they changed the piece in less than 7 days without any cost, even giving me some additional tip.
Excellent, congratulations.

I ordered a 3D Simo kit several months…

I ordered a 3D Simo kit several months ago. I've done several projects. The pen itself works great and is really fun to use. I did have an issue with my power cable. I contacted them through their website and they replaced it within a few days at no extra cost to me. Great customer service! Thanks so much!

Great product

Amazing product, after using a toy-grade pen for almost two years befor it broke because, to be honest, that's what cheap products do, they die young.

So after looking for a more proffesional device, I came across the 3Dsimo, not only a 3D pen, but a plastic/wood burner, a soldering tool and a foam cutter all in one. So I decided to buy it.

And I have to say the first impressions were very positive, the packaging was sturdy and secured in the delivery box, the case it comes in is decent, keeps everything nice and organised, the 3D drawing experience is really good, the pen's shape may look awkward to hold but it's honestly not bad, the pen does make a faint noise when used and the first time you turn it on it will release a smell, but it wears off after you use it for a bit.

And if you have an issue with it, the email support team is very nice and they got back to me within the day, I had a problem with one of the attachments and they helped me with satisfaction.

Overall, this pen doesn't make you a better 3D artist but it gives you so much more freedom than the ordinary alternatives, you can smoothen, you can bend already built limbs, you can cut off a part you aren't atisfied with and reprint it.

Solid product, good support

The Simo is a solid product, with great customer service behind it.

I use 3D pens to an excessive degree. I've spent upwards of 2000 hours making things with them over the past year-ish. But they tend to be fragile - I've purchased maybe two dozen pens by now, including some rather pricy ones. Most are no longer functional.

My 3D Simo Mini worked far longer than most of the other pens I've used. Eventually, though, my exorbitant and monomaniacal drive to paint objects into reality overcame it, and the tip melted. I contacted support, and since they're no longer being manufactured, they offered a hefty discount on a new one, which I ordered (the Multipro). They even managed to dig up a functional RMA tip for the mini, so it's operational again!

3Dsimo Kit

I ordered a 3Dsimo Kit, it arrived very fast (2-3 days to Hungary).
The sales representative was very helpful:
I ordered wrong filaments for the kit, he wrote me an email about the wrong filament and changed it to the right ones
I had a little bit of problem assembling the kit, but after reassembling it 2 times it works perfectly.
I'm happy with the kit so far. :)

Product for creative people!

I bought 3D Simo Multipro few months ago and I really enjoy creating with it! It is really nice tool for creative people. You can use it for 3D drawing, soldering, foam cutting and also you can draw (burn) into the wood or leather. It works really nice. You can choose varies of filaments (ABS,PLA,WOOD, Metal, HIPS and others) you want to draw with.
I heard that more attachment are coming. Cant wait!

Great product! ..after some trouble.

Ordered my MultiPro a month ago and at first I couldn't get it to work. I was told I would be sent a replacement and after a bit of waiting for responses I got sent my replacement. I received it yesterday and after it also didn't work I was told it might have been the adapter all along. I replaced the adapter today and it works perfectly. Although I did not appreciate being left in the dark for so long, the responses I did receive were very polite and helpful and I am very happy with the working product itself.

Have just gotten mine in mail

Have just gotten mine in mail. Appears damaged or used and am trying to get a refund now. Was so excited when I ordered. But the tip doesn’t seem to work properly. The case itself seems loose as if it may be partly broken. And it won’t even melt the woo plastic I have. I am trying to get a refund currently but getting no response

VERTEX 3D USER OF MULTIPRO

My name Serge. I'm from Russian company Vertex 3D. For 3 years making 3d project with our best friends - 3d printers. Few weeks ago I purchased my new friend - 3dsimo Multipro. And used it to solve big trouble with big 3d part. I don't know how I lived without that awesome helping tool kit from 3DSiMO! I looking for professional 3d tool about month, and by chance found 3dsimo. The only one TOOL ... finally real tool, not kid toy... that maded for 3d companies. I think all 3dprinter users must to use that stuff. Its very helpful for different tasks.
P.S. Sry for my bad English! ;) Gl and HF with urs 3d friends!

