The fibre installation went very well…
The fibre installation went very well and the technician was great. Unfortunately BT/EE had not taken note of the information about the age of the hub. It turns out the hub would not work with full fibre and needs replacing. Net result - no internet for 3 days.

Installation went much more smoothly…
Installation went much more smoothly than I expected. Engineer was very pleasant and efficient. Internet is marvellous and very fast. Unfortunately my landline isn't working properly. I can make phone calls but when people phone me they get the engaged signal. Dedicated team at EE are trying to sort the problem but not success so far.

Engineer turned up
Engineer turned up, got it done and it works. They sent something by Evri in advance that Evri lost - but it didn’t matter as the engineer had one of these cables anyway. I did waste some time contacting open reach (bt/ee) on this but they were responsive.

The engineer was quick to install - however nothing is connected we can’t watch any sky Chanel’s or connect to our mini sky Q boxes - not to happy to be honest

However, I am sorry to hear that your service is not fully working and that you are unable to watch Sky channels or connect your Sky Q Mini boxes. I appreciate how frustrating this must be, particularly after the installation has been completed. This is not the level of service we aim to provide. The next best step would be to contact your service provider so they can review the installation, verify that all equipment has been configured correctly, complete any outstanding work, and ensure that your Sky services and Sky Q Mini boxes are fully connected and functioning as expected. If necessary, they can arrange further support or an engineer visit to resolve any remaining issues. Please accept my sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.^Basundhara
Not as easy as I thought.
The engineer phoned to ask if he could come early. When he arrived he explained what he was going to do and just got on with it. It was not working when he left but said to call him if it did not work. After 2 hours it was not working so I called him, twice, and my calls went to voice mail. He never called back. I spent a further 2 hours, using my phone data, messaging the broadband help desk to finally get my broadband working.
