Horrible

Horrible, call and order 2 shocks for snowmobile,and one shock was 6 inches smaller, other shock not even the correct design to fit my sled!! Unreal, you people are worried about money instead of keeping customers!!!

We verified against Sk-iDoo MicroFische that the shocks sold to you were correct for the make/model/year of the machine you gave us. Many older snowmobiles have been modified by previous owners and new suspension put under them, unfortunately we have no way to verify whats under your sled. We also asked you to provide us the lengths of the shocks that you had removed from the sled so we could try and match them up, but you declined. We hope you were able to get the correct parts for your machine.

Mustang seat from Dennis Kirk

I ordered Mustang seat from Dennis Kirk. When seat arrived, I realized that it's not comfortable in seating position. First, I called to customer service which is listed on their site 800-969-7501 and they told me to go ahead and use the label that was enclosed. Next day I shipped item back to them. Then week later I received a call from Ashley customer service, she was very rude, she said i never call them before I ship item, and told me that they wouldn't gave me full refund and they going to charge restocking fee 35%. She said that seat is badly scratched, and marker was used to cover up scratches. That was absolutely lie. I refused to pay restocking fee so they ship that seat back to me. When I got seat for second time and after close inspection i noticed that this seat was previously used and they sold me used or refurbished item. Please do yourself favor, buy somewhere else. I will file complaint with BBB. Will dispute charges with my credit card.

Hi Albert, sorry to hear about your issues with our return process. When you called to inform us of returning the seat, you spoke to a sales agent. We do accept returns on seats and all items that we sell, but there was no mention of any damage to the seat. We do not show any previous returns on the seat and show you were sent a new seat in original packaging. When your return was received it was then noticed there was scratched and gouges in the seat that were attempted to be covered with a permanent marker. If these marks were on the seat when you received it, surely you would have called us for receiving a used product? When we receive an item back in this condition it cannot be resold as new and its not a warrantable issue therefore we end up with a product that has to be discarded and need to deduct off the return. The suggested deduct on this seat was 50% in which was lowered to 35% by the customer service rep. We will still take this seat back and will lower it to 20% if you still wish to do so.

Dennis Kirk Don't buy MAC Exhaust No Returns

I ordered a set of mac exhaust from Dennis Kirk and when I tried to install it the pipes were touchiing each other with alot of pressure and I tried to straighten them every way I could then realized I need to send them back because the tabs were welded wrong. I first called and they said to go ahead and use the label that was enclosed. I shipped them back and then received a call from them asking me why I sent them back and I explained about the problem and the lady was very rude and told me they wouldn't give my any refund whatsoever, so I asked for a manager and he was preprimed on the issue which was obvious he was vicious to me and told me he was prepared to fight any dispute I might be thinking about opening against them and hung up on me. I have been ordering from them for about 15-20 years and I can't believe this treatment they gave me about Mac exhaust, it was like they just don't want any Mac products coming back. This guy treated me so bad and he was a customer service manager. Terrible customer service I will never shop Dennis Kirk again.

I ordered and back and then was told it was on back order.

I ordered a part for a hard tail kit for a mid 2000's dyna from Dennis Kirk and at first was told 10 days to receive part from the company they order from for them to get it. Then would be additional 3-5 day shipping from Dennis Kirk. I had no issue with that since they had it 30 bucks cheaper. Called at the end of 2 weeks later and was told it would be another 4 weeks out and was on back order. Bit my tongue and said that'll be fine. Checked 4 times within the 4 weeks and was continually told the same. When the day arrived at the end of 4 weeks I called again. Now it's was 6 weeks out possibly and they really didn't know. So I got ahold of the company they order from and spoke the the warehouse that actually ships this item to them. It was in stock and by directly ordering from the company making it I would have this item in 4 days. It will cost 30 dollars more but is better then being pushed around on dates for something that I'm willing to pay $300 for. This company might deal well in other areas but in my case the ball was dropped and I will just pay more next time instead of being pushed around for a date that will never come.

Hi Jay, sorry to hear of your issues with the back order and we understand your frustration. Dennis Kirk sells approximately 300,000 parts, and we try our best to keep them stocked. When an order is entered and there is a backorder, we use a standard text that states "Most back orders fill in 7-10 business days". This is the case for most backorders, but unfortunately not all. We do not have the means to look at each individual part number. When a customer calls after the 10 days is up, we then look to get a date from our supplier. Often times the dates are correct, then again sometimes they keep getting pushed back and we are at the mercy of them providing the accurate date. Again we apologize for the extended backorder, but please know we are working hard to try and fill them as soon as we possibly can.