Does the job well

Purchased the pen, it shipped from Czechia to the US. I've put it to use on a variety of tasks already, including soldering and cutting, and it's done the tasks well so far.

kickstater backer 1570, no item received

i backed these guys in 2015 when they were on kickstarter and paid
$135 usd and promised delivery in early 2016.
still no package or reply email or anything. i would like either what i paid for or my money back but without replying they hope we stay silent.
below is what i was promised

I waited over a month for this item to…

I waited over a month for this item to arrive. 3Dsimo did not work out of the box. They asked me to ship it back to the Czech Republic from the US at my expense ($67) to save that expense I opened the unit and sweated the solder joints (I'm ISO9000 certified) it didn't help. They refused to fix it because it was opened.

you were refused warranty repair because the device was damaged when it was opened by unauthorized personnel, by your own words: "That probably happened when I threw that piece of junk against the wall ."
If you destroy the device and brag about it, you void your warranty as with any other electronic device.

Bad customer service and worthless…

Bad customer service and worthless device.
I received a pen for Christmas 2018. A kit was ordered with a backup battery. First the backup battery is larger than the pen and came with a short cord to attach it to the pen. The pen has to be plugged in to use it but the cord is so short that it has to be practically laying on the table to be plugged into the backup battery. Also, there was no charge cable for the backup battery making it a one time use.
Tried the pen out Christmas day. It would lock up/freeze and not let you past the instructional menu, forcing you to unplug and plug it back in. After a few tries it finally let me past the menu.
The pen would work but if you turned your wrist it would short out and shut off.
We contacted the company about the lack of cord and the shorting out problem. They said they would send new cables, then nothing.
We did not receive any cables.
Contacted them again and again. They continued to say that they would send new cables.
Decided to try and use the pen. Now 5 months after receiving the pen.
It now will not work at all.
We contacted the company who says that we can pay to ship it to them and have it repaired. When asked why we have to pay for shipping to and from them the response was
"How else do you expect us to repare your device?

Don't buy anything from this company. My family wasted $300 for a paper weight.

Edit:
I understand that this is a defective product but I shouldn't have to pay to have it fixed. This is a defect from the manufacturer and should be replaced or fixed at their expense. If I had broken it it would be different.

Bad product and customer service

Bad product and customer service. I order a multipro for Christmas. The pen will not stay on, loses power and resets constantly. Contacted customer service and they said it was designed that way. I explained it was not usable and they said they would send a replacement power cable. 6 months later and nothing. they refuse to stand by their product.

Behaving like scammers. Shame on you.

I have waited 2 years for you to reply on my warranty claim. and for my battery pack you never sent me at all. Not sending customers their items are theft! And as I wrote to you from 2 different mails which you choose to ignore as soon as I explained that my problem was just this: I ordered a Christmas package 3D Simo mini +battery 2years ago. Took maybe a month or so before I finally got my pen (Wich was clearly already used). And I never received any of the other things included in the Christmas package or my battery. I actually didn’t mind it was used as long as it worked. And it did for about 2-3 months. Then it stopped working. When contacting you you choose to ignore me when I explained the situation.

Probably will deliver, but be wary.

Update: They have finally delivered.
Changed from 1 to 3 stars, as it still took an unreasonable long time and communication was very poor.
It is likely that they ran out of money and was waiting to make new sales so they could deliver on old promises.
So if you come as a new customer you will likely get what you ordered.

I really wanted to like this

I really wanted to like this, I really did and I was looking forward to making a lot of cool things with it, but it was doa. I guess it never heated up properly, wouldn't actually melt the any of the types of plastic enough to draw, or use any of the other tools. Just enough to smell bad. The tip looked weirdly burnt right out of the box too, it was really obvious. Tried working with support (admittedly I had just had a baby, so wasn't the fastest at responding), they wanted me to ship it. OK, cool. But for the cost of shipping it to the Czech Republic, I might as well buy a brand new unit. It's just a really expensive paperweight. Can't recommend.

the pen is decent but once again the service is bad.

the pen is decent but once again the customer service is terrible, the soldering attachment didn't work so I emailed them I even sent a video to prove it, and they wanted me to ship the part to the Czech Republic. its pretty expensive to ship so I asked them to send me another one. Also the soldering tips wear out easily. They are not that great. once they send a soldering attachment I will happily remove these reviews, if they send extra soldering tips I will write a good review about their product and service.
