UPDATE - JULY'21

Check that all the parts are there! Look at diagrams and pictures of the chair you are buying online etc. I couldn't understand why the head rest on mine kept slipping out of place - an annoyance that I put down to the design of the chair and put up with. However, someone has since pointed out to me that there should be a handle on the back of the chair (with the logo on) and because this was missing it didn't secure the headrest. Too late to to seek support from this company; feeling duped. Lesson learnt.

In summary, I would recommend this company. Let me explain why I've given four stars instead of five - it's to do with expected delivery dates.

I made the decision to by a Humanscale Freedom chair based on their great reviews however, the price of a new one has always put me off! Browsing all the secondhand goods websites on a Mon evening, I came across an advert in Gumtree - a reasonably priced HF chair! I reached out to the advertiser - Tom at G13 and his response was swift and agreeable...the chair would be delivered on the Thur or Friday that same week and a tracking number would be provided.

Payment for the chair was easy - Tom provided a PayPal link and the transaction went through smoothly, which Tom subsequently acknowledged.

On Thur evening I hadn't received a tracking number and decided to message Tom who replied swiftly with a reassurance that it would be delivered on Mon instead due to delays. The message was followed by a tracking number.

Monday afternoon came and went with no delivery. I messaged Tom again and to be fair to him his reply was once again swift and apologetic.

Tuesday morning Tom messaged me, as promised, to say that they couldn't fit my chair on the van so it was left behind! He would rearrange the delivery for later in the week,

On Wednesday I messaged Tom again asking for the tracking number, which he sent a short while thereafter.

The chair arrived on Thursday afternoon (1.5 weeks after I ordered it and week later than initially indicated by Tom). This is the reason for the dropped feedback star.

I would like to say that the chair is in fab condition - a real steal at the price compared to new. As for the communication - at least Tom replied to all my messages, which is good so I will finish with a "Thank you" to Tom/G13 for providing me a decent chair.

The quality of the product is as expected. Not immaculate condition but perfectly acceptable as a used product.

The communications from G13 Group are utterly abysmal. I was promised next day delivery but I was not provided a tracking number and the delivery took a few days longer than expected.

I require an invoice for my purchase but G13 have turned their phones off and have ignored my emails since June requesting a proper invoice!

I've also been informed (after purchasing) that they are not VAT registered. One to watch out for if you plan to expense a purchase from your employer/claim VAT back on the purchase.

The chairs are exactly what we wanted at a great price, and Tom's communication over email was excellent. Thank you!

I ordered a Orangebox Do chair from G13Group recently. Upon ordering I didn't recieve any sort of estimation of delivery so emailed them and got through to Tom who replied very fast.

I then asked to swap the order to a different version of the same chair, which Tom assured me would be sorted and with no need to pay the £10 difference or re-order. Initially I was a little concerned but the chair did arrive within around 5 days (including the weekend) and was sent via DPD with a text sent for tracking.

When the chair arrived it was simple to assemble and in a very good state for a used chair.

The only issue I have with the chair is the slight tilt to the left that base has when leaning on the arm, I have communicated this to Tom via text and he said to keep an eye on it although I am sure that we would be able to figure out a fix should it come to it.

I wrote a bad review regarding a Steelcase Leap I bought from G13. I was immediately asked to remove it and that i’d get a replacement chair.

I bought it in September 2019 and had been trying to get it resolved for months then wrote the review on 15th March as a final straw. I have had about 50 messages sent since saying “Will send it soon”.

11 months later still haven’t got it sorted, I can only assume it’s a scam.

PS. Tom don’t message me/call again asking to remove this, just send me my chair and i’ll amend the review accordingly.

Don’t buy from this website. I found this website via Facebook Marketplace where Tom announces used chairs. They look pretty new, and he promises next day delivery via DPD. After you buy, Tom keeps giving you excuses and don’t send the chair, no tracking number, nothing. I’m requesting my money back in Paypal, I hope I succeed.

