We were ghosted...

I flew in from being out of town for a week. I came in late Friday and had a good Saturday with my wife this afternoon. I took my wife to Red Lobster for what was suppose to be a romantic dinner, before I have to fly out of town again tomorrow. The staff was very impersonal, basically rude. The hostess was preoccupied and unfriendly. After being seated in a booth the waitress (Mel) came over to get our drink order in a timely manner. She brought our drinks about 10 minutes later. This was acceptable because there was a large family gathering she was also serving. She proceeds to take our food order, then we were put on ignore for at least an hour. By the time our food came out our drinks were down to a few sips left. She asked if we needed anything else. Then stated, " I will bring you another more tea. A good 20 minutes or so go by and we are nearly finished with dinner and still no drinks. When my wife was irritated to the point she had to get up to go look for our waitress to get our drinks, she was coming out with the full course meal to bring to the large party at the bar. After serving the entire parties food, the only thing remaining on the tray were our drinks. A good waitress would have brought our drinks first. When I alerted another employee to get a manager, we waited approx. 10 minutes, no one came out to address the situation. We finally decided to just leave. It took us just a little over two hours to have our dinner. Plus another hour to write this review.

Not a place to celebrate a special occasion.

Today I took my mother to Redlobster to celebrate her 80th birthday. My mother had a choice to go to any restaurant she wished. She wanted Redlobter. I mentioned to the host, the server, and a new server that I was celebrating my mother's birthday. Not one single time did any of these people make an effort to wish my mother a happy birthday and bring her a slice of cake to thank us for choosing this establishment for her special 80th birthday.
I remember back in the day we used to go to Red Lobster to celebrate birthdays and the staff made an effort to make a big deal for the birthday person. I'm not asking for anything free, however, I was embarrassed for Red lobster to have such poor customer service. I know times have changed and the younger generation has new ways of looking at life, but it is very sad to experience such a cold environment. needless to say, my mother was disappointed she didn't get a warm feeling from her Favorite restaurant on her special location.

Red Lobster Nepean

Red Lobster Nepean - A Highly Disappointing Visit!
On the 23rd of September 2023, my family and I visited Red Lobster Nepean, a place we've frequented for three decades. Unfortunately, this time around, our experience was nothing short of abysmal.
Our ordeal began when we requested a booth upon arrival at the front desk. The short individual manning the desk, who happened to be rather curt, informed us it would take approximately 20 minutes. After waiting for 30 minutes, I inquired again, only to receive a discourteous response. He said, "If you're dissatisfied, speak to the manager."
After an excruciating 60-minute wait, we were finally summoned. A petite, blonde-haired woman escorted us to our table, which was inexplicably situated in the middle of the restaurant rather than the booth we had initially requested. Oddly enough, there were approximately five unoccupied booths nearby, but we were told they were already reserved. Eventually, the manager intervened and seated us at an actual booth.
However, our woes did not end there. Despite patiently waiting for 30 minutes at our booth, no servers came to attend to us. Fed up with the hour and a half-long wait, we made the difficult decision to leave.
After three decades of patronage, this was unequivocally the worst dining experience we've encountered at Red Lobster Nepean. I have no intention of returning to this establishment, given the unprofessional conduct of the front desk attendant, the inexperienced trainee, and the bizarre behavior of the staff upon our departure. It was truly disheartening.

The food was amazing and the customer…

The food was amazing and the customer service was excellent! My boyfriend and I were on vacation in lake George and decided we wanted to go to red lobster for their all you can eat shrimp and it was the best our waiter made sure our drinks were always full and our shrimp refills came out quick. The biscuits are always an added bonus they are delicious!

It's a Mixed Bag...

First off, I want to say the service at the Hot Springs Arkansas shop was excellent. As a group of nine. We were celebrating a wedding anniversary. Prices were as expected in the current inflationary economy. Everyone, other than myself seemed happy with their meals. Unfortunately, I apparently ordered the WORST thing on the menu: fish & chips. A fairly simple meal, well prepared in some of the most common places. Not here. One piece of some sort of white fish, covered in so much batter, it took 3 bites to get to the fish. The fries were, in a word, awful. Probably frozen & heated in the oven. ANY fast food place out there on their worst day were far superior. Coleslaw probably came from Sam's or Walmart & way too sweet. The cheese biscuits? Usually my favorite. Flat, way too salty, &not enough cheese. I would recommend this shop, but NOT, NEVER, the fish & chips.

Food is good, served warm & good prices

I don't know why there is many reviews that are negative here! My wife and I eat the Merivale Rd Red Lobster in Nepean and even though it's not the fanciest restaurant, the food is good, served warm and prices are decent too. I give it a good 4 stars!

