Terrible Customer Service. Not interested in raising company reputation.

I'm currently expecting 6 parcels from Yodel. Today I've had a card through the door saying they have tried to deliver a parcel at 1pm and no one was home. Absolutely no reference number on the card saying which parcel this related to. They say that they will attempt delivery again tomorrow, but I won't be home. They then asked me to rearrange on the app, or via a phone number. When I go to the app, the options for delivering to a safe space, a neighbour, or a locker - are greyed out and unavailable for selection.
So I call the number. The automated system will not accept my postcode so I have to speak with an agent. The (outsourced) agent would not let me explain the situation, talked over the top of me, said he couldn't find anything for me, and the reference number I'd given him was due to go to another address (obviously causing me some concern). When I got annoyed with his robotic responses and inability to listen to anything I tried to say, he terminated the call without any indication he'd done so.
I called back, I had another member of staff that was marginally better than the first, but all he would say is that the two parcels I suspected the card may relate to, were not yet with them, and that the card must have been posted through the wrong door and it was a mistake. So... let's hope so. Didn't seem like anyone had a clue.
I had collected a (separate) parcel via Yodel at an in Post locker an hour or so before. However, there was no indication this was the same parcel, given that I was unable to redirect the outstanding parcels to an InStore locker from within their app.
Is it too much to ask that the paperwork pushed through my door has some kind of identifier as to and ID number or who the sender is? Or that the options shown on their app - to change the method of delivery - are available for selection? That the call handler could actually understand the problem, earn their wage and actually try to resolve the issue satisfactorily?
I understand that we're not the technically the customer, but don't the senders deserve a quality of service that is doubtlessly being promised to them? And I get that (given to standards of service) the call handlers will be dealing with complaint after complaint and have become complacent and hostile towards the people ringing them, but further alienating callers isn't helping anyone. After all, they do get paid to be in a public facing, customer service role.
I regularly get parcels from DPD, they jeep you updated with the location and status of the parcel, and give a 1 hour slot for delivery (which they ALWAYS adhere to). THIS is what sets some companies apart from their competitors. Stop trying to make the process of receiving a parcel as difficult as is humanly possible!
I have the second agents name and feel strongly enough about this to make a subject access request for the two phone calls, in order the attitude of the agents is addressed by management - especially when the first agent terminated the call for my demanding he stop talking over me and give me a turn to talk.
We'll see if the parcel arrives....
Avoid wherever you can. And if you can't avoid, ask for copies of any calls that you feel are worthy of complaint.

Please employ drivers who can read

Please can you teach your drivers to read addresses or at least hire some that can. This is about the 6th time they’ve delivered our package to another address with a similar name. Yet again I’ve had to drive the neighbourhood looking for my package. Read the label!!! It’s your only job and not hard. Well also not wreck the package if possible. Or leave it sitting on the wrong doorstep in the rain. Not good enough.

If I could give minus level that would be -100

If I could give minus level that would be around -100. This company is a joke. Start from drivers who lies about delivered goods up to useless customer service. Please do not use this company what’s so ever. I had notification that my parcel was delivered through letterbox and even picture attached to it but nothing has been delivered. I wanted to put complain about the services as it wasn’t any picture is been delivered and it was inside property. This evidence which is attached at Yodel side is not valid as delivery is not proven it has happen successfully and recipient received parcel. Yodel as shipping company understands ground of customer right to complain but try to do it. It is impossible- this company avoids complaints because amount of unsatisfied customer as it is shown on trust pilot is just humongous.
Why this company still exists. Is any authority able to take action to make Yodel follow customer right to receive goods not just accept its indolence? This is the request pro publico bono.

Incompetent

Had a notification that my parcel had been left in back yard. The picture sent wasn’t even my back yard. Got on a live chat, they told me that I would need to contact the sender of the parcel, which is another story. Not happy with the situation, I got on another live chat sending a picture of my back yard explaining that the parcel was not delivered to my back yard. Still the same answer, get in touch with the sender. Nobody wants to take responsibility and I’m left out of pocket 😡. I can believe so many businesses still use this incompetent company ! Yodel don’t deserve a star rating, If I could give a minus start rating I would.

Poor incompetent service

Yodel delivered my parcel to my front porch, a safe place you would think, the delivery driver certainly thought so as he marked it as delivered to my front porch

Thing is I don’t have a front porch I have a front door that leads directly to the public footpath where it had been left.

The fact I have my package is a testament to the honesty within my small village as opposed to the professionalism of the deliver my driver

Yodel you are an incompetent company, do better !!!!

WHAT A JOKE!

Yodel sent my parcel to the wrong depot which was sitting there for 8 days with no movement. I contacted them and was told to wait 24 hours. I gave them 73 and heard nothing back. I contacted them and was told I need to give them another 24 hours and that they would contact the sender- WHAT A JOKE!

Years and years of none delivery.

So, the same as ever. Yodel have now had my parcel at Stockton depo for4 days with no attempt at delivery at all. It's plane obvious, as in a past review of mine that the distribution manager is still ,ither holding back my deliveries or telling the drivers not to deliver to me. As I said in the past, I was told this first hand from 2 drivers. Appauling company with zero controll of its staff and I don't give a F--k attitude.

Awful experience

They emailed me they had delivered to my porch (designated safepace) got home no parcel was there. The photo of delivery was not in my safe space they dumped it somewhere outside and emailed completely the opposite. I've been chasing their customer service for a resolution for nearly 3 weeks. Their courier lied and customer service communication is very poor. I'd say an all round awful experience as I've paid for things I never had delivered. The stress and frustration of no humans to talk to is literally the pits. I am shocked at just how bad they are and that they get away with it. Trading standards need to review this company fast.

AVOID THIS RUBBISH COMPANY!!

This is without doubt, the worst courier company I’ve ever dealt with!! I honestly wish businesses would stop using them altogether. Two months ago my parcel was stolen because they abandoned it outside the building. Today they pulled the exact same stunt. If it hadn’t been for a kind postman who picked it up and actually knocked on my door, I would have lost this one as well.

And yet they have the sheer audacity to take a photo and mark it as “delivered”! When you contact their so-called customer service, they simply parrot that they can’t help because their system claims the parcel was delivered. Absolutely useless!! I had to go through my bank and request a chargeback to get my money back.

Utterly disgraceful company!!! Avoid at all costs!!
