Great time had by all
Great time had by all. We took our grandsons for bowling which was excellent. We had a drink in the bar and then onto the arcade. The use of the loaded card was much easier plus you could load any tickets won onto it. All staff were most helpful and by booking online the process was very smooth to get to our lane.

Everything was fine except the fact that charging isnt allowed. I mean, why is there even an electric socket if people canbt charge when their phone is dead

Nice venue but short of staff
Nice venue but short of staff. Booking advised ti arrive at 9.45 am, venue wasnt even open! Then we had a 20min wait while they waited for another staff member to arrive. They don't give any instructions for games, because of lack of staff, so you loose valuable allocated time trying to figure it out. Then food took alot longer than advised... such a shame as otherwise the kids enjoyed it, but overpriced for experience.

People's needs not met
The burger was so dry it was like sandpaper. No sauces added or sachets.
Was placed
With a family with an autistic child who was 'kicking off' & screaming.
Why would you place a group of 4 adults with this family????
The whole experience was ruined by this child's outbursts - support needs. We couldn't be given a alternative lane.
I went for a 'last outing' with my son before he leaves for army training.
We were all glad to leave.
I appreciate you can't predict additional needs children's behaviour but u can place people better.
My support needs were not met. I went in anxious emotional & teary . Then came out angry & agitated pissed off my memory was ruined.

Smooth and simple booking and confirmation on arrival. It was quiet whilst we were there so it was disappointing they put another group right next to us with all the available lanes.

Very helpful staff
Very helpful staff. We booked karaoke and the screen in room 1 froze which couldn't be rectified but they were polite and moved us to room 2. The new layout is great. We will be back (£50/hr is a LOT for 2 people but we're grateful there isn't a stipulated 4 or more like everywhere else in York). If it were cheaper we'd go a few times a week! :)

Bit confused by their timing. Had hoped to book a game of bowling for my 2 grandsons & they would eat free. Surprised to learn this policy was suspended in the school holidays ? Surely a time when grandparents/parents would use it most

Safety concerns …
We have brought grandchildren bowling for many years and are bringing more grandchildren later this week. Unfortunately when we were there last week the people using the lane next to us made me worry for my grandchildren’s safety. They were totally misusing the bowling balls. My concern is that they were not advised by staff on the correct way to bowl for everybody’s safety, including their own . This has never happened before. I wonder whether there was a shortage of staff on that day.

It could be 5 stars if they could serve a coffee ☕️ with a cream on top or caramel or café latte or cappuccino.I mention they have a professional coffee machine...so option for coffee are many.

Easy to book on line. Check in easy and accessed bowling lane straight away. Easy to set up game. Place was clean and staff polite.

It was great when I was inside
It was great when I was inside, I got a parking ticket afterwards, I didn't realise I had to put my registration in a machine or anything. I will get another parking ticket for yesterday i went. It was not clear I had to put my registration. Otherwise I and my grandchildren enjoyed it. I was parked in a disabilities space with my parking ticket too.
