Awful client service

Awful client service, rude employees, waited a month for a damaged product then anther months for a refund l!!

Very bad experience

**Update: after this review, Otto.nl contacted me and explained to me what has happened to my sofa, and why it never arrived. We parted on good terms. Hopefully in yhe future, they will respond to customers this way before a bad review is needed.**

Very bad experience. After a long search, we found our perfect sofa at Otto.nl. We ordered it in January, with an estimated delivery of 13 weeks. When I got no further information in April, except a track&trace that did not work, I sent a message and got the answer that the sofa had left the depot in Germany and should be there within two weeks. Two weeks later, still no information about the delivery so I messaged again. Not to worry, the sofa would be there soon, they had no further information and hoped that that answered all my questions... After another week, I decided to call instead of message. Very friendly girl agreef with me that it was taking too long indeed, and she would pass it on to another department to look into it. They would get back to me within a week. Another week later, still no news or message, but in my account I saw they had cancelled my order! So I called afain, another very friendly girl agsin agreed with me that this was not how things should go. She foun out my sofa had gone missing. I asked for more information, to look into how and why they lost a sofa (not an easy thing to misplace), and if there was a possibility it would still arrive. The sofa we picked was by now sold out, so they could not re-order it. Also, I would have liked to be informed of the situation, which for us was a bit sad. We had picked the sofa with care, and had been looking forward to it for four months. The girl from the helpdesk promised me I would get a message back within a week. That is now over two weeks ago... still nothing. Apparently, customers don't really matter to Otto. We have not been able to find a sofa to replace the one we ordered, so we were forced to spend money on a second hand ok-ish sofa to sit on for now.

Will never order anything at Otto again, nor recommend them to anyone. my compliments for the girls on the phone, though, evenbthough they could not help, at least they did seem to care.

I can't give below 1 star…

I can't give below 1 star unfortunately. The company and customer service is incredible. I have been waiting and complaining about my package for almost half a year.

They keep " Assume" my package will be delivered soon. After reorder, waiting, repeating still one out of few package is missing.

It's just slightly cheaper than amazon or bol. But it's not worthy to worry about wether you getting it or not over just a few euro. I can order from Chinese factory and have them delivered in half the time and half the price than this shop.

Go buy from somewhere else. Avoid this store .

Scam

Scam, didn't receive part of my package and send a mail right away.

Now 1.5 month later, they tell me to fill in another paper and let me know it's going to take weeks longer.

Do not order from OTTO

Do not pay in advance when you order articles with OTTO! I ordered two fleece cardigans on the 2nd of May. On May 12, I sent a complaint that the cardigans hadn't been delivered yet. Otto replied that it would probably take another week, as the articles were not in stock.
Today, May 19, I can see in my account that they are still not available, so I will cancel my order. Fortunately I had not paid in advance as I had read quite a few other negative reviews about OTTO.

Pleaseeee do not loose your time &…

Pleaseeee do not loose your time & energy with this Company. I wish I would see TrustPilot before my order (>40 % poor rank). I will write my review in Consumentenbond and Radar as well.
Ordered a dining table for 470 euros (do not know why so expensive but anyway). After 3 weeks received a table with no legs!!!!!!!! When I called, they tried to screw me but understood from post NL, OTTO sent only 1/2 package. After 3 times call, they said they cannot sent legs and I have to order a new one and return the old one but surprisingly THEY CHARGED me 12 euros !!!!!! Then I ordered a new set and now after 10 days I understood they gave me a fake POST NL track and trace code. Again after 10 times call and finally decided to cancel it, they told me they cannot cancel it and I have to cancel on door when I received it !!!!!! Also they cannot open investigation with post NL before three weeks after online order. A SYSTEMSTIC SCAM....
NEVER EVER will look at their website even.

Dear Otto guys, my house is not a warehouse... please come pick up your incomplete table otherwise I will put it out behind the door...

Better service with the supplier from otto than with otto themselves...

