Honest support for my business

We came out of an agreement with Payzone in early February 2019, a business I would never use again. I was pleasantly surprised at the honesty of the Transax business advisor, Dave. Honest, no bull, and has done everything he said he would, exactly when he said he would do it. Excellent service from him as I see him as a support for my business and not a "rep" trying to sell. I would recommend Dave and Transax without hesitation.

I’m so glad our business made the change to Transax! Cheaper rates and money so fast. My rep was kelly in Manchester and she found the best deal tailored to my business. Not only was she there to do the deal but she always picks up the phone if I need any help. Highly recommend Transax

So pleased we transferred to Transax.

So pleased we transferred to Transax.
With next day settlement and cost effective pricing, we're delighted we made the switch. Our point of contact was Kelly, who was very professional and helped with all the paperwork. She made the whole process very easy for us.

WARNING

WARNING! If you are on a contract with this company check when it ends NOW.
1. If you miss your 30 day notice period at the end of your contract...your account will automatically renew for the FULL duration of your original contract and cost you THOUSANDS to get out. They will make NO effort to prevent this happening.

2. They incorporate a thing called MSC(?) into any cancellation quote. Turns out MSC is Minimum Monthly Service Charge. They want to charge you even when you terminate and no longer use the service!!!

3. Lure you in with a "cheap" chip and pin machine...all the other fees are expensive.

4. When you do enquire about cancelling, you are grilled and asked, in a condescending way, why etc.

Erm...look at the points above!

Beware of the fixed term contract

Beware of the fixed term contract. After the fixed term the contract end it will automatically renew and you will be lock into another fixed term. You have to give written notice at least 30 days before the end of the fixed term, Transax will not remind you. My advice either write to cancel the agreement when you take out the agreement or don't use a company that uses tatics like this, if you are a reputable company why hide terms.

LIARS!!!

LIARS!!!
They tell you a bunch of lies to sign you up. They lied about almost everything, and will do nothing about it. Do not sign up unless you have read every word of the big fat contract they put in front of you, do not believe a word the salesman tells you, even better to not let them anywhere near you.
BEWARE - avoid this company like the plague

Misleading Transaction Card Fees

Asked for a fee Quote. Transax deliberately left out high Fees transaction cards then only to sneak these into the Agreement. If you query it before signing then get told those cards are rarely accepted in UK but we just have to write them in! First statement shows I am now paying nearly double to what Lloyds Cardnet were charging us for nearly 20 years. Fortunately did not listen to Transax on the phone which their workers prefer but got everything in writing. So just started a Complaint through The Financial Ombudsman on the basis of misleading information provided enticing potential customers tto sign up.

Alert on self-renewing contract

Having gone beyond our contract expiry date with Transax, we had a new company lined up, considerably better value and called Transax to cancel. They advised that, as the machine has continued to be used beyond the initial fixed term and we did not send them notification of cancellation, giving at least 30 days notice, the the contract is AUTOMATICALLY rolled over for a further two years! To pay Transax to buy out of the contract was extortionate. According to the other company we were going to use, this behaviour used to be acceptable but is no longer and should not be practised.

CHEATS

CHEATS
THEY HAVE BEEN CHARGING US £4.00 PER MONTH FOR PCI COMPLIANCE AND £25.00 PER MONTH FOR PCI NON COMPLIANCE
THEY CLAIM TO HAVE INFORMED US ABOUT REGISTERING PCI BY EMAIL COMPLIANCE BUT IN FACT THIS IS A COMPLETE LIE
I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANY ONE
PUT YOUR TERMINAL IN A DRAW UNTIL YOUR CONTRACT EXPIRES AND FIND AN ALTERNATIVE COMPANY WHO WILL PROBABLY GIVE YOU A FREE TERMINAL UNTIL THE END OF YOUR CONTRACT WITH CHEAPER CHARGES

Highly recommend

Great company with the personal service of having a rep that will come and set it all up for you (Danny).

Head office are also helpful whenever there has been a problem or a query. Transax is a lot better and cheaper than our previous card supplier. It’s a shame we never went with them in the first instance. Highly recommend.

So happy with this company

So happy with this company! My rep Paul has been super helpful and provided a personal service. Any queries, he just seemed to solve Quickly and efficiently. I've moved from one of the biggest merchant providers and my cash flow is so much better. Cant recommend the service and staff highly enough.
