Bastion Hotels Reviews 

Thanks to all your staff for making our two night stay very enjoyable. Our circumstances required special understanding with the fact that my spouse had a mobility issue: she had recent knee surgery 7 days before we checked in and was on crutches.

Also the dining area offered a pleasant space for us to spend an afternoon visiting with relatives over a drink and snacks.

We hope to stay with you again on our next visit to Leiden.

I booked for the 2nd time in this hotel in a week time. The first was not a good experience but when I came back, I have got exceptional services. The receptionist was serving us a king, the room was clean, and all the chief was trying to serve as in a special cook considering our exceptional requirements. In general we have got a great hospitality from the hotel.

Amazing staff at the counter, very friendly and helpful.
Calm and quiet rooms, looks identical to the description pictures.
Free parking (a luxury in Amsterdam..)
Not far from the city centre.
Well maintained hotel, unbeatable prices, I really enjoyed the stay!

(the one thing that I wouldn't mind differently is the fact that the toilet doors are frosted glass, and can't be locked.)

I stayed here last minute due to booking the wrong flight date. I was extremely exhausted and upset of missing my flight but staying at this hotel made my experience that little bit better. The man on the front desk was lovely. I didn’t get his name but he was just so welcoming and happy I have never experienced a receptionist be so kind and very helpful. The room was perfect so clean, the food was delicious too! If I find myself in Amsterdam again I would definitely be staying :)

The staff was helpful. Room was clean and neat.
The hotel bed mattresses and pillows were average, could have been better.
The domestic cleaning services were of good standards.
Our baggage and laptop was secured inside the rooms.
The space between sink and the toiletry sill ( splash zone ) was very narrow It was difficult to wash face.

Rooms were comfy, staff was amazing , especially us bits with the tea in the morning, staff amazing , rooms clean , free shuttle service throughout the whole day to airport and major train tram links , was very ideal , will definitely visit again

It is a super cozy hotel, it has good space in the rooms and impeccable cleanliness. And the work team is very professional and pleasant.

It was the second time I was staying with Bastion Airport hotel and it was as usual very good.

Very good value for money. The location, free shuttle and free parking was very convenient. All in all a very pleasant experience.

The room was quiet which was especially impressive since it faced a busy road. I really appreciated the coffee machine in the room. The room was spacious and bed was comfortable.

The room was very clean and a good size. Shuttle from the hotel / airport every ten minutes. Breakfast was tasty and staff were professional. Will be back!

I think the group department sucks!
I have been writing for a month ago regarding groups in The Netherlands next year - but I have got absolutely NO response!

What about shutting this department down, and then let the specific hotels handle group requests - like all other hotels does!

By not answering e-mails, this will mean you loose clients - because they book elsewhere - where e-mails are answered!!

Great staff and services! The room was cleaned daily and towels changed when needed.
Staff has always been prompt and available to answer our requests.

I had a great time, reasonably priced and I appreciated the airport shuttle, it was very helpful moving to and from the airport. The rooms were always clean excellent housekeeper and the receptionist Gabrielle was very helpful as well as the other staff and the kitchen staff, excellent thank you!
