The gym is ok but the changing rooms are awful. Good luck in finding a locker that works, most of them are bent out of shape, broken locks or are just plain filthy. Have mentioned it a few times but nothing changes.

The gym is okay… found D handles in the corner upstairs by the mirror Allen key bolts loose I had to tighten them with my fingers rubber coming away from the grips… the toilets smell awful and I washed my hands then found the hand dryer doesn’t work and no paper towel available to use either… need improvement standards have dropped since I last went… it’s just a basic gym cheap and cheerful

I found the website easy to navigate , plenty of options for memberships , only negative I have but it may have been an oversight on myself as was tired was I did not see which hours are classed as off peak times as that the membership I have gone for as mornings after I finish my night shifts is when is most suitable for myself . Look forward to returning to pure gym .

That's me done with Pure Gym Grimsby.
Pathetic shower temperature....and they weasel their response with lowering the carbon footprint.
Weasels.

It's sad that the hand sanitizer dispensaries have been removed and the reason is cause "Covid declined" but they did exist years before Covid. It's not a matter of Covid but people carry different bacterias.

Showers barely Luke warm again and have been for several months now, I know you turn the temperature down to try to save on costs but FFS it’s cold outside and a nice hot shower after a workout would be enjoyable
These are hardly slight changes to the water temperature they are big changes and it’s unacceptable to expect people to take cold showers

Excellent gym facilities but the toilets, sinks and showers need addressing as they are constantly blocking and omit odour as a result of being blocked

Good gym but they don’t test the equipment so your at risk of injuring your self and they allow people to super set when it’s packed so your waiting 30/40 minutes for something

My recent visit to PureGym was good, the gym is kept very clean and I could get on all the weight machines which I wanted to use. There is a nice, chilled atmosphere at PureGym.

I’ve been using PureGym Grimsby now for 10 years and I still wouldn’t use any other gym in the town. Dave and Caine are a fantastic management team, extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable if you are unsure of anything, nothing is too much trouble for them, or the other PT’s on the gym floor.
The gym/changing rooms are always clean and tidy…Jack you do a great job.
There is plenty of equipment for everyone to use, sometimes you do have to wait a little while if someone else is using it but there’s enough kit in there to use something else.

Enquired about job opportunities with an email and no one got back to me. Put me off going to the gym and working with management that has been very poor with communication.

The gym has not had any air conditioning for months so this makes a workout very uncomfortable so I stopped using the gym

Joined in spring, really enjoyed starting my fitness journey with you guys. Felt like I was making progress.
Unfortunately, I am now looking elsewhere as current equipment does not have fans on and the air-conditioning is, as the staff who I complain to keep telling me, "set to a smart metre for our carbon footprint". It's simply too hot to workout before 8pm. Which is OK for some people, obviously, but does not fit to my schedule.
I am all for looking after the environment, but perhaps you could look at running less vending machines or something to cut power usage? Cool air in the summer is pretty essential in a gym.

The work of fsns on the new equipment nearly made me want to leave

Grimsby branch is clearly trying to save on their electric bill as their air conditioning is essentially non existent. The equipment's as good as any other gym but as we enter summer its almost impossible to do cardio as I'm sweating so much I can't physically see due to it covering my eyes. Again, was nothing like this in the colder seasons but as the weather warms, its unbearable to do much in there. I like the freedom that puregym offers as a place to exercise at any time of day, however I will absolutely be looking elsewhere if this keeps up as I genuinely cannot exercise in that heat!
