This company is praying on Pet Owners…

This company is praying on Pet Owners and taking their money without Registering their Micro-Chip. WHY has TrustPilot done nothing about reporting all these complaints to the Police and to Google to remove the entry when using Search ????

While trying to update info on pettrac I ended up on petchip registry

I was trying to update ownership on pettrac when without realising I ended up on petchip registry. It wasn't until I'd paid the £17 that I noticed things were not right. I emailed them 3 times explaining that firstly something wasn't right. Then I asked for a refund and then I wrote again explaining why I wanted a refund and to be removed from their registry. I've heard nothing back. I also contacted PayPal regarding a refund and they also have not responded. All I want is to be removed from their registry and have my money refunded. My next step is trading standards.

Oh yeah this is a scam

Oh yeah this is a scam, not government accredited. Luckily I paid through PayPal so raised a dispute because items weren't as described and was issued a refund.

Don't fall for it like I did!

DO NOT USE. NO REFUNDS AND NOT AN OFFICIAL SITE! if your pet goes missing official databases will not have the information. I searched this on a few sites and one even said the chip number was coming from a fraudulent source!!No reply from the company straight up scam site.

DO NOT USE THIS SITE

DO NOT USE THIS SITE. I registered my dog on here and paid £17 for her to be registered on the UK microchip database and they are not GOVERNMENT compliant so your dog will not be registered anywhere other than their site, so if you lost your dog, god knows what could happen!!!

To check a list of government compliant websites to register your dog’s microchip in the UK check GOV.UK

I have reported their site to google/action fraud uk/PayPal.

Due to searches on google I can see this site has been scamming people for nearly 3 years! And google is still letting them operate which is a total disgrace.

I have paid £24 to register my pet and now finding out it is a scam as my vet could not find information of my puppy on any other database and said if it ever get lost no one would be able to find my details plus this website is not approved in UK! I have tried to ask for a refund but the website doesn't allow me to do that and there is no way to contact them otherwise. Reading all other comments here makes complete sense now. Why is this company allowed to advertise on Google!

UPDATE: I have just received an email confirming the refund which I have not expected at all so I have changed the star rating. I still think the website is misleading and should not be trading or be advertised.

Not pet log!

Unfortunately I did not realize I was not updating details in pet log as I was trying to do, Untill I called the real pet log, and they informed me pet log does not accept PayPal payments, and this has been happening for a while, I swear I started of on pet log site, and somewhere within the update got transfered to put my details on the wrong site,
The company I paid was not who I intended to pay and the service they provide is not the same, so I'm asking for a refund, and my details to be removed, that is if I can find contact details for them?
So far they won't, reply to my refund request, strange that! And have asked for my details to be removed,

SOLUTION - MUST READ

First of all we need to understand that this isn't the kind of product that will get reviews from happy customers; it will only be the understandably disgruntled people that would take the time to write a review.

The service is what it is; albeit they are not clear about what the service will not do. What it wont do is be used by vets and pet shelters as it is not a certified database. What it will do should a person find your animal will give your information to someone who may stumble across this low budget website on a google search.

It seems that a lot of people have maybe quite rightly gone in all guns blazing about it; particularly after reading these poor reviews as I felt conned initially. I wrote the following email to their support email address and I was refunded instantly, even after working hours and was written to by email to confirm this.

I have given 3 stars as I am overall happy with my outcome.

My email is as below so maybe cut and paste it to get a refund:

Hello Kayla,

I would like a refund please and for my data to be taken off of your database as the product is not what is required.

This database is not shared among the professionals and is of no use to me.

Yours sincerely

Just fell for it!!!

Just fell for it!!!! How can this be allowed to continue!?
It's the top promoted site for microchip amends on Google.

Have requested refund and am on hold to bank to cancel transaction.

It's disgraceful that people will lose pets and never get them back because of this site.

Paid £17.00

Paid £17.00, was then told by the agency that did chip our dog that the registry was a scam. Contacted them, they promised a refund, asking for bank details etc!. I paid with paypal.
Paypal also refused to refund the money stating it was a genuine transaction.
I have contacted pet registry again today, and I am not going to let it drop, out of principle.