I bought a motorcycle frame from Dennis …

I bought a motorcycle frame from Dennis Kirk after one of their techs assured me that it would be a direct fit for my 2003 night train. When I got the frame it had several broken welds and a bent tab. To their credit they did issue me a small refund but it cost me way more to have the frame fixed.
To add insult to injury the tech lied when he told me I could run my stock front end with no issues. I have since found out that I need special neck cups for this frame.
I received dry poor customer service and tried multiple times to speak with a supervisor and was blown off and the lady I spoke to had a real bad attitude. This is no way to run a business

Honest Review From A Loyal Long Time Dennis Kirk Customer

Been a Dennis Kirk customer for 17 years. Was shopping for a set of head pipes for my Harley. Found a company on the Internet selling Vance & Hines Dresser Duals considerably cheaper than Dennis Kirk. I called Dennis Kirk customer service to see if their "Beat It
By a Buck" low price guarantee program really worked. After a 2 minute discussion with the customer service rep, they beat the competitors price by $1. To make the deal even better, I ordered the pipes late Wednesday afternoon and they will be delivered on Friday. Bottom line: Dennis Kirk has the best customer service team, more than competitive prices, a huge inventory and processes orders lightning fast. Amazon doesn't have a thing on Dennis Kirk! The web site asked for make and model …

The web site asked for make and model and they sent it to me tried to install it was the wrong one so i sent it back they said they couldn't refund me and they didn't have my cable so i just got ripped off. I'll never do buisness with them again and i suggest you don't either.

Overall satisfaction....

This was my first time dealing/buying anything from Dennis Kirk and all I can say it has been nothing but a pleasure. I purchased a helmet from them and the price was competitive and their sure fit return and exchange program was VERY impressive, luckily the helmet fit like a glove and I got it right the first time.

Later on (2 months after purchase)
I had an issue with the shield on my helmet and the Customer Service rep was SO helpful and VERY easy to deal with. LeAnne is here name btw.
She took care of everything and as of today my new replacement shield showed up. How can you not be happy with that customer service?

I will certainly be shopping for many more items with Dennis Kirk because of their competitive prices and top notch customer service.

Rude Customer Service

I've had good luck with Dennis Kirk in the past, or it would be 1 star. This morning, 1/31/2017, 0915 CST, their website was not working on Safari, Chrome or Firefox. I called the toll free number and told the young lady their website was not functioning. She told me that was not possible, as she was on it. Funny, I could open every other page I have bookmarked. Regardless, she said go try again online, which I did, still not functioning. Called back a second time, only to be told (again) their website was functioning. I ordered V Twin engine oil, etc., that totaled about $81. I authorized her to charge my card, which she did, only to remember that any purchase $89 and over was free shipping. I told her to add another quart of tranny fluid to get it over $89. You would have sworn that I asked for her first born with my request......"now I have to call another department, etc.," as she acted totally inconvenienced. I finally said just ship my order. After, she never once said, "we can make this work, no problem." I very rarely write reviews, but wanted to today. This person was rude, condescending as though I had no clue how to reference a website, and her attitude regarding adding to the order once my card was charged. I thought Dennis Kirk was better than this. There are plenty of companies that appreciate business, and will go as far down the road as possible to satisfy their customers.

Arg! Website was wrong.

I ordered parts for my Atv. Initially I thought the website and super fast delivery were impressive. But the parts I ordered were not an "exact fit" as stated on the web site (which of couse I didn't discover until I tore my atv apart and tried to install said parts). I called customer service to let them know and that I expected a FULL refund due to the problem being that the web site was wrong. She was reluctant but the rep finally said she would note it, but guess what, I got only a partial refund. Plus the rep told me that the part that her companies Web site says is a "perfect fit" for my 09 only fits up to 06!!

Crap customer service for lost shipment

Ordered my tire for the lowest price and ready to have it mounted. Shipment is lost in Illinios per UPS tracking. Customer service wouldn't contact their shipper so I did, UPS is putting a trace on it that can take up to two weeks. As a customer service rep, I know that a redirect can be requested by the shipper and a replacement sent out right away. They refused. Representative was totally unsimpathetic, said it wasn't their fault.
I'm paying the extra through Bike Bandit and refusing their delivery. Probably going to need to file a dispute through my bank to get the refund.

Good Prices, Easy Returns, Great Customer Service

I've been shopping at DennisKirk for a few years now. While they don't have the widest selection of products, they do have the staples and usually have very good prices on what they do have. They have free return shipping on helmets and motorcycle gear, which I have used many times and was always refunded in a timely manner without any issue. I called the company to ask a question about a product once and they were very helpful. The company called me once after I had placed an order for the same item I had just ordered a few weeks prior just to double check that I really meant to order the same thing again. I have had great experiences consistently with DennisKirk, and just wanted to add my review here to let that be known. (Also, no sales tax for me since they are based in Minnesota and I don't live in that state!)

Sent wrong item, and it was damaged bad. Bad return service

I ordered an exhaust system. Not only did they send the wrong one, but it was severly damaged.. Not only that!! They wouldnt do a return on the item!! And it was within all of there return policy restrictions!! They offered me HALF of what i paid! Now im stuck hundreds of dollers out and have an exhaust that i cant use.. HORRIBLE customer service.. Do NOT buy from them!

Wrong product, lies and double the shipping cost.

Ordered an item on their website and they sent the wrong product. They instructed me by email to send it back and they would cover the shipping cost and send back the right item.

Took forever to receive the right item and they refuse to pay back the shipping cost.

I will not do business with DK again.