Avoid leftover in your order

Avoid leftover in your order

This was the 4th time I ordered lobster tails to get leftover tails. I did try to prevent this from happening. I wrote a clear instruction on the online take-out order which stated clearly these two tails orders must be freshly cooked. Yet I still ended up with a leftover-tail on the night of Christmas Eve. This store at Bridge Port, CT was not trustful and offered bad service at the expense of customers and the chain stores’ brand name.

Done with the Vineland, NJ Red Lobster

I must say, that service/customer service here has dramatically gone DOWN in the years that I have been in this town. So much to the point that we have de if we EVER get a taste for Red Lobster, we will travel to another town to do so! 3 weeks ago we sat in our car for an hour and 15min (waiting for our table & I’m disabled) and we had been FORGOTTEN & we didn’t even get a simple apology for the oversight! Then tonight, 9/24/2022, we were yet AGAIN FORGOTTEN! sat in the car for 43 minutes watching people come and go and we went inside and was told our table was ready just for the girl to say “NO, not them they have to wait, this group is first!” Yet, I sat in my car watching that group walk in…so that was around 15-20 minutes after us. Now, I do understand that the size of the group sometimes factors in, however, the fact that we were FORGOTTEN twice doesn’t & there is NO EXCUSE FOR IT NOR THE ATTITUDE BEHIND their mistake! Also, I have been on hold for 21 minutes (presently still on hold) to speak to a manager! I have NEVER in my life had such a terrible experience paired with what seems to be incapable staff & lack of caring which is needed in customer service!

I order food delivery from red…

I order food delivery from red lobster.By the time I got my food#1 it was cold #2they left out part of my order. Call them they told me the next time that I ordered would give me what I was missing.
For free. The next day I called and was told yes I would get it
. So I ordered more foof. But when it got to me They still did not get.It but half my order was missing too and was cold.Called and talked to a manager and was told they would send me a coupon for my first missing item by e-mail and would refund my money for my second order.What kind of people do they have working for them? All I can say is they can not read because my order was correct on my receipt but did not get what I ask for.

No longer a red lobster fan

I took my granddaughter and her friend to red lobster in Shawnee for lunch it was her friends birthday and we ordered from the menu and we knew that the menu has changed to pricey but that was OK they love red lobster. I assumed that the bill would be around $100 but when I got the bill it was $142 I was shocked the drinks were the amount of a can Of a Dr Pepper soda the price for those were nearly 4 dollars we ordered brussels sprouts which was one of our 2 vegetables that was also charge extra on the ticket and they were burnt to a crisp, the lobster was so rubbery you could barely pull it apart to eat it the shrimp scampi no longer has that nice garlicky taste to it so the food quality I would give a 2. I don’t believe I will be going back to red lobster anytime soon. For someone on a low budget and paying $142 for a lunch meal the meal should’ve been exquisite. The customer service that’s the waitress was amazing though but still I will not be going back.

A Valuable Team Member Can Make All The Difference!

Tonight my wife and I decided to dine at The red Lobster. We just moved here on
July 16th 2022 from Portland, Oregon. We have been to Red Lobster locations in Oregon, Orange County, CA, and San Diego. We have never had a server as genuine as Alexus who we met today at this location! Yes Alexus was polite and friendly, professional and attentive but what made this an experience above ALL other evenings we spent at other Red Lobster locations across the country was Alexus came across as such a genuine person!! That's not something you can create, fake, learn. It's truly a gift and Alexus shared that with us tonight. The greatest assets of any business is its people. Alexus is a perfect example of that. Red Lobster is very lucky to have such a valuable team member! Thank you all for a great meal tonight and thank you Alexus for being you. We wish you all the best. And continue striving to be the best.

Shrimp kung pao

I picked up carry out from the Beachwood, Ohio Red Lobster. Shrimp kung pao and biscuits. Biscuits were good but kung pao was HORRIBLE! They threw a bunch of noodles in the carry out box with some fried shrimp and nothing else. No edamame, cabbage, crispy onions, cashews or green onions. Not even any spice in the soy ginger sauce. It's basically a plate full of noodles with a thick sickenly sweet sauce with breaded shrimp that's not crispy on it. I've had it 3 times before and it was delicious. Whoever made it this time needs to follow what the menu states is in it. Will not go back here again.

We went there to eat a good meal,I always go there but hadn't been in a while the food was not good my steak were so tough my potatoes wasn't done the food wasn't season and I ask them what in the world going on in red lobster not going back no time soon .

Don't buy grilled chicken at Red Lobster

This review is about the Red Lobster Restaurant on Route 9, Poughkeepsie, NY. I ordered the grilled chicken. I received five pieces of chicken breast of various sizes. It amounted to about one full chicken breast. They were very dry, cold, stringy, tasteless and tough. It appeared to me that they had been cooked at least a day or more before serving it to me. Since I was part of a large party I didn't want to embarrass the host by complaining. I let it go.
