3Dsimo 

I've had mine for about 2 years and it's still going strong I've only had one issue with them that was resolved very quickly. I love my 3d simo mini so much and they are right to call it the most versatile tool in the world. 5 stars great job!

My 3dsimo was broken. I'll go to the company with the question of whether it can be repaired somewhere. Customer service asked me to send it them. After three days I got a repaired 3d pen. I am satisfied with customer service attitude and service speed.

The pen does not work as described and the company does not answer customer service emails. Finally after involving the credit card company they replied to me. I had to pay to ship it back which cost $65 (they were supposed to send me the equivalent in filament, but they just sent the pen back) it still does not function properly. Everything we try to do with the pen does not work. The filament was stuck in the pen, it does not heat up to use as a carving tool -- and we haven't yet tried the other functions. So the pen is useless and the customer service is terrible.

I just bought a 3DSIMO and it’s been great. I honestly feel it is the greatest multi-use tool out there for makers and creators. The creative potential is unlimited! I can’t wait to make some grand projects with it. So far I have not experienced any issues and it’s been working great. I am so grateful I live in a time of such abundance.

I purchase the 3dsimo "Christmas box" for $250. We used it for about a week and it quit working. I contacted 3dSimos website to see what I need to do. Never even got a sorry for the trouble response. Nothing. Two years of trying we gave up. They are not backing their product at all. Very disappointed.

I bought the 3Dsimo KIT because I like the concept of "open source" Hardware. The assembly of the pen was not very hard and the manual made everything clear. I had to clean up one soldering blob and one interlocking piece at the Body. Before you buy a self Assembly kit, make sure you have all tools, especially a soldering iron.

All the files for the 3D pen are available on GitHub (some are a bit hidden though...). I already made adjustments to the Code and used a 3D print service to print a different tip for the pen (wich was posted as an update to the GitHub repo). I plan to add a LED near the tip :)

3D drawing works very well. The pen never clogged and filament never got stuck during loading/ejecting.

All in all I am very happy, it is what I expected. However: I *did* expect to invest some time, work and research for custom modification (I did learn quite a bunch about Arduino in the process).

Very poor customer service. Shipping was not as expected (causing me a lot of inconvenience) and company refused to refund the €10 shipping fee. They told me it was my problem to take up with the courier company. Very poor - will not be buying again.

UPDATE: There was someone home at all times - we have 24/7 security and surveillance footage to prove it if you'd like to dispute? I don't really care how small you think the issue is - it caused me a lot of inconvenience to collect as mentioned, and your customer service and disinterest is unacceptable. Your chosen service provider (GLS France) is your responsibility, and not mine. I pay you to ensure the product arrives to my door as promised - end of story.

Quality pen. You can transform your imagination to reality easily. I am truly satisfied and i can recommend this product to everyone with joy to creating things. 👌🙂

We were really excited to get this pen after all the great reviews and cool videos. Sadly, our pen had performance issues and we weren't impressed. The quality was not on par for the money spent, it took forever to heat up, and once it heated up it was still hard to get anything out. When we tried to return it, it was an uphill battle. After multiple emails back and forth, they offered to replace it if I paid the shipping to send it back (USA to Czechoslovakia). This was not an acceptable solution. Fortunately, I paid through PayPal and was able to escalate a dispute and ultimately get my money back since they flat out refused to refund me. Don't do it, there are plenty of pens that are just as good if not better for much less money, and MUCH better customer service!

I really like the 3Dsimo. It's interchangable parts are easy to attach and take off and it fits nicely in my hand. It make a bit of noise when it runs but not enough to bother me. Overall it's great the only problem I have is the size of the chord that charges the pen is really short and it's hard for me to find places where I can use the pen since it has to be hooked to the charger.

I've had trust issues with foreign companies, but as it turns out, purchasing the 3Dsimo mini 2 was a much better idea than what I used to think.

The things I enjoy most about the 3Dsimo is that it can cut, burn, weld, and print 3d sculptures all with ease. It is very easy to pick up and master within the first hour and very fun to use. With a very cheap price for the pen and a great community behind it, this is my favorite 3d printing pen.

The only downside I had was when the box was shipped, the packaging was great but the pen itself seemed to be a bit awkward. The adapter barely wants to plug into the pen, and the attachments are a bit hard to take off but, other than that there are no further issues.

This is a company that I can see developing more products and becoming more recognized throughout the 3d printing market.

I got a 3dsimo mini 2 a couple of weeks ago and this would be my review for what I've experienced so far with it.

The manual about getting started is really useful and you only need about a minute to get used to the pen. What I missed the most would be a little more explanation about maintenance and cleaning the tips.
Changing the filaments and the extensions is really easy, however, sometimes some extensions get a little bit stuck and it's necessary to be careful with them.
The only problem I had so far was the confusion about the drawing tip at the beginning (the new models are different from the pictures I saw before) but the support team is great so it was no brainer.
The app is just awesome, you can control the settings and go directly for what you need.

No complainings so far, highly recommended! :))

I purchased 3Dsimo mini 2 for my son from this company. We had small issue with the pen not related to quality, but 3Dsimo support team reacted promptly and issue was solved. Kids are happy at the end and parents too :) 5 stars.

The 3d pen is really easy to use ! I just had to use it like few minute to get confortable with the 3d hand printing with that!
I have some issues with the burner tool and the support is really reactive for my demand so it a yes!
Really cool to have a huge versatile tool like that!

I have enjoyed using the 3d pen, it works well with the phone app. I use it with a battery pack it's more comfortable. It prints well but you do need to take your time.

Up date 3Dsimo offered me a gift if I posted here and so I posted. They never sent the gift so 2 stars for not keeping your word.

An excellent upcoming company with very good customer service. The website nice and easy to navigate around. The online shop easy to purchase from and no problems with the posting. Having personally bought some of the items from the shop I look forward to using them and seeing what new items are released.

Honest company sells great 3Dsimo pen! Works great!

I have used actual 3D printers for many years and always wanted a pen. Finally I needed one for some work projects and I did a ton of research and compared many pens. The 3Dsimo is not the cheapest pen, but I think it is the best pen option available because of the large temperature range (so it is compatible with many many filaments), the adjustable temperature, etc. The pen does not take long to heat up at all (compared to actual 3D printers, the pen is much faster). I love the extra attachments. And the pen looks good too.

Some small suggestions for them: the manual can be a little clearer - some figures are not labeled properly. For me, the attachments are tight, so I use a screw driver to pry the attachment off of the pen to add the new attachment. The app is cool. But it would be more cool to make the pen fully functional all on its own. But that might make the pen bigger, so maybe don't do that.

Overall, I'm totally satisfied.
