Reasonable prices helpful easygoing
I got my insurance with provisional license when no insurance company wants to insure me and since then I get cheapest quote for renewal each year than any other insurance company very helpful very satisfied.

Absolutely rubbish rubbish rubbish company.
They have insured for caravan cover which I don't own!!!! I have a car policy (I think).... I owed a further few bob (€300) through close brothers finance for the balance at €40 a month for 8 months.
They have been debiting my account for €140 each month!!! Absolute shambles and incompetent staff ...... both Kennco AND Close Brothers Finance.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER

Trevor & Tory. Tory answered the phone in a pleasant and timely manner and then passed us on to Trevor who was extremely helpful and had our problem sorted in minutes. Excellent customer service.
Ghastly customer service -and all I was doing was trying to pay them.
I was left waiting for over 30 minutes when I called them to accept and pay for a home insurance. The 'gentleman' who answered offered no apology for the delay. He could not find the quote even though I gave him the quote reference I received by email (9LAXSB). When I asked to be put through to someone who could deal with me, he abruptly put me into another hold pattern which said I had to wait another 11 minutes. Fortunately I was then answered by a pleasant female who was very helpful, and yes respectful. She had some difficulty with 'IT' and offered to ring back. - I am still waiting but am prepared to give her the benefit of the doubt for now.

Trying to get a refund because I cancelled my insurance policy, they told us it was going to take 5-10 business days for the money to come in, it’s been 2 weeks. We have constantly called the company and the hold line is just unbelieveably long. To this day I still never got my refund!! I will never recommend this insurance company to anyone. I’m disappointed

Disaster.
Renewed my insurance with them for the second year in a row. Paid deposit over a month ago. 4 weeks ago I've been asked to provide more documents. Been on the phone with them time and time again and it's been over a month since my insurance expired and still zero signs of my insurance disc. Feels like a scam at this point.

Absolutely outstanding customer service from the lovely Megan and Sami to be honest I thought it would be a hard task as I was to change the car insurance from an import to Irish reg to get insurance but when I called kenco I was put on hold but due to a high volume of calls understandable there fantastic company to deal with I got a lovely lady Megan she gave me all the instructions as to what todo and I went off todo it and I had to call back today but unfortunately Megan was busy so I got again a fantastic guy called Sami what a service very professional and extremely helpful we completed the transaction with ease and I received my email by the time I put the phone down I just want to say if anyone considering changing or simply looking for new insurance this is most definitely the place to do business well done guys with you 3 years now and never let down by your service keep up the amazing work … Megan thank you so much for putting it all together for me and Sami thank you for everything you did for me today so I can now go get the new car 🚗 amazing service 👏👏👏I’m hoping recognition will be in some way given to you both

Customer Service wanting
KennCo needs more staff. Initial quote was competitive, but sorry now I gave them my business. No sign of cert three weeks after paying premium. Tried ringing but threw in towel after 45 min. No response to emails. Must do better.
Update I have spent over 2 hous on hold over 5 separate occssions looking to speak to a representaive. The pbine was answered once but promptly hung up. Kennco have my premium fir over 5 weeks. I have on disc. Emails are not responded to.

Terrible customer service
I paid for my insurance and provided my documentation over a week ago now. No sign of my insurance disc and I’ve spent over three hours on hold trying to get through to someone. None of my emails were responded to. I still haven’t gotten any information on my disc. I would not buy my insurance with KennCo again
Update (28th June)
I finally received my disc and thought I was sorted when I received a number of letters in the post stating ridiculous payments due taken from my account. After enquiring through Close Brothers as, again, I could not get through to anyone from KennCo, I find out they opened FOUR insurance policies under my name. I am currently unable to reach anyone on the phone, my email has gotten no reply and I have no idea where to go from here. Absolute disaster.

Paid for my car insurance two weeks ago. Still waiting to get policy certificate and disc for my car. They don't answer on the phone or the email. Their "customer portal" where you should upload requested documents is not monitored either. There is no way to get in contact with them.

outrageous treatment with threat of policy/procedures- unethical service
My recent dissatisfactory experience with Kencoo Insurance, As a loyal customer for four years, I was shocked and appalled by the treatment I received regarding my insurance policy.
Despite faithfully renewing my policy without any issues, I was forced to cancel it due to passing my taxi exam. This decision was made without any opportunity for negotiation or discussion, and I was deprived of the no claims bonus rightfully owed to me for four years. Additionally, I was threatened with enforcement on my policy, preventing me from purchasing any other insurance in the future, which I found to be intimidating and coercive.
This is unacceptable ethically to treat a customer this way, especially when I genuinely mentioned that I hadn't received my license yet and would inform them on the same date I received approval to cancel the policy. However, my request was declined, and I was threatened with enforcement, which I find to be a horrible policy and service practice.
The lack of options provided to me and the rushed nature of the decision reflect poorly on the integrity and professionalism of Kencoo Insurance. Poor company policies and procedures resulting in mistreatment.
Overall, my experience with Kencoo Insurance has been deeply disappointing, and I would caution others against trusting this company with their insurance needs.
Useless when actually needed
Policy includes breakdown recovery and car hire. Was told 60 minutes on first call. 2hrs later and 5th call trying to find out what's happening, I got told at least 30 minutes more. Still no call from driver. And car hire only available on weekdays. Thought they were good until I actually had to use them.

In the reply from KennCo on here, they said to email them to discuss further. Thing is, I already emailed them 2 days ago. Clearly they prioritise TrustPilot reviews which can be seen publicly, rather than actually replying to customers that contact directly

Very disappointed with customer service, i can't even imagine an insurance company put you on hold for more than 20 minutes each time you call them, and after 20 minutes you have to talk to someone who have no idea what customer service is, definitely not recommended,