Edit 20/07: Still haven't received my money back to my account, although paypal said G13group has refunded my money. After I published my review, Tom came to me blackmailing me with "I will send your chair only if you remove your review". In my opinion, a real shop would be willing to sell and deliver the product, not acting like they were giving me a favor. Still very suspicious to me.

Edit 30/07: Still not received my money back. In contact with Paypal, they informed the following:

"Upon checking here, I can see that the refund from G13 Office Chairs was previously removed"

They issue the refund and cancel immediately after, so you think your money is being returned when it is actually not.

After some hours of browsing I found this store and the customer service and prices are unbeatable, even with what's going on in the world right now. The chair is said to be used but the one I received looks and feels new.

Bought some herman chairs for our office. Rapid delivery and in excellent condition. Would definitely recommend.

Other than having difficulty getting through on the telephone as Tom has been so busy I can’t fault the service. After working from my dining room table since Lockdown my back was suffering and I needed a chair urgently. I was able to find a professional quality chair at a fraction of the price which was delivered contactless the next day. Apart from a few scuffs on the wheels it’s perfect and fully adjustable just like my work one. Thank you Tom

I was looking for a Herman Miller Aeron chair for a fair price and delivery and then I found G13group. I truly recommend them if you like me want high quality chair. Very good communication with Tom over gumtree or emails and everything came as described by DPD next day delivery. Although, I had to wait like about 1-1,5 weeks for the chair to be send due to many orders, but I would not mind waiting. A few different sites who sells Aerons do to include VAT (20%) in their website price. Here, the VAT and delivery is included so you know upfront what are you going to pay. If you need yo buy the chair online, don't waste your time and buy it from this website.

Quick summary: Herman Miller Aeron refurb, fully loaded - great chair Tom had great communication. Worth the money. He is a very busy chap!

received my Aeron this morning. assembled within 15 mins. adjusted the chair for my position as per the instructions on the HM website. WOW.

Top job, Top company. if your hesitant about buying one of these the answer is don't be.

Before this chair i was sat in an ordinary office chair 8 hours a day designing. now il be able to sit 8 hours a day and not have back stress.

Came very quickly, extremely good communication. Quality of the chair was as described, with no damage. I would happily recommend and use again. Thank you

Service: I ordered my chair on a Wednesday, after having contacted Tom and being informed it would be delivered on Friday. It did not arrive on that Friday, or the next week - it finally got to me on Thursday, two weeks after ordering, a far cry from two day turnaround promised even prior to ordering. Throughout this I felt like I needed to prod Tom for acknowledgement of delay, followup, and any updates - he generally replied promptly if without much detail. I would have been happy to wait, but I took the original promise of quick turnaround seriously.

Chair: The chair is in pretty good condition - other than a couple of spots of damage to the mesh, and some very minor scuffs on metal parts, it looks just fine. Still working out how to use all the adjustable parts to it, but it definitely has been the most comfortable office chair I have ever owned. In those terms, it was absolutely a steal at G13 prices really, and I have no regrets over that.

Perfect, ordered my chair on Saturday and delivered on Wednesday. All other companies were asking for the end of May delivery during this Lockdown period. Needed a chair quick and G13 delivered. Really happy with the Humanscale chair. Massive savings over buying brand new. There are few marks underneath the chair but for a £400+ saving, I'm not bothered.

A great product at a great price. Communication with Tom required some prompting, but I appreciate everything he has accomplished for me during the lockdown and how busy he must be. Thanks Tom for your service and my Aeron.

I wanted to write a review as there weren't many on Trustpilot at the time of writing. Great service from Tom. He responded to my initial enquiry and all other emails almost immediately. Arrived in two business days with no problems despite the lockdown. The chair itself is great quality, no scratches, nothing loose. Adjust mechanisms all feel solid. Very happy to have a decent chair at last. 100% recommended.

Ordered a Herman Miller Aeron chair. Arrived quickly and well packaged. I'm really happy with the chair, it is super comfortable, and cost a fraction of the original retail price.

Slight issue with a missing lumbar pad but that was resolved eventually. Tom is very busy so you do have to press him a little to resolve things but on a whole I would happily order from these guys again.