We ordered a sofa and on the website it was said that it would be delivered in 2 to 3 days. After almost a week the status didn't change and we wanted to call and ask if everything was alright... also we didn't want the sofa to arrive on my birthday and deal with getting rid off the old one on that day, so we wanted to get an estimate date when we could expect it to be delivered. We had contact with 2 workers and both gave us the same answers. Nothing new that we couldn't figure out on our... Very dissapointing... We did had an idea to call the supplier directly and ask them. Within minutes we had all the information we needed. So my tip is to just call the supplier and don't bother with the standard answers of the call center workers from otto!

Very good experience using the site

Very good experience using the site, but I couldn't remove any items from my bag. I tried incognito and the same problem still existed. I finally managed to do it by opening new incognito and select again which products I wanted. I didn't care much, but other potential clients may find it frustrating and leave. Hope you fix it!

10 min herbal hair darkening shampoo.

Terrible very unprofessional I order the herbal darkening shampoo 1 order and I went to check my e-mail and two hours later they charged me for 2 more orders of the shampoo how does that happen without me giving them my credit card information I left at least 20 e-mail reply’s and no answer my next step will be reporting this place to the consumer agency if I don’t get my 2 refund ASAP.

I am writing the review so that it might help other's , I recently placed an order for Dinning table using OTTO and I received the order on time , But the wrong product was delivered after waiting 2 week's. I did a proper followup on phone that my order is placed and to confirm if its correctly received by OTTO and they did confirmed that on phone. The Products had a wrong label and wrong color. Now when I am writing to them regarding it they are just sending me an email saying we will pick up the product without even reading my email. Very bad experience and worst customer service.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!

Worst experience ever! DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS WEBSITE AT ALL!!!!!
I bought a sofa in mid Oct. With description "arrive tomorrow". But after two weeks I was informed one of the pieces was missing And it will be returned (and I have to ask myself, Otherwise nobody knows! That was my third time to contact OTTO!)
Than they ask if I would like to wait for 10 weeks for the same product, I agreed, which means the new delivery date should be mid Jan 2021.
At beginning of Jan, I contacted the customer service again wirh same answer "we have no further information about your product, pls be patient, it likely to be shipped within a week" (I had been patient for three months already)
Then very surprisingly, another two weeks delay to end of Jan! And this is the 30th Jan, no delivery at all! Same answer "it likelihood will be delivered within 1 week, And we have no further information about it"
Which means I have been waiting for a "delivered tmr" item for three and half months!
I cancelled the order, but according to the customer service, I still need to pay if the item is received. What a nonsense rules, I have to wait for the uncertainty probably for another months! Or even years!!!
The "sincere apology" from OTTO doesn't feel any sincere at all!!!

TERRIBLE communication - Waiting 6 months for a TV

Ordered a TV on 26-11-2020. Skipped om some other TV deals with stores I know have better customer service. When I ordered they told me delivery was a little longer than usual, due to the pandemic (understandable). They told me it could take up to two weeks.

Two weeks later nothing was on it's way, so I call them and they tell me they don't know what's going on and to wait two more weeks. Two weeks later, still nothing was on the way so i call for the second time, they tell me they can't see where their own stock is and to wait another two weeks. It seems to me at this point they just try to shut me up by telling me this over and over again. All this without notifying me about the delivery time, I have to call and email to get even a little bit of information about this.

I wait another month and then get a message that my tv will probably be here halfway APRIL. From the date I ordered, that's half a year. If I knew I would have to wait this long I would have never ordered on this website. I will never order again and this will be the last store I'll recommend to anyone.

I understand longer delivery times, but half a year instead of the promised two weeks is insane, as well as NO communication about this at all. I feel stupid that I didn't order a TV from a store I know I can trust. Terrible, the worst online ordering experience I've ever had.

This company is one big problem !newer ewer again!they treat me wery wery bad! 2 monts old tv one month the tv work then the tv stop working now i send plus minus 15 emails to get the tv fixt do u think after 7weeks of weiting to get the tv fix somethink change ? Nothing nothing at all just more emails...i newer see somethink like this. Its geting way way to far ....
